I supervise interactions and take the time to understand each dog’s personality, behavior, and comfort level. Dogs are separated when needed for meals, rest, safety, or simply when they need their own personal space. I pay close attention to changes in appetite, energy, bathroom habits, or behavior and communicate with pet parents if I notice anything concerning. About: I have had my own dogs since my early 20’s, and I’d probably have about ten more if I could. Everyone in our family has dogs, ranging from tiny Yorkipoos to big ol’ lab mixes, and I love them all! I currently have one rescue pup, Russell, who is 19 different breeds! I am patient, I don’t get grossed out easily, and I will love your pup like it’s a member of the family. My husband and I are both teachers, so we are home full-time during the summer with our two teenage kids. During the school year we work, but I’m usually home by 3:30. Our 13-year old daughter is interested in pursuing a career working with animals, so she will be assisting in the care of your pet. We have a large fenced yard and a dog-friendly house. We even have a doggie door for pups to come and go outside to the back yard as they need or want to. We have one 5-year old dog who gets along great with other pups. Usually when we dog sit, we have the visiting pup have a home base in our daughter’s room where they can be fed separately, have peace and quiet, and enjoy the best air conditioning in the house! We are a dogs on furniture house, and she even loves to let the dogs we are sitting sleep in her bed with her if they want. Your dog should expect many pets and snuggles at our house! About: I’ve always had dogs and cats since I was a kiddo. Currently we have two spoiled dogs and two sweet cats. I take my two dogs on a mile or two walk every day. I started my own pet sitting business in my 20’s after working for a small pet company. I also was working FT with adults with disabilities. About: I have loved animals my entire life and have had more than one family pet from the day I was born. I worked in veterinary care for a good bit of time, and I have been trusted by many families to care for their animals while they were away on trips. I am comfortable giving medicine, working on obedience, and giving more snuggles than your pup will know what to do with. My husband works from home 3-4 days a week, so your dog would have many opportunities to go outside and to be loved on. I am available Monday through Friday for lunch time check-ins and potty breaks, and I'm available for walks after 5pm Monday through Friday. We could also accommodate over-night boarding any day of the week, as long as we do not have a previously scheduled weekend away. While I do not have a fenced in yard, our family loves to be outside and take walks as much as possible through out the day. We also have our energetic 5 year old dog, Maverick, to keep your dog company through out the day and engage in play. We have ample space in our home for a crate. Our daughter also loves to throw the ball and makes sure her puppy feels loved all the time.

About: I’ve been watching neighborhood and family pets since I was 13, both cats and dogs, elderly and young. I know when to give attention or whether to give them space. Hey! You can also call me Jaxon (he/him.) I’m auditioning for local theatres in Richmond, so my schedule is rather flexible. Weekends and weekdays are currently open, with room for rehearsals and show dates. I’d cater to whatever the pet needs. Some animals like to explore, so I’d supervise as they do so. Others are more reclusive, so I’d keep watch from a respectful distance.

About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and love to be around all animals! I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! I have a Jack Russell (that just passed away) myself that I had for about 10+ years and no kids do she was my only fur baby! I have recently in the past year gotten a brand new puppy named Sugar! She is a beagle/terrier/lab mix and 25 pounds of Adorableness! She is so sweet And absolutely my little girl, as she follows me everywhere and tries to be wherever I am, and always under foot!!! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week so my availability will always be changing. But,I will try to keep my Rover calendar up-to-date as I hope more of you reach out! The plan is is turn this into a full-time gig so I will have probably more availability as time goes on towards the end of this year, but I’m hoping to find some regular clients that will book with me on a consistent basis! About: I grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania and really enjoy all the animals. That said, my favorite animals are dogs and they love me. I'm excited and honored to get to know your special fur baby! I got my Teddy, a Cockapoo, as an 8 week old puppy right before Covid and I crate trained him. He's real good with other dogs but he's not a big player. I work full time, so I’m available after work on Friday through Sunday. Time frame Friday at 6 pm onward through Sunday evening. I enjoy walking and I would be able to provide plenty of walks in the community or we can visit the dog park about 1/2 mile down the street. I could brush hair and wash face each day that I have your fur baby. I would care for your dog in my home. I can easily section off rooms by closing doors because my main living space is large. I can crate your dog if you desire and if he is comfortable. The outdoor deck is enjoyable because it's shady and another space to look around. Also feeding and providing water and stretching out and resting.

Am happy to clean out a litter box, take a dog on a walk, or do more. Any added bookings within 24 hours of the first check in, or during visits, is subject to an additional 16$ fee. Any bookings more than a 15 mile drive may be subjected to an additional one time 20$ fee! I’m a student full time and therefore am out of the house from around 9-2 most days but am otherwise available for your pet care needs. I love to spend some extra time at a clients home giving their animal more love and affection to ensure they don’t feel lonely or abandoned.
About: I have personal experience helping to train and walking reactive smaller dogs who need a confident and kind leader. I will be attending a PhD program in Clinical Psychology starting this fall and know the importance of catering to each soul individually whether it is a person or pet. I also have experience with older dogs who struggle with neurological issues know how important it is to ensure that the owner as well as the pet have piece of mind in their pet care. A simple one I play with my sisters miniature schnauzer is putting his food under paper plates on top of a towel and he has to figure out how to access his food and he loves it! I always think a simple game after a walk is such a great way to tire them out on multiple levels!

I have a fenced in yard and live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of walking trails. I’m a high school teacher so I’m able to be home during the summer and school holidays. My routine includes a morning, afternoon and an evening walk after dinner. The fenced backyard provides opportunities for exercise outside of walks. I follow your pets normal feeding schedule and will only provide the food and treats that you provide to avoid any allergy or food intolerance concerns. On school days, my husband is typically working from home so there is usually someone home without long periods of being left home alone. Pets are cared for as part of the family and receive lots of love and attention.
