“Sydney stayed with my fur-baby the first time I have ever left her. She made me feel like my pup would be in great hands. She sent pictures and updates while we were gone and when we got home she had cleaned and let's a sweet little goody bag for my pup. I highly recommend her and will use her in my future needs!”

“This was our first time using Kylie to watch our 2 dogs overnight in our home. She followed directions to a tee and spent quality time with our babies. She came over for a meet and greet a couple of weeks prior and the dogs seemed to take to her well. We won't hesitate to have her petsit for us again! Highly Recommend!”

“Craig did a wonderful job taking care of Shelby for 5 days/nights. He kept us informed and sent us updates with photos during our trip which was really appreciated. Our dog really took to Craig and I know it made things easier for him being away from us for several days. Thank you Craig!”

“Everything went very smoothly with Victoria taking care of our 14 year old dog and 4 year old cat. The request was made just days before we had to leave town for a family situation. Victoria was prompt responding to my initial request. She arrived promptly for a meet and greet, our dog loved her and our cat actually came out of hiding the second day and hung out with her! Victoria immediately put our minds to rest about using a new pet sitter so last minute. She kept us updated on how the kids were doing while we were away and left our house looking perfect when we arrived home. We will definitely contact her when we travel again.”

“Where do I even begin. My family and I had to go out of town for a wedding and a funeral. We booked Alaina to stay with our English Bulldog Otis. When Alaina arrived for a meet and greet, she arrived extremely professional. She brought documents to capture, our fur babies routines, eating s Hercules, likes dislikes and all essential information. We informed her that he had developed a lesion on the side of his face in which we could not see the vet before leaving due to time constraints. Alaina immediately assessed and began building a rapport with Otis. Otis can sometimes “ jump up” when excited. She began working with him to sit and and stay, in which he felt compelled to comply. While we were gone, Alaina provided multiple updates daily, with pictures and a bio of his day, including updates on his lesion. It was to our surprise, once we entered our home, Alaina had cleaned the house, swept the living room and steps, the house looked immaculate. It was cleaner when she left than when she began house sitting for us. Her integrity and love for animals emulates immediately as soon as you meet her. I cannot say enough about this particular sitter, however if you are booking through Rover in the service area that she serves, it would be in your best interest to hire her services. We have lived in the area for 8 years and have had the need for a sitter on numerous occasions and hands down, Alaina is the best sitter we have found in the area. My husband and I will certainly be referring her services to everyone we know!! Alaina, we can’t thank you enough for the care of our sweet boy and the care of our home!! Thank you again!!”

“Skylar was our first sitter through this app and we couldn’t be happier!! She met with us prior to our trip and asked great questions. She updated us daily. Most important, you can tell Skylar really loves animals. She is gentle, patient, and kind. We will definitely be reaching out for her services again!!”

About: What sets me apart is my blend of responsibility, energy, and empathy. As a former Division I athlete and current graduate student, I’ve learned how to manage time, stay calm under pressure, and give 100% to every commitment. I treat each pet like my own with patience, consistency, and care. I’m great with active dogs who need play and structure, but I’m also gentle and attentive with older pets who need a slower pace and extra comfort. Whether it’s sticking to a training routine or just making your dog feel safe while you’re away, I’m someone you and your pet can count on. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’m already active, organized, and thrive on structure. As a grad student and former athlete, I plan my days carefully and always make time for what matters including giving pets the attention and exercise they need. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday drop-ins, or evening playtime, I’m flexible and reliable. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, and spending time with them is a highlight of my day, not just a task on my list. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, familiar environment by following their routine closely whether it’s feeding schedules, walk times, or play preferences. I keep communication open with regular updates and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing. I’m respectful of your space and keep everything clean and organized. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I make sure they have a safe, cozy, and supervised environment with plenty of attention, activity, and affection. In both settings, I prioritize the pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness above all.

About: Hi I’m Hannah! I’m a pet parent and FURever pet lover! I have been pet sitting for friends and family since I was about 12 years old. My first job was at a Veterinary clinic/pet resort. From there I went to get a certification in veterinary assisting. I’m also a certified master naturalist and a local hobby farmer. Pets are family and I would love to meet yours! **note**please let me know if you need care for livestock or small animals, I have experience in that as well!** My schedule will be opening up more in the next month! I’m currently working on expanding my hobby farm and I would love to care for your babies too! Unfortunately at this time I do not take my clients babies to my home. When I travel to my clients home I ensure we have a meet up prior to the day they need a service. We go over throughly what is to be expected. My top priority is safety and communication.

“Our sometimes fearful of strangers 18 month old Belgian Tervuren warmed right up to Nicole’s careful approach. She came 4 times a day for walking, play with ball throwing and feeding of both Terv’s and sent us numerous photos with each daily report. We couldn’t be more pleased with her service and will certainly call her for our next time away.”

About: My family has owned Rhodesian ridgebacks since I was a baby so I’ve taken care of dogs in every life stage. I love playing with them, taking them on walks, and just being around them. I have taken care of many friends and family’s dogs as well. I work part time with a semi-unpredictable schedule but I still have times when I will always be available so can work on a need-be basis or regularly scheduled. I have a fenced yard and can easily take dogs on walks or drives to the beach/dog park. I live with roommates so he/she would mainly remain in my room in my house but I have a fairly large room.

“Aliana was a life saver. We wanted to attend our grandkids' performance in Richmond. She said yes right away. She sent messages throughout and pictures. She was on time so we could get to Richmond on time and she left the house looking great.”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was 12. I’ve worked on a farm caring for horses since I was a child. I’ve watched dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish for friends and neighbors. No animal is too small or large for me to love! I rescued my own dog three years ago and now have experience in R+ (positive reinforcement) training. I’d love to practice loose leash walking with your dog. I love taking my dog for long walks and hikes, if your dog likes company I’d love to take them together! I’m experienced in administering medicines, caring for puppies, and senior dogs. I work full time so I’m mostly available on weekends and weekday evenings. I have a car and can get myself anywhere in the Williamsburg area pretty easily. I’ll always do my best to make sure your pet is well taken care of. I understand dog’s body language, and am meticulous in making sure your pets needs are met.

Lauren was very communicative during our time away and took good care of our husky, who can be a handful. Thanks Lauren!

Trisha was wonderful! Both of my pups loved her and we were so happy with her. I would definitely recommend her services and will be booking with her again in the future.

Carissa is awesome with my girl, Nyla!! She took such good care of her while I was gone. I was so worried about Nyla but Carissa reassured me that she was in good hands! Carissa also took such good care of my house like it was her own, which gave me such piece of mind while I was gone! I would highly recommend Carissa for anyone who is looking for a responsible, caring person to watch their house and/or dog while they’re gone!

Victoria is great, she is always very responsive and cares deeply for the pets she looks after. You can tell that she loves what she does and that she cares for your pet as if it were her own. My dog absolutely loves her and gets excited every time he sees her. I would definitely recommend her, and will absolutely hire her again in the future.

Love Erin! She is absolutely wonderful. She spent quality time with our pups and took perfect care of them. They adore her and so do we! I’d like to add that she went above and beyond.

Skylar is very responsible, responsible and attentive. It's great knowing my babies are in good hands.

Nina’s awesome. When we came back from our wedding we expected our Elkhounds to go wild when they saw us but they were pretty relaxed about it, so I know they felt safe and comfortable with her. She was professional and super self-sufficient. No constant questions or unnecessary check-ins; she sent us update pics of the dogs but otherwise just let us enjoy our wedding weekend. We’re very particular about who we let watch our dogs but highly recommend Nina!

Lauren sent pictures and kept us posted on our pets well being. They all seemed very happy. She was flexible as we returned early but we made sure she was compensated for the entire booking.

We liked Caitlin’s gentle nature. She is a sweet calming presence. Will def call on her again. Thank you Caitlin. The house was so tidy as well when we returned to our happy pups!

Alyssa was great to work with. Very professional. She house sat for four days. Could hardly tell she had been here. Our pup was a happy camper.

Sydney was great - communicative, flexible, and caring toward our pups! Thanks for taking great care of them!

Maryclaire is great; the dogs loved her! Would definitely recommend and plan on using her again in the future.

This was our first time having Tracy stay with our 2 dogs in our home. The boys liked her the moment they met her at the meet and greet. I felt very comfortable with her and everything went well while we were away. I would not hesitate to hire her again.

Ava was amazing with our dog and with housesitting. She helped with our dog’s meds, did lots of walks in the woods with her, and checked in with us regularly. Couldn’t have been a better sitter! Thank you Ava!

Honey was fantastic watching our senior dog and our cat. We received many updates and pictures and our animals were doing great when we got home. Our home was well cared for to and she even got our mail. We will definitely book with Honey again as she just overall was wonderful.

Stephanie is a great sitter! She's reliable, great with our "pups" (11 year old Great Pyr and a Sheltie mix) and communicates well. She sends us great photos of our girls while away and Follows our requests to a T. Highly recommend!

Chloe took good care of our home and dog. Wally is an anxious pup, but was relaxed when we came home from a 10-day vacation. That’s proof of Chloe’s loving care. We’ll definitely book with her again.

Allyson is fantastic with our shy cat, was able to administer medication, and was so helpful with regular updates. Our cat really likes her and we are so appreciative!
