Although I was a little nervous about the idea of someone I don’t know in my house, Kiara worked out perfectly! She kept in regular contact with pictures of Roscoe and what they were doing. She took great care of him, gave his meds as requested, and was a great companion for him during my absence for 5 nights. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was young while I was babysitting or when my neighbors were gone for the week. My official pet-sitting experience has been about 3 years. I had the responsibility of walking and playing with dogs, and if they had a cat I would make sure they get the love they need while their owner was out of town. I'm currently a college student, so I have classes during the day. My longest days are Tuesday-Thursday, but I'm done by the early afternoon. I have the availability to stop by for bathroom breaks. My schedule is very flexible besides my classes, so I can easily work with what you need. I can't have any additional pets in my home (due to living in an apartment), but I can come to your house when you need me. If you feel comfortable with it, I have done overnight stays to keep the pets company during the night. I love going on walks in the morning and late afternoon with the dogs I have pet-sat.

About: Growing up my family always had at least one or more pets of various breeds so I have 20+ years of experience around animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, lizards, rabbits, goats, and hedgehogs. Personally, my husband & I have 2 dogs currently, 9 & 10 years old, one having epilepsy & is dependent on medication. I have helped raise/care for/train puppies, kittens, baby rabbits, & baby goats. The only pet I'm not comfortable with is snakes, my little sister has one but I only look at it from 3ft away in its enclosure, haha. I work part time Tu/W/Th 8A - 5P, I do not mind caring for pets those days, however I will be gone all day. Otherwise, I'm available for your pets needs! My personal routine with my pets: My husband helps me care for our pets daily but his schedule is a bit different than mine, so our dogs are let out at least within 4-6 hours those days. Otherwise, we let them out every 2-4 depending on their needs (which they have been trained to lets us know if they need to go sooner). Our medical dog is on a 12 hr medication schedule. I'd prefer to care in my clients home due to one of my dogs having a reactive past, it was quite a transition when we inherited our other dog. If you have a specific routine, I'm ready to follow it to the T! I'm comfortable walking dogs on leash, hanging out/playing with them in a fenced yard, or just chilling inside. As mentioned, I have experience with medically dependent pets. I have an escape artist, so I'm always vigilant of their proximity to me and prepared to run/chase in the event something happens. I can stay at the home with the pets or I can visit throughout the day!

She not only cared for MMO’s medical needs but provided emotional support for him in my absence. She sent pictures and conducted a River video chat with me to ensure not only Momo’s emotional support but for mine as well. I felt confident my beloved pet was in good hands.”

About: Growing up, I have always found it easy and rewarding to take care of animals I have learned to be very attentive and receptive to the needs of furry friends and just find them to be such nice listeners in return 😂 We used to have a house full of dogs and cats and it was more a pleasure, than a chore, to get to interact and take care of them. All that to say, I am completely confident and comfortable in my ability to assist in any way when it comes to our four (or 1,2, and 3) legged pals! I just moved to the Richmond/Midlothian area so I’m looking for some good chances to earn some savings doing what I love!! I have pretty open availability! I don’t sit at my house only for the fact of my two French and English bulldog babies! They tend to get tense and wouldn’t want any discomfort for any other pet! I am very respectful to the needs of the client and their furry companions!!
