“This was the longest time I've been away from my pup and Michelle did another amazing job. He always looks like he's having the best time with Milo and I appreciate all the updates and pictures they send! So happy to have found a great sitter for my boy!”

“Kendra is amazing as always. I always feel comfortable and at ease when my dog is in her care. She provides quality care and consistent updates. I highly recommend her services.”

“Just the the test run, Damacia went above and beyond for the main event. Open communication, pics sent, and when we thought we would be caught in a flood and be a day late...no worries. Outside of family this is the only person I trust.”

“Sheri is amazing, amazing and even more amazing! She took care of my little pal just like I would. I received daily pics and updates and I can't say enough great things about her care. Thanks again for everything!”

“Jennifer was absolutely AMAZING with our girl!! She sent plenty of updates and pictures and made Birdie feel at home. Will definitely be reaching out to her again!”

“Riley took great care of my dog over the holidays! He got plenty of play time and snuggles. She sent plenty of pictures and videos to keep me updated. Will definitely book her again.”

“Matt is everything you want in a dog sitter! He provides consistent updates with the best pics, responds quickly, and most importantly treats your dog like one of his own! We use him whenever he’s available and highly recommend him.”

“This was the first time that I used this service. It was the longest my dog has ever been separated from me and he was on a strict diet, so I was extremely selective in choosing a sitter. I appreciated the daily photos and I think my dog was able to adjust well since he is used to humans being with him most of the day. It appears that he learned to get along better with dogs while he was there. The hosts were patient, considerate, flexible and very good with dogs and their parents. I will definitely use them again when I am in the area.”

“Elizabeth sent us plenty of updates and pictures during Moe’s stay. She communicated well beforehand, too, and scheduled a meet and greet so we could all make sure it was a good fit. Moe had a great time at her place and we would absolutely book with Elizabeth again!”

“Julie was absolutely wonderful, I highly recommend and am really grateful for her thoughtful care of my elderly pup! It was helpful knowing my dog was in good company and enjoying all the smells and sunny spots in her nice backyard.”

“Eric is the best! I recently had a sitter cancel 6 hours before drop-off -- I thought my vacation was ruined! I immediately put out a Sunday morning last-minute Rover requests for a sitter, with very low expectations that anyone would even respond, much less accept. Within a few minutes, Eric responded and then accepted. He totally saved my vacation! After that, he was extremely communicative, but even better, he was perfect for my highly energetic doggo. He gave long dauly walks and play sessions. I knew that my dog would love having his Bucky as a 24/7 playmate, but I was very concerned that he has cats, since Sheba had never seen a cat before. Since she has a high prey drive, I thought there could be serious problems. Eric, however, seems to have a natural understanding of pets, and he was able to safely introduce Sheba to his cats, and apparently there were no issues. Also, Eric was highly flexible when my return flight was delayed by a day, and quickly agreed to extend the stay. I couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish.”

“Shany did a great job taking care of Mocha. Even with the extreme heat and the fireworks over the 4th of July weekend, she went above and beyond to make Mocha feel comfortable. This was also a last-minute request, so she was a lifesaver!”

“Andreea took care of Susie for more than 2 weeks while we were out of the country. Susie is 14+ years old, a little blind, a little deaf. Andreea was very attentive to Susie and let us know that she had a digestive problem one time and an eye problem one time. Andreea bought eye drops and started giving them to Susie, after we talked with our vet. So we were very happy with how Andreea cared for Susie - thank you.”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
