About: I have experience working with animals in shelters since high school. I have also taken care of people's pets for long periods of time. I know how to handle animals with different personalities. I am very careful and attentive and will make sure pets get the appropriate care. I am currently enrolled in school full time, but I have time to drop by in the evenings and mornings if needed. I am also available on weekends. I cannot take pets into my home, as I live in a college dorm. However, I am happy to take care of pets in the owners' homes.

I grew up with family dogs, and I have done petsitting for puppies and elderly dogs for friends and family, and seasonally worked on a farm where I worked with guardian dogs, sheep, cows, and chickens. Lauren did a wonderful job looking after my cat for 10 days while I was traveling. She was on time and did everything I asked of her, including giving wet & dry food, scooping the litterbox, refilling the water fountain, and sending photos of my car during the daily drop-in. The feeding/water area and litterbox were nice and clean when I returned home. I would recommend Lauren!
