“Damacia was a God sent especially at the last minute and having availability on a holiday weekend! I could tell right away that she loves what she does. She kept me informed on my Bentley’s playtime, eating and how he settled in with the other dogs! She even sent pictures of his interactions throughout the day! I will definitely be using Damacia in the future!”

“Nadezhda was wonderful with our dog Leo. She sent daily updates and pics, I could tell our pup was very happy in her care. We will definitely be using her services again!”

“I left my 11 year old dog Zee for 4 days and went out of town. I received updates and pictures 3-4 times a day. Zee did not eat much the first day from her bowl so was "hand fed" by Radka to ensure she ate some....OMG! We discussed by text and made a food substitution that worked out..Radka went out and purchased the food with her own funds! She took care of my Zee like she was hers...She walked her, played with her, indulged her, and spoiled her (to be honest)..I felt so happy and contented with the care that I never worried like usual. My family joked that Zee would not want to return home.. Radka's adorable kids even helped out with Zee. What more could I ask for?..this was THE BEST experience i ever had with doggie care in 10 years!! Many thanks to this awesome family..I hope they don't get too popular and unable to take Zee next time I travel..”

“Dale and Cyrus had a great time with Laura, DJ, and family! Communication was very easy and we were provided photo and text updates during the stay. We could tell they were having a great time and were treated extremely well. We picked up two very happy and healthy dogs! We will definitely book again for future trips.”

“Hallie enjoyed her stay with Elizabeth! Elizabeth sent us updates and photos every day. She took excellent care of Hallie while we were out of town. I would definitely use Elizabeth again! She’s wonderful!”

“Laura was fantastic! She sent updates and pictures everyday. Nellie had the most fun with Laura and her family. I loved how they really adopted Nellie into the family for the week!”

“Christina and family put me at ease immediately with continuous communication and updates even before Kane’s stay. I loved their willingness to accommodate his sleeping and eating habits and even the daily walks by Christina’s husband was kind and thoughtful. Kane has an affinity for blankets and they sent Kane home with another to add to his collection. A lovely family who made our time away from Kane soooo much easier. Grateful and thankful!”
“Caitlyn and Sam were so great with my dog and truly treated him like family! My dog can be a handful so having a sitter who enjoys him as much as I do is very important. I will definitely use them again!”

“Hilary was a terrific dog sitter for our 10 year old beagle- conscientious, friendly and so flexible, helping us out by picking up our dog for us. She sent us pictures every day to keep our "mom worries" under control. We feel fortunate to have found Hilary.”
“They’re always amazing great communicators and they treat Penelope just like she would be if she was their dog. They truly are wonderful family that also our friendly and nice.”

“Colleen was great! We know Dutch had a wonderful time with her and her family. She gave us peace of mind while we focused on our wedding ceremony and reception weekend. We will definitely have her watch Dutch again in the future!”

“My dog had an amazing time with Michelle and Milo - She liked it so much it seemed she didn’t want to leave! Seriously, Michelle took great care of my girl and made sure all of her needs were taken care of.”

“Kendra was amazing with Tinkerbell. She kept us updated each day which put our mind at ease with this being our first time using Rover. The pictures where the best as we could see in real time how well she was being cared for. Thank you Kendra!”

“Kingsley had a fantastic stay at Matt's place. Matt updated us often with photos and details of his attitude and comportment, and it was clear our dog was having fun. He seemed to get a good mix of play and rest time and we knew he was in good hands. We'll definitely be back!”

“Terry was the best!! She understood that I was nervous about leaving my French bulldog puppy - it was the first time we'd ever been separated- and she took extra good care and gave him lots of love and kisses. She also kept in touch with me and provided me pictures of my little guy - even though I was only gone one (1) day?! She is knowledgeable, kind and has a great heart. She will treat your fur baby as if it is her own. Can't say enough good things about Terry!! Except, perhaps that she is my new go-to person when I need someone to take care of Richelieu while I'm outta town. ”

“Paula was a wonderful caregiver for our Dolly! She gave her lots and lots of love, communicated often, and paid careful attention to her to make sure she was adjusting to our absence. We felt totally comfortable during our long vacation and will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I have two amazing dogs, Milo and Winter, that play constantly! They are best of friends and always welcome new friends. Milo is an 8 month old puppy still learning house training and making amazing progress. I found him at a rescue in Philly when I was visiting March 2026- love at first site! He clicked so well with my German Shepherd mix Winter, that I rescued in June 2025. Prior to falling in love with these two rescues, I helped foster several dogs through a local rescue- while healing from the loss of my dog of 13 years, Bella. She was a one dog household kind of girl, but Winter was just the opposite. I could tell she needed a friend, and Milo came into our lives at just the right time. I so look forward to helping care for your fur babies and will give them all the walks, plays, and cuddles they might need. I’ll ensure all your care is personalized to your dog’s specific needs. Also, would love to send you pic updates while you’re at work or adventuring! If your dog is in my care for doggy daycare, I will be home with them, unless otherwise discussed with you. If I’m hired to come walk your dog, I’ll give you a detailed update of our walk! I am home and available 7 days a week, unless I’m traveling. My dogs get lots of attention and walks. We love the James River Park system 🫶 I will ask for lots of detail about your pets specific needs so I can curate their care so they feel right at home! A home away from home.

“Cyndi was very considerate. I loved the way she treated my little guy. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She sent me updates frequently and I had a peace of mind while my fur baby with her. Thank you Cyndi. I appreciate your love and care for Oreo.”

This was our second booking with Nadezhda. The dog was excited when we arrived at Nadezhada’s to drop her off and didn’t seem to eager to leave when we arrived to pick her up. 😂 All good signs that she was being spoiled and enjoys her stays with this attentive family. We appreciate the care and attention given to our animal so we can leave town worry-free. 💕

Caitlyn and Sam were absolutely phenomenal, I have nothing but the best things to say! This was our first time ever using Rover so we were a little nervous but it went so smoothly that we will absolutely use them again. They took the best care of our girl (who is still a bit of a puppy AND has some medical needs) and sent lots of pictures/updates. They are the BEST, highly highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience with Miss Aubrey. Kept us updated while we were away with pictures and even video. Mac was incredibly happy playing with her dogs and visiting with her family. We appreciate all she did while we were away to take care of our buddy Mac hoping she has availability the next time we’re away. Five star for sure.

Ruth and Dan took such incredible care of Allie for a quick weekend trip. We met and immediately felt at ease - their spot is warm and welcoming and they clearly have a love and passion for dogs. Ruth was a great communicator - she answered quickly and sent many pics and updates about Allie. Allie unexpectedly got sick during her stay and Ruth took such good care of her. She kept me informed and updated - while making sure I knew Allie was in great hands. We are so grateful Allie was here for this stay. Would absolutely recommend to everyone!

Andrea and Ali have taken such amazing care of our two doodles! They treat them like family and truly love them as if they were their own. Andrea always does a wonderful job brushing out their coats, so they come back feeling soft and fresh. Ali would regularly send videos of him playing fetch with them — something our doodles absolutely love. Andrea and Ali set a standard for Rover sitters that far exceeds our expectations, and one I can't imagine ever being matched. We couldn't give a more heartfelt recommendation!

I cannot thank Jocelyn enough for the incredible care she gave Cyrus this weekend. After a previous bad experience with a different sitter, I was quite nervous about leaving her, especially given her anxiety and the fact that she typically doesn't enjoy being around other dogs. Jocelyn was a total pro. She was patient and intuitive, making Cyrus feel completely safe and comfortable from the moment he arrived. I was blown away when she sent me updates showing that Cyrus had actually befriended her dog, Honey—a huge milestone for her The constant stream of photos and updates kept my mind at ease the entire time. It is such a gift to find someone who truly understands dog behavior and treats your pet like family. We will definitely be back!

Our 2 senior dogs loved staying an extended weekend with Nuoya and her family! We did a meet and greet prior to booking to make sure all our dogs got along with each other. They asked a lot of important questions about schedules and needs. While we were gone we received pictures every day as well as any important updates. Our dogs received all of of the love and care I could have ever hoped for with a sitter. I can't recommend them enough!

Wonderful experience! It was our first time in leaving our dog with a pet sitter so we were worried, but Janeth was always in touch, sending us pictures and updates. She is a very professional and kind person. Special thanks for her being so flexible in our dog drop off and pick up (it was early in the morning). Definitely recommend Janeth to everyone who is looking for a person to trust your dog to.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
