“I can’t recommend Adriana enough! She took care of my cats for 4 days and truly went above and beyond in every way. From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely cares for animals, my kitties Momo and Mimi felt right at home with her. She made sure they were well fed, kept the litter box spotless, and spent quality time playing and cuddling with them, it was clear they were happy, relaxed, and comfortable the whole time. Adriana was also super responsive and kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. She’s kind, reliable, and just an all-around wonderful person and sitter. I’m so grateful to have found someone I trust completely with my fur babies. I’ll definitely be booking Adriana again, my cats can’t wait to see her next time! 🐱❤️”

“Excellent sitter, clearly cared for the boys beyond the requirements. He got an inconsistent eater to eat, cleaned up after one that micturated on a rug, and even played music for them. The one that's generally friendly loved him, and the one that's generally unfriendly tolerated him right off the bat which is impressive.”

“Maddie is great. The dogs warmed up to her quickly! She was super accommodating and very patient went all my odd request. Definitely would book her again!”

About: I've taken care of dogs for 35+ years. My dogs have lived to 16-17 years, so I am familiar with pill schedules and tailored meal plans. I moved for work and secured dog-friendly housing (we're a package deal). Currently, we go on daily walks and outdoor adventures. I have safe spaces so the dog can "take a break", but snuggles are always available. My daily routine ensures your dog will go for a walk every day. Your dog's walks will include time to sniff and explore. I will respect your dog's wish/desire to be pet and cuddled. For example, my dog's morning routine includes nose to tail body rubs and a kiss on top of the head. However, that's the end of "snuggling, petting, cuddling" for the day. :-D I have a fenced yard for my dog that he has access to when needs it. He has his crate that he uses for naps or just to hang out in a comfy spot.

“Maya is great with Rosie! She is prompt, reliable, and does an excellent job caring for our lovey little girl while we are working. Definitely recommend Maya for your doggie sitting needs!”

“Jie is absolutely fantastic in every way - Sage loved her, as did we!”

About: A large grassy area in front of the house on a cul de sad, several dog beds, dog-friendly neighborhood walks,...ideal for a fun pet overnight stay. I do not currently have my own dog but sometimes may take 2 dogs at one time. I study massage and dog psychology. Dogs who love touch or massages will get plenty of attention. It is a house with a yard, not an apartment. The yard is not completely fenced, so I use a leash 100% of the time until I know the dog very well, since there are sometimes birds and squirrels making appearances. Dogs spend a lot of time outside with me, weather permitting. Your dog will not spend time outside alone because it's just more fun to be together. About this sitter: I raised two Scottish Terrier litter-mates from puppy-hood and have cared for dogs and cats in their homes, dogs in my home for months at a time, and I enjoy walking dogs. I am soft-spoken and very patient. Shy, or sensitive/scared pets often feel comfortable around me pretty quickly. Pets should have joy in their lives so I enjoy giving them extra attention to help alleviate some of the stress when their owners are away. For overnight care at a clients' home, I like to stay as light and self-contained as possible. I'm in this for the love of pets and like to leave as little a footprint as possible! Experience includes: dog owner, cat owner, dog sitting for over 15 different dogs and 4 different cats (up to 6 dogs simultaneously or combo of 2 dogs/2 cats who were housemates). Why I love dog sitting: I made my first dog friend when I was 6 years old. Lalli was a seeing-eye school drop out and the sweetest dog I'd ever met. My aunt already had 2 cats that I loved by that point. I ended up helping a senior dog get past her separation anxiety and she and her folks gained more freedom. About my yard: Large grassy area in front of the house. Dog park nearby with well behaved friendly neighborhood dog regulars. My experience administering oral medication: I have done it and I will do it if a pet is not a biter or scratcher. I cared for 2 dogs during their hospice. I am open to doing that, at least to help provide respite for the primary caretakers. I am free to spend time with your dogs and/or house sit anytime except Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8am to 7pm. Dogs that stay overnight with me will have a day sitter and dog company during the day. I am willing to accept stays longer than one week but we must discuss first to see if my system works for your animals. I live in a very walkable neighborhood with a park nearby and a large grassy area. I have an afternoon sunning deck, and plan potty breaks every 2-3 hours. Mini-massages and indoor play breaks are available throughout the day between dog naps.

“Elissa was a fantastic sitter to our two labrador retrievers. She took them on walks twice a day, along with feeding them, and cleaning up after them. The daily updates were super helpful too! I would recommend her to dog sit and most definitely will be using her again. Thank you!”

“Angie took excellent care of my cat while I was away for a week. He warmed up to her instantly, and she became his new best friend. She sent lots of pictures and had great communication with me before and during the visits. Will definitely book again!”

About: Over the years, I’ve been so blessed to share my life with two incredible dogs. They weren’t just pets—they were my family. I was with them every step of the way, through their happiest moments and their final days. Losing them was heartbreaking, but their unconditional love left a mark on my soul that I carry with me every day. Not long after, life brought me another little soul to care for—a neighbor’s sick cat who needed a home. We faced some of the toughest times together during his illness, but against all odds, he pulled through and became my brave little hero. He’s taught me that love, patience, and a little extra care can work wonders. These experiences have shaped who I am. Pets have this incredible way of teaching us unconditional love, and they ask for so little in return. That’s why I’m here. Recently, I stepped away from my career to take a break, reflect, and focus on what brings me joy. Joining Rover felt like the perfect way to meet more furry friends and their wonderful humans. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a shy cat, or a senior pet in need of extra care, I’m here to provide the same love and devotion I’ve given to my own. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies and make them feel right at home—even when you’re not there. I’m currently enjoying a gap year, which gives me plenty of free time and flexibility to dedicate to taking care of your pets with full attention and care. I provide reliable drop-in visits to feed, care for, and check on your pets in the comfort of their own home. I ensure they feel safe, happy, and well-loved while you’re away, and I always follow your specific care instructions to the letter.

About: I grew up helping my grandma walk her dogs, and more recently, I supported my host family in caring for several dogs—feeding, walking, and keeping them company. I’ve learned how to read their body language, respect their boundaries, and keep them safe and happy. I’m patient, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I'm mostly available on weekends and can also do evening check-ins if you're away for multiple days. I'm flexible and communicative—feel free to reach out to schedule! Since my apartment doesn’t allow pets, I’m not able to host them in my home. I provide care at your home or nearby for walks. I always prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine, and I make sure to respect your space just like I would my own.

“Excellent sitter, clearly cared for the boys beyond the requirements. He got an inconsistent eater to eat, cleaned up after one that micturated on a rug, and even played music for them. The one that's generally friendly loved him, and the one that's generally unfriendly tolerated him right off the bat which is impressive.”

susan p.
“Susan always included my dogs in "the pack". She'd stop in and feed my dogs when I realized I was running late, and vice-versa. Her dogs had birthday parties for milestone" birthdays- she found the recipe for dog-friendly "cake". I remember when she moved - the time she spent vetting possible apartments and prepping her pups for the flight. She'd make the long trip back to her family by car because it was easier on the dogs (and she knew they were cared for). Susan is definitely a "dog person". You won't regret hiring her.”

Maya G.

“Maya is great with Rosie! She is prompt, reliable, and does an excellent job caring for our lovey little girl while we are working. Definitely recommend Maya for your doggie sitting needs!”

Jennifer F.
“Jennifer is truly a gem. She has come through for me on many occasions when I needed a last minute dog-sitter and whenever I pick up my dog afterwards he always seems to have had at least as much fun as I did on my trip. When Ozzie stays with Jen, he always gets tons of attention. They go on long walks, trips to the dog park and sometimes even the beach (with prior permission from me, of course). In short Jen treats my pup with as much love and attention as if he were her own. I cannot recommend her highly enough. [My name is Ozzie and I approve this message. woof woof!]”

“Anitha’s a pet-care wizard! She was so responsive with all my questions. Also, my doggy thinks she’s the queen of treats. The other day we saw her on the way to the park and he tried to go with her! Loyalty to the treats I suppose. But yeah, you can rest easy if you decide to go with Anita.”

“Orchid is an animal lover through and through. She has taken care of my cat multiple times with tender love and care, sending photos of playtime, as well as given my cat medicine patiently when he came to old age. Orchid has also taken in a cat herself with special needs, nursing him to health and giving him a loving forever home with understanding to his unique health care. Orchid is highly recommended as a pet sitter for anyone as she takes time to understand the pet and their personality. She’s thoughtful, responsible, and trustworthy.”
