“Nicole was just outstanding. I was notified when she got there, how the visit went and when Nicole left. She was kind enough to send photos for each visit. I will surely use Rover in the future and try to sign up Nicole since Coal was very fond of her.”

“My very particular boys give Colleen their seal of approval. She managed their occasional accidents and quirks, got in some quality ball fetching time, and gave me much appreciated peace of mind updates for every visit. Thank you!”

“Brian did a great job with our 2 dogs. Always on time, always providing feedback. My dogs love seeing the Brain and are well cared for. We use Brian all the time. Great job Brian!”

“Kristi is absolutely wonderful!! Our cats were well taken care of. Plus she also went above and beyond to help with a few issues that came up while we were out of state. We have definitely found a person we can trust to take care of our fur babies.”

“Katie is an exceptional animal caretaker. I highly recommend her services to anyone seeking proper care for their pets. We’ll definitely be using her services every time we can in the future.”

“Kiara took great care of our dog on a recent drop in visit. She had great communication and let us know when she was on her way. She sent a summary of the visit including 7 cute photos of my dog. We will definitely be booking in the future!”

“Hannah did a great job with our Millie. We were in Pigeon Forge for vacation & wanted to go to Dollywood. Hannah came to our cabin & let our doggie out so we didn't have to come back to let her out. I wish Hannah lived where we live because I would use her for sure regularly. We will be back to TN & will definitely use Hannah again.”

“Tom was a superstar with our newly adopted, very shy 6 month old puppy. We only had the pup 2 weeks when Tom agreed to help us with a “let out” for crate training. This was not an easy task as the pup was still adjusting to his new home. Tom had patience and understanding with our pup and we appreciated it more than he knows. Tom was trustworthy and very attentive to the needs of our pup. His communication was stellar as well. We highly recommend Tom!!!!”

“Julia was absolutely wonderful! We had her sitting for our very needy cat while we were away for 5 days with our dog. She was super accommodating to our cat’s quirks and our requests. We will definitely prevail on Julia’s services again to include having her look after our elderly dog - she was marvelous, caring and very thoughtful!”

“Amanda was fantastic—super attentive and clearly cared about our pup’s safety and happiness. She made sure to play with him and kept a close eye so he didn’t eat anything he shouldn’t in the yard. We’d absolutely book again!”

“Marcie was a great contact to come and feed and let our pups out to go potty. She worked around my booking mistake to fit it into her schedule and we are forever grateful for her ability and willingness to swerve at the last minute!!! We came home to our happy pups. I know they were taking care of while we were away. Thank you Marcie!!”

“Dana is seems to be very good with Keira. The dog is always happy in the pictures she sends. I think she does a great job. It was a big plus that she already knew how to use a gentle leader.”

“Cynthia did a fantastic job taking care of my cat! She made sure she always had water, a clean litter box, and a little play time. She updated me with each visit and gave a thorough report card to let me know how things were going. I would definitely recommend Cynthia as a cat sitter and book her for future trips.”

“Jeffrey is super reliable and responsive. We always feel comfortable heading out of town knowing our three kids are in the best of hands. They have a complicated feeding routine, and Jeffrey handles it like a pro!”

“Kristen was great! She saved our vacation and came and took care of our cat Rocky when the sitter we had booked canceled at 5 pm the night before. She gave Rocky lots of love and even recused my plants”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Woodlake
Nicole has petsit for us numerous times over the past few years. She is great! We highly recommend her. Nicole always arrives on time and follows any directions we leave in writing to properly care for our cats. She takes care of the necessities first and then spends plenty of time interacting with our otherwise shy guys who rarely take to anyone. It's nice to be away and know this is being done by a professional who cares about what she has been entrusted to do. Nicole also sends a short written summary of each visit and pictures. Nicole responds quickly to any initial request for a booking or communication during our trips. We also appreciate that she will grab our mail and bring in any packages. Book Nicole, schedule a meet and great as we are certain you will be equally pleased with her work!

April was absolutely amazing. This was our first time leaving our cat for a short vacation so we were very nervous to leave him. April really was amazing and did wonderful with him. And he loved her!!! She is very easy to work with and her love for animals really shows. We got daily photo updates which was awesome!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodlake. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
