“Excellent sitter. She was so professional and caring. She walked him she played with him. I got pictures everyday. Bruno got along with her baby. They became good buddies. I can tell Bruno miss Snoop her pet. When I have to go away again I definitely want Myrna to be the sitter. You will feel good about leaving your pet with her”

“Raye is one of a kind! She is very attentive and punctual. My pup loves and enjoys her stay each and every time. Raye sends tons of photos and videos which is helpful when away from my baby. We will choose Raye each and every time!”

“Peyton was wonderful - super responsive and agreed to watch my dog VERY last minute. I was anxious about leaving Ember because she typically has separation anxiety but she did great and Peyton sent updates and pictures the entire time I was gone. Great first experience with Rover and Peyton!”

“Matt is awesome!! He sends thorough updates multiple times a day with lots of pictures and will provide you with peace of mind that your pup is being cared for and enjoying themselves! His home is extremely well set up for safety and surveillance as well, so you are able to leave any concerns at the door!”

“Michaela was absolutely fantastic with Zephyr and it was so clear he had such a great time with her this weekend! During our stay she sent tons of pictures to keep me updated on what Zeph was up to and was very communicative throughout the whole rover process. We met ahead of time during a meet and greet where Zeph got tons of time to get to know his new aunt Michaela and vice versa and it was clear to see how great she was with handling him from the start. We will absolutely be back and are so happy to have met you! Thanks so much for taking such great care of Zephyr!”
“Kyndra is truly exceptional! She doesn’t just provide dog care she creates a warm, loving environment where pets feel safe and happy. From the detailed updates and videos to the genuine kindness she showed A’mora, I could tell she treats every pet as if they were her own. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and heartfelt dedication made the entire experience seamless and reassuring. Finding someone so trustworthy and compassionate is rare, and I wholeheartedly recommend her for anyone looking for top notch pet care.”

“It was our first time leaving our dog Lucy with Michelle and Lucy had a wonderful time and Michelle took great care of of her. I really appreciated the daily updates and pictures on how Lucy was doing. We were gone for a week and I felt comfortable and confident leaving Lucy in her care. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog sitter!”

“Great hosts! They were very accommodating and had a lovely home for Eddie. I also really appreciated the check in photos and videos to see that my dog was happy and safe. I will definitely book with them again”

“My dogs are family to me, so I'm always nervous leaving them somewhere new. No worries needed though, Stacey was great! We had a meet and greet to ensure our dogs got along, and I was able to meet her at her home in advance to see where my dogs would be staying. She asked thoughtful questions about my dogs' needs and made sure I had peace of mind while I was on my trip. She has a fully fenced in yard which was great for my younger, high energy dog to run laps around the house and get her energy out. My dogs have a somewhat significant age range - one is 1.5 years old and the other is 8.5, and she was able to cater to both of their activity levels to make sure they had a fulfilling experience. We will definitely work with Stacey again the next time we need dog care!”

“Jonathan was great! He was very responsive. He was flexible with my meet and greet and drop off/pick up times. My pup came home happy and tired from spending a weekend with Jonathon’s playful poodles!”

“Susan is not only a wonderful sitter, she loves pets like as if they were her own! Susan has been sitting my 2 long haired cats since March when I had an unexpected death in the family. I could not find anyone to sit for my 2 cats with such short notice, I was in a pinch. Susan came to my rescue and responded quickly! I'm till this day very grateful to her! When I came back from my trip and picked my cats up from her, I had a hard time getting them back in their carrier! They didn't want to leave! I was so happy that my cats felt comfortable with Susan. I didn't mind them not wanting to leave and giving me a run around her house for half an hour trying to get them in their carrier. Susan is loving, caring and very knowledgeable about cats and she has given me pointers on challenges I have had with my cats, so she is not just a person that watches your pets. I'm very happy I found Susan, she is wonderful and my cats love her! I highly recommend her services!”

“I didn’t know I needed a fairy dog mama until I booked with Jerimah!!! SHE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! From the initial inquiry until I picked up Bishop, she was great. She provided constant communication, sent photos, and even shared highlights of their time together. I have already stated raving about how great she is. 10 out of 10, I would definitely recommend!!!”

“This is my second time using Nicole for boarding my golden retriever. Her home is well equipped for dogs and she takes great care of them. Timely communicator and I would recommend!”

About: For the last 5 years, I've been volunteering care for a herd of goats on Gillie's Creek Park. I am also the primary farm sitter for several friends' homesteads and a frequent pet sitter for friends and acquaintances. I have a broad range of experience: handling elderly animal care, newborn feeding/monitoring, pet anxiety, unique medication/feeding schedules, and general care for most farm/domesticated animals. I have a deep love for animals and their welfare with a desire to assist you and your pet in any way possible. I'm currently working part-time with a very flexible schedule. Typically not away from home for more than 3 hours at a time during marked available hours. My schedule can be adjustable if coordinating in advance. If caring in your home, I ensure that all items are back where they were originally left and that all feeding bowls and areas accessed are cleaned and organized. My home has a fenced-in yard, plenty of plants, natural lighting, and no other pets to contend for attention or food.
“Nadia took great care of my 11-year-old dog Nike. She sent pictures every day of her activity and my dog seems so happy to be among other dogs, which was surprising to me. I would definitely use her again. Nike was in good hands the entire time.”

“Panda had a great time with Jennifer and her family. We appreciated the pictures and videos she sent, which showed how well Panda was being cared for. We’re very happy with the experience and hope to have Panda stay there again!”

“I was able to enjoy a glorious long weekend because I knew my two dogs were happy and spoiled with Emily. Both my dogs (age 7 & 6) had NEVER been boarded or kenneled before, so I was nervous that they'd be anxious and upset, but they came home absolutely happy and contented after staying with her. She was kind enough to provide twice-daily feedback about their walks, sleep schedule, and general wellbeing, and that helped me relax and enjoy myself. My dogs sleep on the bed at home, and I chose Emily because she was going to be with them at night and because she has so many repeat customers; that tells me all I need to know! Emily is worth her weight in gold. Luka and Teddy had a safe and happy get-away of their own. Thanks so much, Emily!”

The median cost per night for dog boarding in Highland Springs is $45

This is our first time having Alexandria watch our dogs. My older dog can't see or hear much anymore and I get a little over whelmed at the thought of someone else watching my dogs. She was fantastic I got photos and updates and my dogs looked very comfortable with her. I will absolutely use Alexandria again.

Sarah was wonderful with Kairi! I felt completely comfortable leaving her in Sarah’s care. She sent lots of updates and pictures, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I could tell Kairi was well taken care of and happy. I would absolutely book with her again!
