About: Hi! I’m Jake, a second-year law student at William & Mary Law School and an avid animal lover. I grew up in a home that always had at least three dogs, along with cats, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Being around pets has always brought me so much joy, and I truly miss having them around every day. Since my roommates aren’t looking to have pets right now, Rover is the perfect way for me to spend time with amazing dogs and cats while helping owners feel confident that their pets are in great hands. As a law student, responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail are part of my daily life. I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own—whether that means long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I make sure every visit includes plenty of attention, playtime, affection, and exercise based on your pet’s personality and energy level. I also treat every home with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. About: Growing up as the youngest and having one other sibling Being animal lovers ment we always wanted to help animals, shelter them or take them in as our own and sometimes we did taking kittens or puppies. I do work a full-time job, but I have my days off on a Wednesday and Thursday and my mornings are open because I only work night shifts at 2 o’clock to 11:30 PM. I Don’t have a backyard unfortunately because I live in an apartment, but my apartment complex has a lot of grass and walking trails plenty for the animals.
About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have had dogs and cats as long as I can remember. I grew up helping my mom care for other people’s pets in their homes, so taking care of animals has always been a big part of my life! I’m currently a proud dog mom to one pup and a cat mom to two littermate kitties. I’m also a mom of three boys, so I’m VERY accustomed to energy and chaos. I’m also very comfortable cleaning up pet messes, I simply ask that you provide your preferred products and supplies for your home and pets. :) I’m experienced with administering medications and love learning all the little details about your pet — their routines, quirks, favorite treats, fears, and what makes their tail wag. My goal is always to earn their trust and make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. With my flexible schedule, I have more than enough time to devote to your fur babies and I'm happy to send plenty of photo updates at your request! I like to know everything I can from your preferences to theirs and I do ask plenty of questions as to give your pets as much normalcy and consistency as possible and to give you peace of mind that everything is well taken care of. I’ll care for your pets the way I’d want someone to care for mine. 🐾🩷 I am currently a stay at home mom with all my children now in school so I have more than enough time to devote to caring and spending time with your pets. I can walk or drop in more locally to me but am willing to travel further from home for overnight stays depending on the circumstances and with enough notice. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m happy to follow whatever house rules and routines you have in place, both for your pets and for myself. I know every home and pet has their own routines and preferences, and I want to keep things as familiar and comfortable as possible while you’re away.
About: I’ve cared for neighbors’ and coworkers’ dogs on and off for about 7 years. I’ve grown up around dogs and have experience caring for dogs of different ages, including seniors. I currently have a 16 year old Dachshund, so I understand the extra patience and care older dogs may need. I treat every pet like family and want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I work 7-4 at Langley Air Force base so depending on how far it is from base I could stop by during lunch but if not I can stop by during the week before 7 and after 3:30 pm. During the weekends and holidays, I should be free whenever to care for your pet! I live in a comfortable apartment with an enclosed patio where pets can get some fresh air and relax. I’m also happy to take them on regular walks and give them plenty of attention, playtime, and care throughout their stay. I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and right at home!

About: I have always had a deep love for animals of every kind, from the smallest creatures to the most majestic. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
