“Our cat spent three weeks under Paul and Terri’s care. We received regular updates on our cat, and it was apparent they treated our kitty as if he was their own. His living conditions and care was superb. When we picked up our cat, he was super relaxed and in great condition. Kudos to Paul and Terri for being so caring and professional boarding animals left in their care.”

Teona is very professional and thoughtful. She sent us pictures, videos, and messages every day. It is a pleasure to hear that your puppy is well and happy. Kai played in their yard every day and Teona also took her for a walk. She took care to feed her properly and gave her massages. Kai had a spa treatment for two weeks. I am very impressed with their professional and care. I already booked another stay with them.”

“Jared took such great care of my little fur baby. I’ve also hosted on Rover, but this was my first time needing someone to watch my little gal and I was nervous to find just the right fit, but he was a perfect match! He took her for runs and provided her with lots of treats and snuggles in my absence. He even taught her some new tricks! I feel so fortunate to have found someone that adores my four legged bestie and cared for her so very well. Thank you, Jared!”

“Brittany was able to answer many questions and provide a meet and greet prior to watching Bean. I had already met with 5 other sitters who weren't the right fit. Brittany came prepared to also ask me questions to Better understand how to best care for Bean. Lima Bean had a great stay even with thunderstorms present which causes her the most anxiety. She was spoiled and even came home with a cute Bandana. Brittany understood how important it was for me to receive multiple updates a day that encompassed pictures. This eased my mind that she was doing well. I would definitely recommend Brittany due to her pet knowledge and friendly personality.”

“Kristy was awesome! She sent an adorable video of our dogs playing together and assured me my dog was settling in just fine. I was very anxious leaving my baby with someone else for the first time but would 100% book with Kristy again. My dog had the best time! Thank you so much Kristy!”

“MAGGIE AND HER FAMILY AND EINSTEIN ARE THE BEST!! My girlfriend and I are traveling and needed somewhere for my little pup to stay for a few hours pretty last minute. Maggie responded very quickly and was able to look after my Piper. Piper can get a little nervous around other dogs but Einstein was super gentle and sweet so she was just fine. Not only did Maggie take care of Piper, but so did her family, which Piper loved! She got so many snuggles from everyone and I have the pictures of it… which is another great thing about Maggie. She will send you pictures throughout your pups stay which I appreciated SO MUCH! I have never left Piper with anyone before so was very nervous about it. Getting picture updates was great and Piper looked so happy in every single one! And she really loved going for a walk with Maggie and Einstein! We don’t live in Williamsburg, but if I did, I would ask Maggie to look after Piper if I ever need to leave her. Thank you so much, Maggie and crew, for taking such good care of our girl - means more than you will ever know! Recommend 10/10, 5 stars! ⭐️”

“Hillary was great. She communicated frequently and sent reassuring updates and photos throughout our week away. We have two dogs and wanted them somewhere they’d get a lot of attention and affection, which is exactly what they got with Hillary and her family. The photos showed our dogs relaxed, on walks, and often curled up in laps—clearly comfortable and well cared for. Midweek, one of our dogs had an upset stomach, and Hillary was proactive, attentive, and accommodating in handling it. She was a pleasure to interact with from start to finish, and I’m truly grateful for the care she gave our dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again!”

About: Every since I got my first cat my life has never been the same. Now I always love to take care of all my pets for my friends and family house sitting and long walks. I ensure that all their primary needs are first satisfied, food, water, and walks, then I like to ensure that they get plenty of attention for the time I'm with them.

We greatly appreciated her updates and photographs, reassuring us our girl was being well cared for in our absence. Many thanks to Olivia, we will definitely be calling on her again in the future.”

About: I wasn't a fan of cats until my toddler wanted one almost 20 years ago. Then, this dog lover was converted. Sadly, our sweet, crazy old gal passed this winter, and I am loving every second of cat cuddles I can get elsewhere.
“Victoria is great. I have used her exclusively since I found her. She takes great care of my cat Whiskey, who is very cautious of people but came right up to Victoria like they were bffs the first time they met. Very responsible and responsive. I am frequently out of town for work on short notice and I’m always able to rely on her caring for whiskey.”

About: I have spent my whole life loving and training pets, specifically dogs and puppies. I raised a service dog and have experience fostering service dogs in training for Canine Companions for Independence. When we experienced car trouble on our road trip, she remained available and accommodating, which was a huge relief. Not only that but she fed Lea dinner and took her on multiple walks. We loved receiving all the photos and videos. Highly recommend Jarin for dog-sitting!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid (my own, neighbors, friends, etc)! Growing up we always had multiple pups (large and small). I also have 5+ years of animal shelter volunteer experience. Volunteer experience includes maintaining animal hygiene and cleanliness of facilities, walking, grooming, training, and more. I work from home full time and have a flexible daily schedule so your fury friend will receive all the care and attention he/she needs! About: "Whoever said diamonds are a girl's best friend...never owned a dog" I live in a townhouse in Williamsburg with husband, our 1 year old daughter and our puppy, Korben. Dog sitting is a full family experience in our home, both our daughter and puppy love it when we have house guests. In fact our daughter’s first word was “doggie”, so it’s very important that dogs that come into our home do well with children as much as they do well with other dogs. While we don’t have a fenced in yard we make up for it with a walking path in the neighborhood and many other walking trails close by, we generally go on two walks a day, weather permitting. I've been sitting for my friends and family for as long as I can remember. So if your looking for a place where your dog will be well cared for and have a lot of fun in the process, look no further. Please don't hesitate to e-mail me with further questions, I want you to feel comfortable when you leave your dog with me while you are out of town. I work mostly from home so your pup will have the hands on attention they deserve! We offer ample love and attention through walks and belly rubs. There are occasions I will need to leave the house for work, but I’m usually not gone more than an hour or so. In those instances we’ll recreate what you do with your pup when leave your home. I really try to mimic your routine at home as best as possible. I know that coming to a new home can be stressful for the pup so I try to ease that transition by sticking to your routine as best I can.
About: I’ve taken care of and had dogs and cats since I was small. In fact, I can’t remember a time when I haven’t been caring for a pet. My goal is to ensure your animals get the care they deserve while you’re away! I work from home and have a flexible schedule! I’m available to leave during the day to care for your pets, take them on walks, and feed them if needed! Within my clients home I will care for pets the same way I would if they were in my own home! I will make sure their space is clean and tidy, they are well-exercised and fed!
About: I’ve always been an animal lover, and caring for pets has been a part of my life for years. From playful puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience, I know how to adjust my care to fit each pet’s personality and needs. I have hands-on experience with feeding, walking, administering medications, crate training, and keeping pets comfortable while their owners are away. Friends and family often rely on me to watch their dogs and cats, and I treat every animal like they’re my own—plenty of cuddles, playtime, and attention included! Whether your pet is full of energy or just enjoys lounging around, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for at all times. Pet care is just a natural part of my day. I’m used to building my routine around feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of love. I make sure pets get their exercise, attention, and cuddles every single day, because I know how much those little things matter. Each week, I also set time aside for things like brushing, extra play, or whatever makes them happiest. Taking care of animals doesn’t feel like a chore to me — it’s something I truly enjoy and look forward to. I care for pets like they’re part of the family! In my home, they’ll have a safe, cozy space with plenty of love, playtime, and snuggles. In your home, I follow their normal routine so they feel comfortable and cared for—whether that’s walks, meals, meds, or cuddle time. Every pet is unique, and I make sure they get the attention and affection they deserve. 💕🐾
About: We were pet owners for over 17 years for our own fur babies. We cared for them from the time they were outrunning their own feet, all the way through old age. Our family will love on all ages of pets while you are away! Our family has a flexible schedule throughout the week. We have some daytime or evening activities but are generally home. We can accommodate pet care in our home or in areas around our home as part of our weekly routine. Let us know what you need and I'm sure we can accommodate. We can visit your home at various times so your pets can stay in the comfort of their own home. If they come to our place, we will integrate them into our routines and give them plenty of attention. “Lana was an excellent doggie day care sitter. They have a wonderful back yard for our dog to run and play with Tucker. She is very responsive with updates and pictures. We highly recommend Lana to care for your dog.”

About: I have had dogs from puppies to seniors and they have all have been a part of my family. I have experience training puppies and even teaching old dogs new tricks. I have a wonderful home full of dog love. My family and I have boarded friends and neighbors dogs and they rely on feeding, bathing, walking and provide plenty of love and attention. “Lauren does very good work. She's clearly quite competent with Clove and concerned about her welfare. She's pleasant for conversation afterwards and is flexible. I recommend her highly.”

“My little girl usually takes at least a brief time before she warms up to a stranger like she did to Honey. It was just about instantaneous. She was ready to go for her walk as soon as she was at the door. I think she was somewhat disappointed when it had to end. I will definitely use again.”

About: I have taken care of dogs (during the day and overnight stays) ranging from 6 months to over two years. In addition to my pet sitting experiences, I have volunteered at two humane societies and specialized with the dogs. Before interacting with the dogs at the humane societies, I completed 22.5 hours of formal training, background security checks, and the Fear Free Shelter Program Core Modules. My responsibilities as a volunteer were canine enrichment activities (including making toys and interactions with dogs), recording behavioral observations, and canine handling onsite and offsite. I also enjoy running, so if your dog is up for that, they are more than welcome to join! I frequent run clubs with dogs because I love being around them and I don't have the finances to take care of my own right now (I am a graduate student). I just graduated from W&M with my Master’s in Science. I am currently job searching so my schedule is very open and flexible. Check my calendar to see when I’m can house/pet sit! At this time, I am only caring for pets in their homes. I am renting my current residence, so I cannot care for pets in my own home.
About: Every since I got my first cat my life has never been the same. Now I always love to take care of all my pets for my friends and family house sitting and long walks. I'm a college student, so over the summer I have copious amounts of free time that allows me to flexibly take care of pets throughout the day. “Victoria is so good with our dog Dash! She’s so patient with him and makes sure he’s comfortable and has all the things they need (including treats!) for a successful walk! I’ll definitely be hiring her again!”

About: I love animals. I’ve had my cat for 6 years, but have cat/dog sat before that and throughout the years. I am a senior in college and my schedule is pretty flexible, I would love to take care of your pet whenever you need! This summer I am looking for a job and currently unemployed. In the fall, I will be taking a few classes, but only a few times a week and during the afternoon/evenings. In my home, my roommates have an indoor/outdoor cat, so other animals would not be allowed in my home. Otherwise, I can come to client’s homes and care for your pet!
About: I have cared for many pets and homes over the years, the vast majority being repeat clients. I prefer to stay in-home with the pets to reduce their anxiety, provide a sense of normalcy, and retain stability in their owners’ absence. I have booked by word of mouth for over 25 years; this will be my first Rover experience. I am available for your pets the majority of the day, and will be able to work around their set schedules as needed. Very flexible! I strive to provide the care you seek for your four-legged loved ones. Feeding schedules, walking schedules, playtime, and care for your home are all vital factors taken into consideration when considering if this is a mutual match.
“Nicole went above and beyond to take care of our boy while we were out on vacation for 2 weeks. She is sweet, reliable and communicative. Our dog is forever in love with her. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a good walker/sitter.”

About: I remember having dogs from my first conscious memories, his name was Kenan and he was the nicest Labrador you could ever have. Since then I’ve had. chihuahuas, cocker spaniels, hamsters, hermit crabs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, you name it! I’ve always been around animals growing up and I’ve been taking care of them since I can remember. I have experience in senior care administering meds from taking care of my senior chihuahua so if you have an elder doggo that needs a bit of extra attention, I’m your sitter! If your animals love pets, look no further. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends :) Pet care fits into my routine pretty easily. I am on break from my seasonal job that I have in the Outer Banks currently so my schedule is super flexible for your pet care needs! I will respect your home as if it were my own when caring for pets on site as it is their sanctuary and yours. In my own home, I have a senior chihuahua who stays in the kitchen usually, and my lovely cat who wanders the house freely. We do have a fenced in backyard as well.

About: I’ve been around cats and dogs since I was barely tall enough to see over a food bowl, and that lifelong hands-on experience shaped me into someone who naturally understands animal behavior, routines, and training. I’ve personally trained my own dogs and have always been deeply involved in their care, from daily structure to behavior shaping and enrichment. Right now I share my home with a cat who keeps life interesting, and I’m very attentive to creating a happy, stable environment for pets. Animals have always been a constant part of my life, and caring for them feels less like a task and more like second nature. 🐾 My schedule is pretty structured around my work hours: I work 4pm–12am, and outside of that I’m home and available for the rest of the day. I keep my routine simple and steady, and I’m usually around in the mornings and early afternoons before heading into work. I’m not someone who’s constantly on the go or juggling a million commitments—my life is more grounded in work, home, and taking care of my pets. That balance gives me a lot of consistency and time to focus on what matters day to day. I take safety and trust seriously when it comes to animals and their environment. In the past, I’ve crate-trained my dogs and learned how to create calm, structured routines that help them feel secure and well-behaved. I’m comfortable setting boundaries in a gentle but consistent way, depending on the needs of each pet. My home is also very pet-safe, especially because my current cat is extremely curious and determined to investigate everything. I’ve adapted my space to keep hazards out of reach and ensure it’s a safe, enriched environment where pets can explore without getting into trouble. I pay close attention to what they can access and how they interact with their surroundings, so safety is always built into the way I live with animals. 🐾
“Mary was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Yesterday she took care of our dogs all day during our wedding. She checked in on them three times and even delivered our dogs to our wedding venue so our brother could walk our dogs down the aisle during the ceremony. She hung out for the wedding, and then delivered them back to our hotel. She was so pleasant, followed every recommendation and request we made, and our dogs were so well cared for! She even went above and beyond walking the dogs for a long time before and after the wedding! If we lived locally in Newport News we would DEFINITELY us her again. I highly recommend her and her services!”

“Nice gentle with my girl. Willing to try whatever thought would motivate, but usually based on what I suggested. Appears to be cautious and not wanting to hurt dog. Definately likes animals. Much interactive with my dog after we all called it a day. Client was being very recalcitrant. Perhaps do some bonding before attempting walk next te”

She was a pleasure to interact with from start to finish, and I’m truly grateful for the care she gave our dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again!”

So if anybody looking for an outstanding dog sitting Jackie is your best choice. We thank you again and will be using your service in the near future.”
