About: I have had my own dogs since my early 20’s, and I’d probably have about ten more if I could. Everyone in our family has dogs, ranging from tiny Yorkipoos to big ol’ lab mixes, and I love them all! I currently have one rescue pup, Russell, who is 19 different breeds! I am patient, I don’t get grossed out easily, and I will love your pup like it’s a member of the family. My husband and I are both teachers, so we are home full-time during the summer with our two teenage kids. During the school year we work, but I’m usually home by 3:30. Our 13-year old daughter is interested in pursuing a career working with animals, so she will be assisting in the care of your pet. We have a large fenced yard and a dog-friendly house. We even have a doggie door for pups to come and go outside to the back yard as they need or want to. We have one 5-year old dog who gets along great with other pups. Usually when we dog sit, we have the visiting pup have a home base in our daughter’s room where they can be fed separately, have peace and quiet, and enjoy the best air conditioning in the house! We are a dogs on furniture house, and she even loves to let the dogs we are sitting sleep in her bed with her if they want. Your dog should expect many pets and snuggles at our house! If we are coming to your house, we will follow whatever routines and rules you’ve established for your pet. But still expect lots of love for your pet!

About: I’ve rescued/raised three dogs from about 2 months old, and fostered pups/kittens as well. I currently work as Foster Coordinator at a local humane society. I have access to good walking trails, and a dog park. I can keep your dog active with hikes and parks, or we can just chill. Whatever they need! I’m working part-time with a consistent schedule. About: I’ve watch dogs and cats for four years when needed, from a one time visit to 2 weeks of checking in three times daily. I’ve also handled turtles and fish in the same capacity. Am happy to clean out a litter box, take a dog on a walk, or do more. Any added bookings within 24 hours of the first check in, or during visits, is subject to an additional 16$ fee. Any bookings more than a 15 mile drive may be subjected to an additional one time 20$ fee! I’m a student full time and therefore am out of the house from around 9-2 most days but am otherwise available for your pet care needs. I love to spend some extra time at a clients home giving their animal more love and affection to ensure they don’t feel lonely or abandoned.

About: I’ve had dogs growing up and a lot of friends who have dogs. My roommates and I all love dogs and they would be in good care with us for however long needed. About: I have had pets my whole life and enjoy playing and socializing with them. I have walked other peoples dogs and taken care of friends and neighbors cats. I'm currently working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to take care of your pets needs. I have a very flexible schedule. And I can work around your needs. About: I have had at least one dog all of my life. Often times more than one. Currently living with just one Lab who would love a visitor/playmate. I foster emergency overnights on rescue transports. I have been a caregiver for dogs of all ages and kinds; puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with separation anxiety. I have grandcats I house sit for and have also taken care of chickens. I work from home with tons of flexibility. I have one adult child at home in graduate school, they have a health condition which keeps them home most days too, so your pet is never short of human companionship. I live in a great neighborhood for walks on a leash. I provide dog sitting in a one story home with a large, wooded fenced yard in central Richmond neighborhood. Great for dogs of all ages and abilities. I live with one Lab that's a large couch potato. He also likes his human to sit outside with him rather than be out there all by himself. So we spend lots of time outside together. Pets are permitted on furniture and the bed, whatever makes them feel at home. I do have a large dog crate that can be set up if needed, but only if requested as it will put your pet at ease. The most important factor is making sure your pet feels comfortable, keeping their routines and habits to lessen the stress of a new place.
