Very good communication and no issues. Bentley loved her and we'll definitely use Peyton again in the future.”

“Tom was a superstar with our newly adopted, very shy 6 month old puppy. We only had the pup 2 weeks when Tom agreed to help us with a “let out” for crate training. This was not an easy task as the pup was still adjusting to his new home. Tom had patience and understanding with our pup and we appreciated it more than he knows. Tom was trustworthy and very attentive to the needs of our pup. His communication was stellar as well. We highly recommend Tom!!!!”

“Kiara did an amazing job caring for my young energetic cat! She provided extremely thorough reports and photos and was very professional in our communications. I would recommend Kiara and definitely hire her again!”

“Caitlyn jumped in when our previous dog sitter had to cancel last minute. She made the process very easy and took a lot of the stress worrying about our pup before our trip. She communicated quickly and gave great updates! Highly recommend.”

About: With 9 years of pet-sitting experience, I specialize in caring for pets of all ages, breeds, and personalities. From playful puppies to senior cats, to high-energy dogs, I’ve seen it all and love providing personalized care for each furry friend. Whether it’s daily walks, administering medication, or simply offering companionship, I treat every pet like family, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and comfortable in your absence. Let me give you peace of mind knowing your pets are in trusted, experienced hands. I am currently on break from school, so my schedule is open and flexible to work with yours! I currently walk a sweet lemon beagle named bug at 10 am and 2 pm on weekdays, but can easily work around those times to show up for your babies! I have had almost all of my experience taking care of pets in their families homes, with my priority being keeping the home as safe and cared for as the pets themselves! I’m big on cleanliness, so rest assured I’ll leave your house tidy and secure.
“Brian did a great job with our 2 dogs. Always on time, always providing feedback. My dogs love seeing the Brain and are well cared for. We use Brian all the time. Great job Brian!”

“Cassy was fantastic! She gave my dogs so much attention and sent me lots of pictures at each visit. I knew they were being well taken care of. I highly recommend her, and of course would have her take care of my dogs again.”

“Katie is an exceptional animal caretaker. I highly recommend her services to anyone seeking proper care for their pets. We’ll definitely be using her services every time we can in the future.”

“I reached out to Julia rather last minute for help with checking in on my two kitties while I was away on a trip. She was very flexible with the last minute accommodations which was awesome. She was punctual and professional! She sent lots of pictures and kept me updated on her check-ins. One of my cats needed some medication and Julia was happy to help with that. Going on a trip can be stressful worrying about your fur children, but Julia was great and I didn’t have any doubts that she was taking good care of them.”

“Kristy was great with our cats. This was our first time booking a pet sitter we didn’t know personally and it turned out well. We will definitely contact Kristy again should we need someone to check-in on our cats while we’re away. She made the entire process easy and she was very flexible and responsive.”

“We felt very reassured leaving for so long knowing that Eileen and her husband Rick were there for our kits. We rarely if ever get to vacation together since it is a hassle with some of the kits having separate food/feeding schedules due to medical issues. Eileen and Rick have incredibly positive and caring attitudes and are very conscientious. They were great communicators while we were in the middle of an ocean with notes on and photos of the sometimes-elusive clowder of cats! We highly recommend and would love to rebook with them again in the future!”

“Took care of our Duke and made sure to be patient with both of us! We had to do this last min and I am greatful we did Hannah was fantastic and answered each message quickly and politely each time while we decided what we needed and could do. And the price was very reasonable.”

About: Hello everyone! I have been pet sitting on and off for over 10 years. I started pet sitting for neighbors and friends when I was 14 and continued throughout highschool and college. Based on my own availability, I can provide day check-ins , walks, overnights, medications, and specific/special dietary needs. I work as a dental assistant and am currently taking classes to go to hygiene school. I would love to be trusted to watch your pet for you, I love animals, which is the reason I began pet sitting in the first place. I currently work as a dental assistant and am also taking classes to go to dental hygiene school in the near future. I work full time, however I have one day off every week, never work weekends, and my bosses are very easy to work with when it comes to the work schedule. I always follow the instructions given to me by the owners, and don’t stray away from those guidelines. I do walks when needed, and also spend a little bit of time with the animals to keep them company while their parents are away. I will cuddle with any pet that wants, but also give space for the ones that don’t. I’m very big on paying attention and reading an animals energy in order to make sure they are happy and comfortable, and also making sure all parties will be safe in the process as well.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Brandermill
Fran was so awesome! We will definitely ask her to take care of our babies again. She was communicative and respectful of our space, and it was clear that she cared about our cats very much (and our plants!!). We loved all the updates and pics while we were gone and it felt like we could truly enjoy our trip away. Thanks Fran!

Lauren did an amazing job taking care of my cat, Luna Laruen was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure he was happy and comfortable while I was away. Laruen sent me pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind and made it easy to see that Pluto was doing great. When I got home, he was relaxed, happy, and well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive pet sitter. I would definitely book again and plan to do so!

April was absolutely amazing. This was our first time leaving our cat for a short vacation so we were very nervous to leave him. April really was amazing and did wonderful with him. And he loved her!!! She is very easy to work with and her love for animals really shows. We got daily photo updates which was awesome!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brandermill. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
