“Damacia is an amazing sitter for my dog, Jazzy! She kept me updated with pictures and made sure Jazzy was well cared for the entire time. From the moment I met her at drop-off, she was so welcoming and kind. I also had a medical emergency at the airport and had to change my flight at the last minute. Danika was incredibly accommodating and allowed Jazzy to stay an extra night without hesitation. She responded quickly with genuine care and concern, which meant so much to me during a stressful situation. I truly appreciate her flexibility, professionalism, and kindness. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Cooper has such a great time during his weekends with Cassie. He gets so much love and attention he’s hardly excited to come home. It’s a much better fit for him than any of the other boarding options we used to use.”

“Dale and Cyrus had a great time with Laura, DJ, and family! Communication was very easy and we were provided photo and text updates during the stay. We could tell they were having a great time and were treated extremely well. We picked up two very happy and healthy dogs! We will definitely book again for future trips.”

“Rachel was an absolute lifesaver! She stepped in at the last minute after our original sitter canceled, and we couldn’t have been more grateful. She was incredibly flexible, kept us updated with messages and photos, and made us feel at ease knowing our pups were in good hands. She also has two dogs of her own, and they got along great with ours, which made the experience even better. Our dogs came home happy and well cared for. We would definitely book with Rachel again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

About: Hi! My husband and I have both had dogs since we were young kids. We currently have a senior dog (female) and a puppy (male 11months). Both are Australian shepherds. We also have two kids (6 and 8). We have a lot of experience with dogs of all ages and needs. :) We have a fenced in yard and our puppy would love someone to play with during the day. I am home with my kids pretty much all summer, so I’m available most of the day. Dogs will need to be good with other dogs and young children as well as spayed/neutered. We have a puppy, so I am in and out all day to take him outside and play with him. I am also home with my kids all summer, so we are at home a lot! I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pup company. They are both crate trained, although our senior dog is left out when we leave. I have an extra small crate (or you can bring one). We love dogs and would treat yours like our own.
“Very friendly and accommodating. My fur baby who is usually a little scary appeared to be very comfortable upon arrival. And the photos that were sent she looked happy. I definitely will rebook again. Maybe try a day visit since my girl enjoyed playing with Miranda's pup so much🫶🏾”

“We did a test run overnighter with Honey and it was successful. I'm looking forward to Colleen and her family being able to take good care of my pup while I'm away. I feel totally at peace with them and their care for my companion. Thank you Colleen”

“Lori & her husband took phenomenal care of Sammy & Sylvie (again) while we were away for the week! I couldn’t have asked for better caregivers to make my fur babies feel loved & secure while we were out of town! Lori made a genuine effort to follow through on the pups’ daily routines & we received daily updates with pics & vids as well! I can’t thank Lori & her husband enough for taking such excellent care of my Sammy & Sylvie! We will definitely be seeing them again soon! 🥰”

“Sheri is fantastic! Her two teens are fantastic as well. I was quite nervous leaving our Great Dane Bodie, but once I met Sheri, I had no doubt he was in the best hands! They definitely had their work cut out out for them because Bodie was the biggest baby and the first few days of his stay was rough. They really worked with him to help him adapt to his new surroundings and by around day 3, he was completely comfortable and started sleeping through the night. I am so thankful for her and her sweet teens for taking great care of Bodie while we enjoyed a vacation with family. Thank you Sheri!”

This was the second time Jocelyn watched my dog, and once again she was absolutely fantastic! She kept me updated throughout the stay with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dog had a little anxiety and some tummy issues while I was away, and she handled everything with patience, care, and great communication. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my dog's well-being and made sure she was comfortable every step of the way. I couldn't ask for a better sitter and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and compassionate. We will definitely be booking with her again if she'll have us!

We are so grateful we found Aubrey! Our Koji and Hana are used to constant company and are miserable when crated and left alone, that is NOT a worry you will not have with Aubrey! From the minute we stepped into her home on our Meet and Greet, we knew we had won the lottery :-) Aubrey welcomed the pups to enjoy the large comfy sectional and freedom to explore her lovely home! During our vacation week, we were sent many cheerful pics of our Koji & Hana enjoying their time away from us, which in turn allowed us to enjoy our week at the beach without all the guilt of leaving them behind! If you have the opportunity to book with Aubrey, we highly recommend doing so! You will not regret it! We are so happy to have made a new friend, one who loves our pups as much as we do! Aubrey is definitely a FIVE STAR dog sitter (we do not considered her a dog sitter, but rather a trusted fellow dog lover who will watch & love your pup as her own)

Caitlyn and Sam were absolutely phenomenal, I have nothing but the best things to say! This was our first time ever using Rover so we were a little nervous but it went so smoothly that we will absolutely use them again. They took the best care of our girl (who is still a bit of a puppy AND has some medical needs) and sent lots of pictures/updates. They are the BEST, highly highly recommend!!

Andrea and Ali have taken such amazing care of our two doodles! They treat them like family and truly love them as if they were their own. Andrea always does a wonderful job brushing out their coats, so they come back feeling soft and fresh. Ali would regularly send videos of him playing fetch with them — something our doodles absolutely love. Andrea and Ali set a standard for Rover sitters that far exceeds our expectations, and one I can't imagine ever being matched. We couldn't give a more heartfelt recommendation!

Our 2 senior dogs loved staying an extended weekend with Nuoya and her family! We did a meet and greet prior to booking to make sure all our dogs got along with each other. They asked a lot of important questions about schedules and needs. While we were gone we received pictures every day as well as any important updates. Our dogs received all of of the love and care I could have ever hoped for with a sitter. I can't recommend them enough!

Wonderful experience! It was our first time in leaving our dog with a pet sitter so we were worried, but Janeth was always in touch, sending us pictures and updates. She is a very professional and kind person. Special thanks for her being so flexible in our dog drop off and pick up (it was early in the morning). Definitely recommend Janeth to everyone who is looking for a person to trust your dog to.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
