“Hannah did a great job with our Millie. We were in Pigeon Forge for vacation & wanted to go to Dollywood. Hannah came to our cabin & let our doggie out so we didn't have to come back to let her out. I wish Hannah lived where we live because I would use her for sure regularly. We will be back to TN & will definitely use Hannah again.”

“Julia is fantastic… she’s won over our shy cat and taken super care of our large senior dog. She is prompt and goes the extra mile. We really appreciate her services!”

“Nicole has sat for us on numerous occasions . She is always on time, thorough and attentive to our cats. We appreciate her honoring any requests and specific directions we ask of her and her post-visit notes and pictures are great to see. Our cats enjoy her visits and we thoroughly trust her!”

“Kiera took amazing care of my punk. She walked her and fed. Punk was so happy and calm when I got home. I really appreciated the updates and photos too. Definitely recommend!”

About: My previous experience in pet care includes employment at Holiday Barn Pet Resorts as a pet care associate, volunteering at Richmond Animal League, and pet sitting for a wide variety of animals. Pet sitting for pets around my neighborhood was my first job! Growing up with pets of my own my whole life has also allowed me to become accustomed to caring for animals of all different sizes, ages, and temperaments. As a college student on summer break, I am opening my schedule up through mid-August and plan to fill my days/weeks with pet care services! Help me keep busy :) I am currently offering walks, drop ins, and/or overnight services, and I have experience with caring for pets in others’ homes. As of right now I am unable to provide boarding services.
“Laura continues to be an amazing sitter! This must be the 4th time now and more to come. My senior cat is always a happy boy when she comes to visit and I know he is in great hands with her when I am away. I look forward to booking with her again!”

“Kaylee was available last minute and took such great care of my dog Oakley. He seemed to really enjoy her company and she took lots of cute pics and gave me updates along the way. Highly recommend!”

“Brian did a drop in visit for our teenage golden retriever, Ranger! From the meet-and-greet through the actual visit, Brian has been super communicative! He was also very reassuring, as I was clearly worried Ranger would decide to be a teenage menace and give him a hard time. He sent photos and a nice overview of his visit. Would definitely use again!”

About: Growing up my family always had at least one or more pets of various breeds so I have 20+ years of experience around animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, lizards, rabbits, goats, and hedgehogs. Personally, my husband & I have 2 dogs currently, 9 & 10 years old, one having epilepsy & is dependent on medication. I have helped raise/care for/train puppies, kittens, baby rabbits, & baby goats. The only pet I'm not comfortable with is snakes, my little sister has one but I only look at it from 3ft away in its enclosure, haha. I work part time Tu/W/Th 8A - 5P, I do not mind caring for pets those days, however I will be gone all day. Otherwise, I'm available for your pets needs! My personal routine with my pets: My husband helps me care for our pets daily but his schedule is a bit different than mine, so our dogs are let out at least within 4-6 hours those days. Otherwise, we let them out every 2-4 depending on their needs (which they have been trained to lets us know if they need to go sooner). Our medical dog is on a 12 hr medication schedule. I'd prefer to care in my clients home due to one of my dogs having a reactive past, it was quite a transition when we inherited our other dog. If you have a specific routine, I'm ready to follow it to the T! I'm comfortable walking dogs on leash, hanging out/playing with them in a fenced yard, or just chilling inside. As mentioned, I have experience with medically dependent pets. I have an escape artist, so I'm always vigilant of their proximity to me and prepared to run/chase in the event something happens. I can stay at the home with the pets or I can visit throughout the day!
“Our pet sitter moved away unexpectedly and we needed to find a new one, and came across Christina. She's great! She came by before the specified dates and we walked her through everything. And then with the visits, she came every day promptly, took amazing care of our cats, and also let us know in real-time if she had any questions. The cats LOVED her, even our difficult one. They love her so much that when we came home, the cats were not attention starved. They were normal, which is exactly what we want when we're away from home. We already have Christina booked for another trip and will keep using her in the future!”

“Katie is an exceptional animal caretaker. I highly recommend her services to anyone seeking proper care for their pets. We’ll definitely be using her services every time we can in the future.”

“Tom was a superstar with our newly adopted, very shy 6 month old puppy. We only had the pup 2 weeks when Tom agreed to help us with a “let out” for crate training. This was not an easy task as the pup was still adjusting to his new home. Tom had patience and understanding with our pup and we appreciated it more than he knows. Tom was trustworthy and very attentive to the needs of our pup. His communication was stellar as well. We highly recommend Tom!!!!”

“We had a long trip and Lara took care of our two cats. Our kitties can be shy sometimes but Lara won them over and they were obviously happy with her company and care, we certainly were. Our home was all spit shine when we returned. Thankyou so much Lara.”

About: I grew up in our farm owning & taking care of all kinds of animals. Fostered cats/dogs with Humane Societies in different states before we finally settled after military life. Growing up on a farm surrounded by animals, I’ve developed strong intuition to sense pets' unique needs; if they are feeling sick, anxious, etc. I can follow with your pet’s medical needs/routine. I’m home all day except for quick errands hence pets under my care get lots of human interactions, cuddles & play time. Frequent potty breaks. I believe in holistic lifestyle hence I use pet friendly; no harsh chemical cleaning supplies. Hygiene is super important to me. Old habits from my hospital volunteering days + I’m a clean freak as per my family 😆 I'm a homemaker. I enjoy taking care of my indoor plants, garden, and our mini goldendoodle Hazel. I'm home majority of the day; hence your fur babies will get to have lots of cuddles, love, and playtime in our big fenced in yard. We have lovely, clean & spacious home; hence pups get to have a lot of space/freedom to roam. Or retrieve if they want some space. No choking hazard toys. I love taking pictures, videos & update with your precious pooch. You can FaceTime your pets if it’s extended stay or as per need. I love making pets stay as comfortable as possible & giving peace of mind to owners. As a pet owner myself, I know how much small things matter! I've a huge fenced in yard, Hazel, our super friendly mini golden doodle would give a company to any dog & make them feel comfortable. Lots of play, cuddles & free to roam. However, I've an ability to gate off the rooms if it's needed, or as per request. I live near the lake & take my dog to daily AM/PM walks. As a pet owner, I know the anxiety of trying to find a safe home to fur babies, someone who'd love/care for them as their own.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me. I love spending time with animals, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I understand how important pets are to their families, and I always treat them like my own. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy giving animals the attention, exercise, and love they need. I’m home for the summer as a college student, so I have a pretty flexible schedule for pet care. While I’ll also be working a part-time job, I’ll still have plenty of time throughout the week to give pets attention, walks, playtime, and care. I’m organized and dependable, and I’ll make sure your pet’s needs fit into my daily routine and schedule. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their normal routine as closely as possible so the pet feels comfortable and stress-free. I pay attention to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions the owner provides. I always make sure pets are safe, supervised, and given plenty of attention and care while their owners are away. I also respect the client’s home by keeping things clean, organized, and secure.

About: Growing up, I have always found it easy and rewarding to take care of animals I have learned to be very attentive and receptive to the needs of furry friends and just find them to be such nice listeners in return 😂 We used to have a house full of dogs and cats and it was more a pleasure, than a chore, to get to interact and take care of them. All that to say, I am completely confident and comfortable in my ability to assist in any way when it comes to our four (or 1,2, and 3) legged pals! I just moved to the Richmond/Midlothian area so I’m looking for some good chances to earn some savings doing what I love!! I have pretty open availability! I don’t sit at my house only for the fact of my two French and English bulldog babies! They tend to get tense and wouldn’t want any discomfort for any other pet! I am very respectful to the needs of the client and their furry companions!!
Woodlake cat parents share their Rover experiences
Nicole was absolutely phenomenal with our pets. It’s clear she loves cats and is very knowledgeable in how to care for them. She even brought over a toy she thought they would like (she was right), and now we’re going to get them the same one 😆. She went above & beyond, was very professional, and her updates always made us smile. Thank you again, and we look forward to booking again in the future!

April was absolutely amazing. This was our first time leaving our cat for a short vacation so we were very nervous to leave him. April really was amazing and did wonderful with him. And he loved her!!! She is very easy to work with and her love for animals really shows. We got daily photo updates which was awesome!

We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! Our 12-year-old mini Aussie and cat were both so happy and well cared for when we got home, and she even won over our grumpy old lady cat for daily cuddles. She sent lots of photo updates each visit, which was such a comfort while we were away, especially with the time difference. She also made things so easy by keeping our mail and packages neatly organized for us. We’re so grateful for the care she gave our pets and will definitely be booking her again!
