My work schedule depends on the week, but typically I have events on Friday and Saturday evenings, and rehearsals during the week leading up to them. I typically have time during the majority of days to come in for drop ins; if you have any questions regarding my schedule, feel free to reach out, as it is not a typical 9-5 schedule.

I am always mindful of opening and closing front doors to prevent runners, and keep an eye on them outside especially if they are by a fence. For walks, I never approach other dogs, preferring to give them space. I've also dealt with dogs who love to counter surf, making sure that there isn't food left out for them to take.

Also, please let me know how well they do with other dogs, as I might occasionally bring my dog Maizy along with me (if you think they would be a good fit for playtime).

I love dogs that play with toys, especially fetch and tug! And likewise I love exploring the local parks with fuzzy friends, or perhaps something a bit more chill, such as some quiet time on the couch. My hope is that your fur baby will be adequately entertained (and perhaps tired out) for when you return.

Note for clients: from June 15 through July 19 I will be just south of Des Moines, Iowa for work. I would love to accept bookings in the area if possible! Feel free to reach out. After that, I will be back in VA as usual. Growing up, my family has had wheaten terriers for longer than I've been alive! I've cared for both puppies as well as senior dogs, and I love to play with dogs of all sizes. I currently own a 3 year old chihuahua dachshund mix named Maizy, who may or may not be our precious spoiled fur-child. I hope that I may have the chance to make your dog(s) as happy as she is! As a side note, my significant other is also on Rover, and she is also equally experienced with canine companions :) I am a full-time professional musician, which means I generally work nights and weekends. Over the summer during the "off" season, I have plenty of extra time to take care of your pets as needed! I am available for morning, midday, evening, and late night sessions as needed–please contact me if you have any questions regarding my availability. My goal is to keep your pet and home as safe as possible–if your dog is young, I will ensure that no small foreign objects are within reach to chomp on, and likewise I will assist your older dog in situations such as getting up and down stairs as needed. Please feel free to let me know any specific needs to ensure the safety of your pet, and any pertinent info such as medications or vet contact info, thank you!

Always a pleasure to work with Eddie - dependable, kind, he’s wonderful with our dog.
Eddie was great! We booked him for a last minute drop-in visit for our puppy and he came out on very short notice the night before to meet him with us there. He sent pictures of his visit, communicated well through the process, and even brought in a delivery for us that was on the front steps when he arrived. We would definitely book him again!
Eddie was great with both our dogs and kept us up to date with how everything was going. He went above and beyond a couple times to add to their enjoyment.
We were very happy with the care given to our kitties. The check-ins were on time and instructions followed. He even texted to clarify certain points. Would use again.
