I am a full-time dog walker and pet sitter, and I own/operate my own company, Furever Young Pet Care, in Midlothian. I have extensive experience with anxious pets, and I utilize different techniques to help comfort them and gain their trust. I'm also certified in Pet CPR/First Aid! Since I'm individually insured and bonded, you can rest assured that your pets will be in great hands with me! What to expect for weekly walks: * Walks average one mile total, but distance varies greatly based on energy level, desire to sniff, and weather * If weather does not permit us to walk, we will do a potty break outside and then play indoors —dogs will be thoroughly dried off if they get wet *In the warmer months, cooling vests are provided to keep dogs cool so that they can enjoy their walks in comfort! We may need to shorten walks due to extreme heat. * Updates after each walk, including: photos, notes, and a GPS map of our walk * Packages left at the door or on porch will be brought in * Water is refilled prior to my departure What to expect while you’re away: * Photos and thorough notes after each appointment * Walks based on their normal schedule, at no additional cost * Medication administration at no additional cost, oral or injection * Accidents and messes cleaned up as they happen * Your pets will get fresh water every morning, or more frequently per your request * If we walk in the rain, dogs will be towel dried thoroughly * If we cannot walk due to weather conditions, we will play indoors and do dog puzzles to give them mental stimulation * Paws wiped after walks if wet or snowy outside, using my own towel * Bringing in mail and packages daily * All food and water bowls will be washed on the last visit, with my own sponge and towel to avoid using yours I am happy to accommodate any special requests, as I know that almost everyone has at least one. I'm a pet owner myself and completely understand that each pet has different needs! I make sure to clean up as well as wash food and water bowls at the end of each pet sitting booking, so that you don’t have to worry about any of that when you return home! I always have carpet cleaner and urine removal spray on hand, so I’m always prepared in case of any accidents. **Please note that 60 min appointments are based upon availability, as my schedule does not always permit the time.**
