I also keep fresh, clean water bowls available outside during playtime and outdoor time, so our pups always have easy access to water and can stay hydrated, especially during warmer days. I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions regarding feeding, medications, supplements, potty routines, sleeping arrangements, and any special needs or restrictions. I supervise interactions and take the time to understand each dog’s personality, behavior, and comfort level. Dogs are separated when needed for meals, rest, safety, or simply when they need their own personal space. I pay close attention to changes in appetite, energy, bathroom habits, or behavior and communicate with pet parents if I notice anything concerning. With over years of boarding experience, I understand how important it is to trust the people caring for your dog. About: I have previous experience working as a field manager for a professional pet care company where I have taken care of dozens of dogs/cats of all ages with many different routines/needs, I have my Pet First Aid and CPCR certification, and I currently have two young German Shepherd pups of my own! Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to care for their dogs and cats of all sizes while they travel or during emergencies. Everyone in our family has dogs, ranging from tiny Yorkipoos to big ol’ lab mixes, and I love them all! I currently have one rescue pup, Russell, who is 19 different breeds! My husband and I are both teachers, so we are home full-time during the summer with our two teenage kids. During the school year we work, but I’m usually home by 3:30. We even have a doggie door for pups to come and go outside to the back yard as they need or want to. We have one 5-year old dog who gets along great with other pups. Usually when we dog sit, we have the visiting pup have a home base in our daughter’s room where they can be fed separately, have peace and quiet, and enjoy the best air conditioning in the house! If we are coming to your house, we will follow whatever routines and rules you’ve established for your pet. But still expect lots of love for your pet!

I always encourage new clients to schedule a (free) 30-minute meet-and-greet before the first booking (either at your home or a public location) so that I can meet your pet(s). In my home, I provide a clean, secure, and welcoming environment where dogs can relax, play, and feel like part of the family. My home has a fully enclosed 6-foot vinyl privacy fence, giving our guests a secure outdoor space for supervised potty breaks, fresh air, exercise, and playtime. I also keep fresh, clean water bowls available outside during playtime and outdoor time, so our pups always have easy access to water and can stay hydrated, especially during warmer days. I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions regarding feeding, medications, supplements, potty routines, sleeping arrangements, and any special needs or restrictions. I supervise interactions and take the time to understand each dog’s personality, behavior, and comfort level. Dogs are separated when needed for meals, rest, safety, or simply when they need their own personal space. I pay close attention to changes in appetite, energy, bathroom habits, or behavior and communicate with pet parents if I notice anything concerning. With over years of boarding experience, I understand how important it is to trust the people caring for your dog. I treat every pup with patience, respect, affection, and individualized care, with the goal of making their stay feel safe, comfortable, and as close to home as possible. 🐾
