About: I’ve owned multiple disabled dogs and can care for them. I’m also experienced in giving medicine to animals that may need it. grew up around a lot of different animals and I love spending time with new animals and seeing all the different dog and cat breeds. 😁 I stay at home and my schedule is very flexible, so the fur babies will get plenty of attention and love! They will always have me with them for some company and play time. I can take care of pets in any way that their pet owner would like. About: We came across the Cavapoo breed as our loving Rottweiler was on his journey to his “better place”. We chose the Cavapoo breed as our furry rainbow puppy to help us all with the tough loss. Fast fwd 5 years, and WOW, still can’t believe the journey that was created for us. Dog breeding, training, boarding and grooming just the way I would want my pups taken care of…in a home. Our setup is ready for all stages of dogs and of course, personalities. This is a small family business and we make pet care fit seamlessly into our lives. We’re a party of 4 and all hands are always on deck. 4:00 am wake up call during the week and 6:00 am on weekends. Caring for pets in our home can consist of taking your pets normal routine that’s already established and following it. Help keep your animal on a schedule of food timing to crate or bedroom boarding. We live in a neighborhood with a 6 foot privacy fenced in back yard. A 3,000 gallon Koi pond surrounded by 800 square feet of deck. Nice plush outdoor furniture for the dogs to lounge next to the pond after a drink. We have also built a 200 square foot doggie palace on our property. Full electricity with heating/air and additional ceiling fan. Great for rainy days or dogs who are lone rangers and/or feisty.

I was nervous about going leaving for 10 days (with no phone reception) thinking that even if a sitter came to look in on them, the kitties would hide and essentially get no interaction while I was gone. After reading a bunch of profiles, I found Julie and her experience gave me hope that she could be a good fit with some shy fur babies, but she ended up exceeding any expectations that I had! I appreciated that she came and met with us beforehand so that the kitties could get a feel for her and I was shocked to see that on the first day of her 30 minute visits, Julie was able to coax them all out of hiding for a photo! This literally does not happen with other people and I'm still convinced she is magic :) Also loved reading the report cards each day of the progress the kitties were making with her and how more and more comfortable they were becoming. It really was a testament to me of how good she is with animals! I came home to clean litterboxes, full water and food dishes, a stack of mail on my table, and 3 incredibly happy kitties that, truth be told, almost seemed disappointed it was me instead of Julie. About: My family has had dogs since before I was born. We have had labs, mutts, pitbulls, and any other breed the humane society found for us. We are a family of foster fails, but have so much love for our furry found family. “Brent is a good person and a great dog sitter. Maple and Mozzie's (Brent's dog) first meeting went great. They played very well together. The day we dropped off Maple at Brent's home, he and his wife were very friendly and inviting with us and our dog Maple. They explained everything involved with Maple's stay and activities in their home. He kept us updated with pictures and texts. I would definitely recommend Brent and Rover to other pet owners.”
“Ann was great with my little dog. She was easy to communicate with and answered my questions quickly. I was surprised to see Ann had 2 large dogs of her own. That’s on me, I should have asked if she had large dogs. I got really nervous about leaving Scruffy because his back has been injured a couple of times by larger dogs. Ann was very reassuring and took good care of Scruffy. She also sent lots of photos to help easy my mind. I will be using Ann again.”

Andy understands dogs, has an appreciation for the variety of normal dog behavior, and really does love dogs. His daughter also really loves dogs. Although I found Andy through Rover, a mutual friend confirmed that he’s a dog lover and would trust him with her dogs. Knowing that we had mutual friends was literally an answer to prayer. I would definitely trust this family with Nate again.”

About: I’ve owned multiple disabled dogs and can care for them. I’m also experienced in giving medicine to animals that may need it. grew up around a lot of different animals and I love spending time with new animals and seeing all the different dog and cat breeds. 😁 I stay at home and my schedule is very flexible, so the fur babies will get plenty of attention and love! They will always have me with them for some company and play time. I can take care of pets in any way that their pet owner would like. I don’t have many rules and would just like for the fur babies to be comfortable in the new environment!

He usually has a rough time at boarders when he’s in a crate and won’t eat,drink etc. Kelsey went above and beyond to make sure my big guy was taken care of and comfortable. He went on walks,car rides and even had a heated mattress cover on him.he is worn out.i would use her again and advise anyone to use her. She will go above and beyond to make sure your pets are comfortable.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. Throughout my childhood I’ve had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, parrots and fish in all stages of life. I’ve learned to cater to every need because of this, as every pet needs something specific to their age, size and personality. I can handle pets of all sizes and energy levels, and will treat each just as I would one of my own. I’m a full-time college student home for Summer break, and I have a very open schedule that I would love to fill surrounded by fur babies. I’d like to make pet sitting my full-time job for the season, so I have lots of flexibility and availability. I have a large fully fenced in back yard and live in close proximity to a dog park. I currently have one of my own super friendly dogs at home, and I have plenty of space to welcome yours, and/or separate them comfortably if needed for whatever reason.

About: I have always had dogs and loved them! I have pet sat anything from dogs to donkeys. I am ok with potty training, as I taught my own puppy!! short drop ins, long hours, overnight, I’ll do it all. I would love to help out your family💙 I have a very flexible schedule with class, and am available during the workday (and overnight)!! I can drop in to let the pooch out, or stay and let them get some energy out:) I am a great rule follower! If you have special instructions I will be sure to follow them closely. About: My family has had dogs since before I was born. We have had labs, mutts, pitbulls, and any other breed the humane society found for us. We are a family of foster fails, but have so much love for our furry found family. One of our pitbulls at home is a certified therapy dog thanks to countless hours my sister spent at trainings (and I happened to also attend because she needed a ride). I am also lucky enough to have a personal dog-trainer on call if needed, and I have had my fair share of experiences with giving dogs any medications they may need. I am excited to give your pet the love and attention they deserve while you get the time off that you deserve. I have dog-sat for puppy and senior St. Bernard’s as well as sheep dogs, little dogs, and every dog in-between. I am unemployed, so I have plenty of hours in the day to care for your furry friend. I just graduated college with a bachelors in Biology, and am taking a gap year before starting up vet school. When I am not pet-sitting, I am volunteering at Lexington humane society. So my schedule is flexible and I am more than happy to work around what you and your pet need. I have a fenced back yard that I like to let the dogs play in. I’ll usually take the dogs on a walk in the morning and then the evening. In between, if the dog is up to it, we’ll spend some time outside maybe throwing a ball or favorite toy. I usually ask that the owner gets a list together for their dog’s daily schedule, so I can keep the dog’s life as normal and comfortable as possible. The list I ask for usually includes what time meals are, when the dogs go out, how often you want them exercising, what meds are needed, how long you’ll need me, etc. It all just depends on what you as the owner are looking for.
