About: I worked as a pet care specialist at a pet resort and worked there for two years. I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I am used to giving medications, dealing with different breeds, feeding and walking as well as temperament levels. I have a dog of my own who is my world. I promise to treat your pet like they are my own and to be organized and caring when it comes to every aspect of taking care of your pet. I have been around all types of dogs and cats as well. I’m willing to take the time to learn about your pet and do whatever care they need in order to be comfortable and safe. I will always do my best at all times. I work full time during the week but am available for overnight stays during the week and weekends as needed. My work schedule is 8-5pm. While Petsitting in the clients home, I always make sure to be aware of my surroundings and others while out and about on walks as well as maintaining the safety of the clients home.

About: For much of my life, I have lived with pets. For the past 20 or so years being single and work travel has made that difficult. I have filled that void by caring for my friend's pets. It has been a huge benefit for them as well as myself. This is my attempt to formalize this as I am relatively new to Richmond. My schedule is my own and I can prioritize your pet as my priority with appropriate notice. My friends and clients have appreciated my flexibility. One aspect I love about pet sitting and walking is the walking portion. If appropriate, I love taking your dog on long walks in the wonderful public parks around Richmond.

About: My partner and I bring over 10 years of dog care experience and 5+ years managing a stable multi-dog group. We carefully watch body language, work to prevent issues early, and keep feeding routines steady so each dog feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for. We’re comfortable working with multi-dog households, different energy levels, and group dynamics. Our focus is creating a safe, structured, and positive environment where dogs can socialize, play, and settle comfortably. My specialty is organization and structure, my partner specializes in socialization and behavioral management. Pet care is part of our daily life. Someone is home throughout the day. We organize our schedule around the dogs in our care so they receive consistent supervision, play, and individual attention. We have a fenced backyard and fenced front yard, giving dogs safe space to move, explore, and play. Inside we provide a dedicated dog room and crates for dogs of all sizes, creating a comfortable and secure place for them to rest when needed. Dogs are thoughtfully grouped by temperament, with attention to proper rest rotation and consistent feeding routines to support balance and comfort. I love getting outside for walks and tend to walk 10k steps daily, so if you have an active dog, I’m your girl! I don’t currently have pets of my own, so I love getting to spend quality time with yours! My ultimate goal is for you to feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I work from home from 9am - 5pm, so I’ll be very available during the week. About: Hi there! I have 7 years of pet sitting experience along with taking care of my own animals throughout my life. I have the most experience with dogs, cats, and birds (though I’m no stranger to farm animals). I love being outdoors and staying active, so I’m always happy to go on walks, play outside, and keep pets engaged and comfortable. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and I always do my best to ensure that they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I work Monday-Thursday 7-5 which means that I am available before and after work and have open days Friday-Sunday. In some cases I’m able to be available during lunch time depending on the proximity of the pet to my workplace. I have a fenced in backyard and live right next to a track for plenty of running/walking time for your pet. I have a breadth of experience caring for my former pets and my home, as well as house and pet sitting for friends and for my clients. I grew up on a farm and cared for goats, horses, cows, dogs, cats, sheep, and poultry. I make an excellent house/petsitter due to my experience with and love for animals and my tidy and loving personality! ** I charge $45 / night for 1-6 night house stays, but have a sliding scale for longer sits (negotiable at the time of request). I am open to traveling farther distances for 1+ week sits. I am attending VCU for my MSW M-F from 8-4, so I have limited availability for midday potty breaks/check-ins during the week, but I have open availability most evenings and weekends. For boarding requests, my partner works from my home and is available to offer potty breaks/check-ins for pets while I’m at school. I’m happy with staying overnight for housesitting or sharing my home for boarding! I have the utmost care and respect for my clients pets and homes and treat them as if they were my own.
