Your furbabies are my furbabies!
I've grown up with and around dogs my whole life. I grew up surrounded by terriers, so I have no problem handling and appreciating a pup with a stubborn streak. When I was a kid, volunteering at the animal shelter, attending dog shows and obedience classes and rallies wasn't uncommon on the weekends (I even earned my junior handler award in confirmation!) While in college, I was dying to get a dog of my own, but wanted to make sure I could fully commit to the proper time and care a pet would need, so I tested the waters with a lot of dog sitting for my college professors and family friends. Dog sitting included home stays, drop in visits, administering of oral medications, play time, walks, jogs, etc. Now I am a proud dog mamma of my "chiweeagle" (chihuahua, dachshund beagle mix) Maizy (She's the sweetest little girl, very friendly with other dogs, loves hikes, making "zoomies" at the dog park and eating literally EVERYTHING) but don't worry, I've still got a lot of love to give! Looking forward to meeting you and your pup soon!

Margaret and her husband are amazing! They accommodated multiple meet and greets for us to make sure us and our dog were comfortable. We were sent many updates and pictures while we were away. Our dog was walked and played with even above and beyond what we required. We will definitely use them again!!

- Please let me know in advance if your dog requires any special care (needs oral medication administered, specific dietary restrictions etc). I also prefer to have contact information for your dog's regular vet on hand, just in case. Better to be safe than sorry!
