About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats most of my life, including caring for a German Shepherd. I’m experienced with anxious and shy dogs. I’m comfortable with both large and small breeds and have experience with a range of personalities and energy levels. I treat every pet with the same patience, care, and attention I’d want for my own. I’m currently available evenings start ant 6:30pm and almost every weekend from 7am to 9pm. My availability will open up even more soon. I don’t have any pups or kitties living with me right now. I love going for long walks, playing with pups, and generally spoiling them. I can easily put your pets in crates if requested. Giving food, water and treats is something I’m happy to do! If your fur baby just needs a little company, I’d love to do that as well. I have many years of experience with fearful dogs who may be triggered by the sight of other dogs, people, animals, people on bikes, etc. They just need extra care and attention, but they’re still lovable. Medicine administration is also something I am comfortable doing. Lastly, I have experience with puppies/kittens all the way to senior pets.

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 12 years old, gaining hands on experience with both dogs and cats and learning how unique each animal’s needs and personalities can be. Pets have always been a huge part of my life and my family. Recently, I lost my dog/my constant companion of 16 years. Caring for other people’s pets is my way of honoring that love and bringing the same patience, respect and affection I gave to my own pet pets who deserve to have feel safe, happy and cared for. I am available during the weekdays and most weekends from 8 AM to 10 PM. I am retired and will have plenty of time to assist providing the love and care your pets deserve. Your pet safety is always my top priority, both in your home and on every walk. While caring for pets in your home, I’m attentive, calm and respectful of your routines and rules. I’ll make sure doors and gates are securely closed, food and medication’s are given exactly as instructed, and your pet feels comfortable in a familiar environment. I take time to observe behavior and body language so I can quickly spot stress, illness, or anything out of the ordinary. On walks, I use secure, leashes and harnesses, choose safe routes and stay fully focused on your pet at all times. I’m mindful of weather conditions, traffic and other animals and I adjust the pace and distance to match your pet’s age, energy level and needs. My goal is to provide safe, structured and enjoyable walks where your pets feel protected and cared for, just as I would my own.

About: Growing up, I have always found it easy and rewarding to take care of animals I have learned to be very attentive and receptive to the needs of furry friends and just find them to be such nice listeners in return 😂 We used to have a house full of dogs and cats and it was more a pleasure, than a chore, to get to interact and take care of them. All that to say, I am completely confident and comfortable in my ability to assist in any way when it comes to our four (or 1,2, and 3) legged pals! I just moved to the Richmond/Midlothian area so I’m looking for some good chances to earn some savings doing what I love!! I have pretty open availability! I don’t sit at my house only for the fact of my two French and English bulldog babies! They tend to get tense and wouldn’t want any discomfort for any other pet! I am very respectful to the needs of the client and their furry companions!!

About: I’ve had pets all my life, but I’ve also worked for 4 years in 2 different pet stores! I’ve worked as a dog bather, a pet care associate, and an aquatics specialist. I’ve also pet sit for my family and neighbors since 2010. I have pets of my own so pet care is a daily necessity. I’ll make sure to fit in as much care as I can in a day and won’t skimp out on your pet. I can care for your pet in whichever way you need me to. I don’t cut corners and I make sure the animals are cared for accordingly. If possible I’d even send photos to pet parents so they know how their pet is doing. They aren’t just pets, they’re family!

I am a college student home for the summer available 7 days a week! I have a job during the day from about 10am 4 pm, but can visit before and after and during the late nights. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was young while I was babysitting or when my neighbors were gone for the week. My official pet-sitting experience has been about 3 years. I had the responsibility of walking and playing with dogs, and if they had a cat I would make sure they get the love they need while their owner was out of town. I'm currently a college student, so I have classes during the day. My longest days are Tuesday-Thursday, but I'm done by the early afternoon. I have the availability to stop by for bathroom breaks. My schedule is very flexible besides my classes, so I can easily work with what you need. I can't have any additional pets in my home (due to living in an apartment), but I can come to your house when you need me. If you feel comfortable with it, I have done overnight stays to keep the pets company during the night. I love going on walks in the morning and late afternoon with the dogs I have pet-sat.

About: I’ve had experience with all kinds of pets since I was a child. From scales, to feathers, to fur. I’m a working veterinary professional who can administer medications and supportive care. I will always love and take care of your babies like they are my own I can always do weekend and weekday Petsitting. I work a full time job in Veterinary medicine during the week so afternoon drop ins during the weekdays are limited to 10-15 minutes I always follow the instructions left by my clients. I strive to maintain a clean and orderly environment while making sure your pets are safe and well taken care of. All pets with fenced in yards are typically allowed to roam in the safety of their yard as long as clients don’t have any restrictions in place. If a fenced secure space is not available, I always leash walk to maintain the safety of your pets *please note for walks. Due to the multiple safety hazards of retractable leashes, I require the use of a standard 6 foot leash. If you do not own one, I am able to provide this for the duration of the stay*

About: I have two cats and two dogs myself and have been dog sitting since 14 years old. I love going on walks and love to be able to take a buddy with me! I recently got a puppy who I have been training and could pass on my self taught skills onto your animal if wanted. I love animals which is why I chose to sign up on rover !
