About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have spent the last 3 years volunteering with Hope for Life Rescue and Penninsula Regional Animal Shelter, working hands on with pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, from bottle feeding kittens and puppies to caring for senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I’m the go-to person for family and friends whenever they need someone reliable and loving to care for their pets, whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or overnight boarding. I have experience administering medications, handling nervous or shy animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, compassion, and plenty of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because animals are already a big part of my life. I volunteer regularly with a local rescue and animal shelter, foster when needed, and I also run my own business from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise, and my own pets (two cats and one dog) are all friendly, well socialized, and up to date on their vaccines. My dog, Mercury, just turned two and is full of energy. She loves meeting other dogs and enjoys playdates, which makes her a great companion for social pups who enjoy interaction and play. My goal is always to create a calm, trustworthy environment where both pets and pet parents feel comfortable and confident.
“Constance is a really special person. Great communicator, kind and open. She was open to do a meet and greet before Teddys actual staycation and allowed us to see her home and meet her pets to make sure everyone gets along. Once we dropped Teddy off she sent pictures every day! Communicated very clearly and kept me informed of Teddys well being. She was accommodating when we had little curve balls thrown at us and we have absolutely no complaints at all. Your fur babies will be in good hands with Constance! Carla is absolutely wonderful. We went on a a two-week trip overseas and had many things to worry about while we were away, but our sweet pup wasn’t one of them! We knew he was in the best care with Carla. It was super fun and sweet to get her daily updates with how he was doing and all the fun he was having. He thrives when he’s at Carla’s and has the best time with her and all the other pups who come to stay. Jaberlee was an 💖 AMAZING 💖 sitter while I was away on a small birthday trip that turned into getting stuck out of state longer than planned because of a huge blizzard. Not only was she so commutative and responsive to the last minute booking modifications, she sent the cutest pictures of my baby everyday with updates about his eating habits or him slipping on ice while out on potty breaks! 😂 Her Labrador(?) was the sweetest girl and I’m so glad Haru got along with her, as he’s not used to bigger dogs at all.
