“This was our first-time using Miranda and she made us feel comfortable from the very start. We started with a pre-stay meet and greet to make sure our dogs got along, and everything went perfectly. Miranda did an awesome job with Draco from the time we dropped him off until the time we picked him up. She sent us many videos and pics and in all of them he looked super happy. It really seemed that he had acclimated and became a part of her family, and they treated him as such. He also really enjoyed playing with their son and their beautiful chocolate lab. About: What sets me apart is 25 years of experience. I began pet sitting at the age of 10 and have been surrounded by dogs my entire life. About: I've been dog sitting since covid; things have changed but not the love for animals. Since my start I've dog sat for a wide varity of dogs. Puppies, oldies, big, small. Some requiring a lot of attention to help distract them, some that just sit by the door waiting for their pawrents to come home. About: I have taken care of family and friends’s dogs before. I own a 9mo old male doberman and I’ve taken care of him since he was 2 months old. I potty trained him and we run over a mile every weekday when the weather allows. I used to take care of my mom’s senior schnauzer who used to have frequent seizures during his last year of life. I gave him his medicine and we used to walk twice a day. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to spend with and to take care of your fur babies. I am mostly available during the weekends and weekdays after 5pm. I might also have some weekdays off, based on my week’s schedule. I have a male 1y/o Dobbie who is very friendly and playful. When in home I can take the dogs to the dog park. Typically, I take the dogs to the dog park 3 times a day. We play and cuddle together on the sofa.

About: Growing up my family always had at least one or more pets of various breeds so I have 20+ years of experience around animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, lizards, rabbits, goats, and hedgehogs. Personally, my husband & I have 2 dogs currently, 9 & 10 years old, one having epilepsy & is dependent on medication. I have helped raise/care for/train puppies, kittens, baby rabbits, & baby goats. The only pet I'm not comfortable with is snakes, my little sister has one but I only look at it from 3ft away in its enclosure, haha. I work part time Tu/W/Th 8A - 5P, I do not mind caring for pets those days, however I will be gone all day. Otherwise, I'm available for your pets needs! My personal routine with my pets: My husband helps me care for our pets daily but his schedule is a bit different than mine, so our dogs are let out at least within 4-6 hours those days. Otherwise, we let them out every 2-4 depending on their needs (which they have been trained to lets us know if they need to go sooner). Our medical dog is on a 12 hr medication schedule. I'd prefer to care in my clients home due to one of my dogs having a reactive past, it was quite a transition when we inherited our other dog. If you have a specific routine, I'm ready to follow it to the T! I'm comfortable walking dogs on leash, hanging out/playing with them in a fenced yard, or just chilling inside. As mentioned, I have experience with medically dependent pets. I have an escape artist, so I'm always vigilant of their proximity to me and prepared to run/chase in the event something happens. I can stay at the home with the pets or I can visit throughout the day!
About: Hello there! I absolutely adore animals. I spent 3 years at the SPCA, working directly with the animals and fostering. My friends and I started our own rescue, SFC Virginia Animal Rescue. I know how hard it is to trust your dog is in good hands, and to feel happy, and safe. I love snapping photos and sharing with you all that me and your fur baby do during our visit, (and not afraid to inspect poop to ensure your pet is healthy and report when a concern.) My dogs have been through various trainings and would be happy to share my knowledge while I spend time with your pet. I have over 5 years experience with pets with medical needs varying from administering sub-q fluids to medications to inhalers for the cat-kiddos. My girl has hypo-thyroid and has to take a pill twice a day. With my experience with medically-needy animals I am hyper aware of the smallest changes in behaviors in a short period of time and can offer varying tricks with administering for the ones who aren’t big fans. Side note: I do have travel minute limit, for those east of 95, that is within the time limit if the $5ish toll is taken, otherwise it would take over 30 mins. If you are okay with an additional charge of $6 to cover toll, I will be more than happy to assist! I work from home so I get a lot of quality time with my babies. Where I see opportunities to train, I take advantage. Training is a daily on going activity. My animals eat twice a day on snuffle mats with a kibble and veggie/fruit medley. In short, pet care is part of my routine. When hired to do check-ins I like to spend my first time with the pet observing knowing I’m a stranger and I want to not overwhelm. I will read the vibes and either interact more or keep a distance depending on their body language and how they are reacting to me. I know pets sometimes have a tendency to be more reserved or hesitant to do their normal activities. I try to connect and bond during this time as well with treats (if provided) and positive quiet communication.

They took such great care of her. She’s a new pup and needed some special loving to warm up and I was so happy of how they took care of her but also helped her to connect well and to socialize with other dogs. To my surprise, they went on a “field trip” where they were allowed to run off leash and smell and play in a very large confined space . “Our older standard poodle, Zoey, has a crate phobia. Matt‘s property is the perfect place for her to hang out, where she can roam and socialize at will, or retreat to observe from the couch. He takes excellent care of her and sends twice daily photos and updates about how she’s doing. Zoey is always glad to see Matt, and we will continue to use his services in the future.”
“This was our first-time using Miranda and she made us feel comfortable from the very start. We started with a pre-stay meet and greet to make sure our dogs got along, and everything went perfectly. Miranda did an awesome job with Draco from the time we dropped him off until the time we picked him up. She sent us many videos and pics and in all of them he looked super happy. It really seemed that he had acclimated and became a part of her family, and they treated him as such. He also really enjoyed playing with their son and their beautiful chocolate lab. We will definitely be using her again in the near future. Draco looked like he was having such a great time in all the pictures and videos, and we were worried that he wouldn't want to come back home to us LOL.”

“Cassandre was great with out dog Scooter! Scooter had daily walks, and loving care that allowed him to do his favorite thing - being lazy on the couch, he found his spot on Cassandre couch and she gave him the love that we could not. Cassandre is super great with communications and we also appreciated all the pictures she sent. Cassandre was also flexible on some dates that we needed to adjust. If her availability allows it we will alway return to Cassandre, we strongly recommends her!”
