About: Hey! I’m Mel, a lifelong lover of floofs and poofs! I was a dog lover first, however, the cat distribution system found me as a kid and I started cat rescue as a young teen. In recent years, I have volunteered with Feline Good Social Club in Long Beach and also as foster parent for CAAT Friends in Pacific Palisades. Through my rescue initiative, Kanines n Klawz, I've rescued, socialized, and found loving homes for several cats, enriching their lives and those of their adoptive families. I am also experienced in providing care for multiple dogs while their primary caretakers are away, including duties like walks, play, feeding , medical and emergency care. I have also have had the pleasure of living with three dogs (former roommates) whose care I was involved in (walks, training, feeding). In addition to walks, drop ins and house sits in your home, I also offer boarding and day care in my home for one family at a time and I do not have any pets of my own. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience caring for several other animals. Some others include turtles, rabbits, parakeets and hamsters. I love all animals and would be happy to care for any others not listed here. My nursing background assists me to skillfully manage medical conditions in cats and dogs. My attentiveness and understanding of animal behavior, along with my caring and empathetic approach enable me to connect with animals on a profound level. I would love to spend time with your animal companions, enriching their lives and ensuring their care and safety is my top priority. 🐾 please note I offer day care and boarding for one family at a time. If you prefer, I can provide daytime or overnight care at your home where your babies feel most safe 🐾 Presently my schedule is flexible and I have immediate availability to care for your animal companions any day of the week and on a reoccurring basis as desired. I am transitioning out of full time nursing to prioritize expanding my pet care services. Just as I do with my human patients, I provide care based on the individual needs of your animal companions. About: Hi, I'm Abby! I've been an animal lover my whole life, and I've been taking care of pets in various settings (in-home, daycare, boarding, dog-walking) for more than ten years. I specialize in multiple-pet households, but whether you have one pet or five, rest assured they'll each receive the best care possible. I'm extremely detailed (I love a comprehensive info sheet!), and I ask the right questions up front, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are in good hands. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time and energy to devote to your pets. I prefer to work weekdays, Monday-Friday, but I am also available for longer in-home stays over the weekend with enough notice. I take your pet's health and safety very seriously, which is why I make sure I understand not only what their immediate needs are (food, water, exercise, enrichment), but also what potential stressors might be (loud noises, other animals, etc.). I gather as much information as I can up front, so I can anticipate your pet's needs as they arise. Knowing where the cleaning materials, trash, emergency numbers, and security items (crate, leash, carrier) are in your home gives ME peace of mind and makes my job that much easier. Once I have all the info I need, while you're gone, I can check back in with you as much or as little as you prefer -- I'm happy to send updates throughout the day, or I'm just as happy to take care of things myself and provide a summary when you return. Either way, I make sure both you and your pet(s) enjoy your time away!

About: I have pet sat for the last 4 years in Humboldt County California and in Costa Rica. I was able to get my name out there on my own for pet sitting because I was referred to by other people that I pet sat for. So almost every week in Humboldt I had pet sitting going on, but I enjoy being around pets and making them feel happy and cozy. I am very trustworthy and organized. I am working a part time job at a restaurant 2 nights a week, so I have an open and flexible schedule. I am also living somewhere where I can get from place to place easily. About: My father was a compassionate man who taught me the love for animals, he always picked up sick animals on the street, he healed them and found them a home at home we grew up with dogs cats and birds I had my Labrador for 10 years and I also took care of other animals dogs and cats in my family I work part time, so I can take care of animals during some days of the week and some nights, I always enjoy my time with the petsBy I live in an apartment, but it is a safe place for your pet and I can walk your pet around the neighborhood and take them to play and go to the bathroom

About: I’ve raised animals all my life. I grew up on a farm, where we cared for cattle, chickens, and had plenty of cats and dogs. I have two senior pets now and have raised them from puppy/kittenhood. I have experience on house training puppies as well as light obedience training. My schedule is currently wide open! I am looking for full time employment, so things will eventually change. I will update things when the time comes! I’m happy to give pets medications and lots of cuddles and play time. I can send in regular updates, if requested. I’m good for short walks or long walks!
