About: I've always had a soft spot for the pets that need a little extra love. Over the years, I've adopted two rescue dogs and two rescue cats. One of my dogs was a deaf and partially blind senior who had been overlooked at the shelter, and caring for him taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to make an anxious or special-needs pet feel safe. Today I'm the proud cat mom to two tuxedo rescues, ages 14 and 6, who both have separation anxiety.
