I’ve always had a genuine connection with animals. When I was a young child, I was able to get a squirrel in my front yard to eat right out of my hand. Since then, I've cared for a variety of pets for 30+ years, have taken wildlife rehabilitation classes, and volunteered at a local animal sanctuary. I also have kennel experience at a local facility, and have regularly provided care for my friend's and neighbor's animals for many years prior to working for Rover. There isn't a creature I dislike or feel uncomfortable with. I am also a certified Level II Reiki practitioner and have practiced on animals. I began working as an independent contractor with Rover in April 2022, and gained enough clientele to be fortunate enough to begin working full-time as a pet-sitter as of August 2022.
