About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They had grandkids to see and wanted to explore as many different countries as they could. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.

About: I have always had a huge love for dogs and have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities! I volunteer as a trainer with 4 Paws for Ability, where I have fostered, trained, and served as the primary handler for three dogs. My weekends are also very flexible, allowing me to spend even more quality time with your pup and accommodate longer stays. About: I’ve causally pet sit for my friends plenty of times and I am very comfortable taking care of dogs. I would love to be your pets bestie:) Right as of this moment I’m working part time so most of my shifts are 5hrs. Either 10-3 or 3-8pm. I will try to spend as much time as possible with your pet. About: Hi, I’m Esther! I’m a college student who has been on Rover for over two years. Most of my experience is with younger dogs but I love taking care of seniors too. I currently don’t have any pups so I pet-sit to stay active and continue being around animals. I am a student with a lot of mid day and weekend availability. I’m very flexible, especially on holidays and during school breaks. I have a lot of experience house sitting as well and I love overnight visits. When leaving your pets with me, they’ll be treated as my own. I believe in open and transparent communication so I’ll provide lots of updates. I have skills in leash training, crate training, and grooming. I would love to keep your pet company! About: I’ve had and take care of dogs of all sizes, ages, temperaments, and different health conditions my entire life. I am knowledgeable and proficient at giving medications (both oral and injection) to both dogs and cats. Enjoying walks myself, I am patient for a variety of types of dogs. I currently work mostly remotely as a freelance photographer, so my schedule is very flexible. The only day and time that I have consistently unavailable is Tuesday 11:30-4:30. Every other day and time is available. I am capable of crating your dog(s) and can take very long walks if need be, no matter what weather there is—rain, snow, or shine.

About: I have been around pets my whole life, but dogs are my favorite! I love them all, from puppies to the senior friends. I regularly care for my family dogs and I have experience caring for friends dogs and I have several regular clients. I have experience with puppy care and training, bathing, feeding, and administering medication. I also have experience with senior dog care nearing the end of life and all others in between. I have no trouble creating the special bond needed with most dog personalities. Dogs are truly our best friends! I play and exercise my own dogs daily. About: I’m a certified volunteer handler for service dogs in training at 4 Paws for Ability. Sitters and handlers are trained to train, care for, and accumulate soon to be service dog puppies. I also have have experience as an overnight pet sitter for dogs of all sizes and backgrounds. I am comfortable with any breed and do well with pets suffering from anxiety. I just moved to Lexington to start my PhD program at UK and am excited to get to know the area. A lot of my work and research is done outside of class so little time will be spent away from your pups! It’s totally normal for your pet to get the puppy blues without you there. Some things I do that has often helped ease this anxiety is being available for around the clock care, doing some soothing activities like mat licking, and lots of belly scratches!

About: I have grown up with dogs and puppies my whole life. I take my pets to get groomed and to their vet appointments, make them fun treats, walk them, and make sure their needs are fully met. My dogs have grown up kennel trained so I know how important it is to make the kennel a positive space. I also understand that giving dogs human food can make their stomachs upset and keeping them on their regular diet is imperative. I am currently a student at UK and only have classes on Tuesday and Thursday. My Wednesdays are full with shadowing at Bluegrass Orthopedics. My Mondays, Fridays, and weekends are free typically. I am not allowed to to have dogs in my home because I currently rent. I am willing to drive them places though. I am willing to bring them to my house for short periods of time under certain circumstances.

About: - There has never been a point in my life where I did not have a dog and a cat as a pet, so I have been surrounded by them for as long as I can remember. - I moved out of my parents house and now I don’t have a dog of my own. I honestly just need to be around some dogs because they just make me so happy. I have work during the day, but am available after 5pm and all day on the weekends. I can stop by before work, during my lunch, and anytime after I get off.
