My older sweet girl (Shephard mix) can be timid and nervous, especially around other dogs. They both took to Paula instantly and came home safe, smiling, and exhausted from all the exercise they had between Paula's backyard setup and their pack of playmates. Paula is a great communicator, and sent plenty of pictures and updates so that I never had to worry about how they were doing. This stay allowed me to travel to my daughter on very short notice, and I will be reaching out to Paula first for any travel or boarding needs in the future.”

“This was my first time leaving Tucker (2-yr old, intact Rhodesian Ridgeback) with Collen and we couldn't be happier with the way she kept and cared for him. Colleen had the perfect setup, large fenced-in back yard and 2 young pups for Tucker to play with :). I keep a tracking collar on Tucker and I could see that Colleen was walking him several miles a day - which was awesome! He's a big dog and needs daily exercise. I received updates and photos every day and that Tucker was feeling comfortable there with Colleen and her family. Tucker did not lose any weight and showed no signs of anxiety/stress when we picked him up and acted/behaved the same way (good) that we left him. About: I've been a cat lover for as long as I can remember, having grown up with cats and spending most of my life caring for them. In 2015, I adopted my first tuxedo cat from the local SPCA because I wanted a companion in my new apartment. A few years later, I decided she deserved a companion too, so I adopted another tuxedo kitten from a rescue in North Carolina. Despite looking alike, they couldn't have more different personalities. My 18-pound boy is a lovable, goofy giant who doesn't know how big he is. Every night he waits in my bed to cuddle with me, while my tiny 4-pound senior girl is independent, opinionated, and happily reminds him who's in charge. Mail will be picked up, plants watered, lights will be switched on and off, trash rolled to the curb, and any house issues that arise can be addressed. “I can't say enough great things about both of my pups experience w/ Paula. I was so nervous leaving my Jack w/ anyone, as he is quite the bundle of energy. My older sweet girl (Shephard mix) can be timid and nervous, especially around other dogs. They both took to Paula instantly and came home safe, smiling, and exhausted from all the exercise they had between Paula's backyard setup and their pack of playmates. Paula is a great communicator, and sent plenty of pictures and updates so that I never had to worry about how they were doing. This stay allowed me to travel to my daughter on very short notice, and I will be reaching out to Paula first for any travel or boarding needs in the future.”

“This was my first time leaving Tucker (2-yr old, intact Rhodesian Ridgeback) with Collen and we couldn't be happier with the way she kept and cared for him. Colleen had the perfect setup, large fenced-in back yard and 2 young pups for Tucker to play with :). I keep a tracking collar on Tucker and I could see that Colleen was walking him several miles a day - which was awesome! He's a big dog and needs daily exercise. I received updates and photos every day and that Tucker was feeling comfortable there with Colleen and her family. Tucker did not lose any weight and showed no signs of anxiety/stress when we picked him up and acted/behaved the same way (good) that we left him. I hope to use Colleen as a sitter in the future, and highly recommend her! Thank you Colleen!!!”

“Adam was great with Poppy. He’s a gentle soul who clearly loves animals. However, when his kids were there overnight, we learned that Poppy isn’t comfortable with younger kids. Adam made it work for the brief period the kids were around Poppy, but it’s not realistic to need to separate young kids in the home and the visiting dog. Sadly we’re still looking for a sitter.”
