About: Hi, I'm Brooke! I'm a recent UofL grad and love meeting new furry friends! I grew up with both cats and dogs, and began caring for neighbors’ pets at 10 years old. Since then, I’ve had years of experience with house sitting, daily walks, and drop-in visits for neighbors and family friends, often working through word of mouth and personal recommendations. I’ve worked as both a stay-in pet sitter and a weekly dog walker, and I love making sure animals feel safe, loved, and well-cared for. I have experience caring for puppies, kittens, high-energy animals, and senior pets with special needs, and am comfortable adapting to a wide range of temperaments and energy levels. What sets me apart is my reliability, communication, and attention to care when it comes to treating animals with the patience, love, and respect they need.🩷 I am currently on my gap year between undergraduate and medical school, so pet care will be my full time job! I am able to stay the majority of the day at client's homes if needed, but may need to step out for an hour or two to get food and/or groceries for my stay. Feel free to discuss your pet's schedule with me, and we can figure out a plan that works for everyone! I always try to meet with the family before sitting or dropping-in so that I understand how any pets are used to their home feeling. I will follow all instructions left by the owners, and try to keep a loving and clean environment for the animals. I also try to be very communicative with owners about any questions or concerns, and will gladly provide daily pictures/videos of animals to the owners. I also love playing with animals and making sure they get enough activity so they can get some fresh air and love! Additionally, I am a pre-medical student and have many hours of emergency experience with basic life support (BLS) and have taken a veterinary BLS course. I know how to administer CPR and perform the Heimlich maneuver on cats and dogs. I also have experience administering injected medication and subcutaneous fluids to cats and dogs. (I do not have experience administering care to additional animals at this time.) I also look up the closest veterinary ER prior to a stay, and am prepared to drive any animals in case of an emergency.

About: I am very responsible and careful and I also adore pets and I love taking care of them. I am very well educated on pet care and behavior, as it is a topic that I care about a lot. I have had a large dog for around 5 years and have trained and taken care of him since he was about 3 months old. I have a lot of experience with anxious pups. I have a very flexible schedule as I am a college student on summer break, so I have plenty of time that I would love to give to your pets! I will do my best to give your pets the care they need at any time. Safety is my first priority and I will take all precautions necessary in order to keep your animals and home secure and healthy.

About: I grew up with three dogs, so taking care of pets has always been a part of my life. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, whether it’s spending time with dogs, visiting cat cafés, or stopping by the humane society to hang out with the animals there. I’m patient, dependable, and I’ll make sure your pets get the attention, care, and love they deserve while you’re away. Have also house and plant sat for people over the years and always enjoyed helping out. I work full time, so I have a consistent routine and know how to manage my time well. I’m available before and after work, on my days off, and can work with pet owners to make sure their pets stay on their normal schedule. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to giving every pet the care and attention they deserve. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. In a client’s home, I respect their space, keep doors secured, follow feeding and medication instructions carefully, and provide plenty of attention, exercise, and fresh water. I also like to send updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away.

About: I have taken care of dogs for over 10 years and have vast experience in walking, feeding, administering medications, etc. I even started volunteering at a pet store at the age of 8 and stayed there for many years! I’m working part time so I have quite a lot of time on my hands to give your pups the right amount of attention they need. I have a fenced in yard with a lot of grass that is very dog friendly. I also have two of the sweetest most playful doodles to keep your dog company!!

About: been around animals my whole life, wanting to work with them any way I can! Love getting to meet the different personalities through these animals! I currently work at a dog daycare/ training facility. I also have a dog, two cats and a horse or my own! I take care of my own animals every day, I have a dog, ollie, and two cats kitty and simba. Ollie loved taking walks so I understand how important it is to take your dogs on walks, they get so excited it’s always so cute! I have three pets, they are all pretty friendly to other animals. My cats normally just stay away from new animals if I pet sit yours at my own home. My dog is friendly with other dogs, he loves to play so he would like a friend that’s also a dog. I have a fenced in patio that I can take animals out to, and there is a grassy area right outside the gate to take them out to use the bathroom.

About: I’ve had pets for most of my life. I’ve had a cat for the last 8 years and I have had a dog for almost 2 years. I have experience giving cats and dogs medication as well as cleaning up after them. I love using Rover and wanted to return the favor. I work full time but I work from home two days a week and I’m available most weekends. I also tend to be available during some holidays. I have a puppy who loves new friends and is good with every dog he has met so far. I have a park right behind my house so it is easy to give your dog some exercise. If I’m in your home I’ll be sure to stick to your rules.

About: I’ve causally pet sit for my friends plenty of times and I am very comfortable taking care of dogs. I would love to be your pets bestie:) Right as of this moment I’m working part time so most of my shifts are 5hrs. Either 10-3 or 3-8pm. I will try to spend as much time as possible with your pet.
