I’m also experienced in giving medicine to animals that may need it. grew up around a lot of different animals and I love spending time with new animals and seeing all the different dog and cat breeds. 😁 I stay at home and my schedule is very flexible, so the fur babies will get plenty of attention and love! We’re a party of 4 and all hands are always on deck. 4:00 am wake up call during the week and 6:00 am on weekends. Caring for pets in our home can consist of taking your pets normal routine that’s already established and following it. Help keep your animal on a schedule of food timing to crate or bedroom boarding. We live in a neighborhood with a 6 foot privacy fenced in back yard. A 3,000 gallon Koi pond surrounded by 800 square feet of deck. Nice plush outdoor furniture for the dogs to lounge next to the pond after a drink. We have also built a 200 square foot doggie palace on our property. Full electricity with heating/air and additional ceiling fan. Great for rainy days or dogs who are lone rangers and/or feisty.

“Julie was absolutely paws-down AMAZING! I have 8-month old kittens that were abandoned by their mum when they were about 5 weeks old so they're very shy around other humans. I was nervous about going leaving for 10 days (with no phone reception) thinking that even if a sitter came to look in on them, the kitties would hide and essentially get no interaction while I was gone. After reading a bunch of profiles, I found Julie and her experience gave me hope that she could be a good fit with some shy fur babies, but she ended up exceeding any expectations that I had! I appreciated that she came and met with us beforehand so that the kitties could get a feel for her and I was shocked to see that on the first day of her 30 minute visits, Julie was able to coax them all out of hiding for a photo! This literally does not happen with other people and I'm still convinced she is magic :) Also loved reading the report cards each day of the progress the kitties were making with her and how more and more comfortable they were becoming. It really was a testament to me of how good she is with animals! I came home to clean litterboxes, full water and food dishes, a stack of mail on my table, and 3 incredibly happy kitties that, truth be told, almost seemed disappointed it was me instead of Julie. It was as if I hadn't even been gone, which, for a first-timer like me, was a dream come true! About: My family has had dogs since before I was born. We have had labs, mutts, pitbulls, and any other breed the humane society found for us. We are a family of foster fails, but have so much love for our furry found family. So my schedule is flexible and I am more than happy to work around what you and your pet need. I have a fenced back yard that I like to let the dogs play in. I’ll usually take the dogs on a walk in the morning and then the evening. In between, if the dog is up to it, we’ll spend some time outside maybe throwing a ball or favorite toy. I usually ask that the owner gets a list together for their dog’s daily schedule, so I can keep the dog’s life as normal and comfortable as possible. The list I ask for usually includes what time meals are, when the dogs go out, how often you want them exercising, what meds are needed, how long you’ll need me, etc. It all just depends on what you as the owner are looking for.

Before care begins, I like to understand your pet’s routine, preferences, triggers, and any medical or behavioral needs. • Overnight stays: Maintain normal schedule, walks, feedings, playtime, and companionship. • Drop-ins: Bathroom breaks, feeding, fresh water, enrichment/play, and safety check of the home. • Walks: Safe leash handling, appropriate exercise, and attention to weather and surroundings. Clear communication is important to me, so I provide updates and photos during each visit.

About: I’ve owned multiple disabled dogs and can care for them. I’m also experienced in giving medicine to animals that may need it. grew up around a lot of different animals and I love spending time with new animals and seeing all the different dog and cat breeds. 😁 I stay at home and my schedule is very flexible, so the fur babies will get plenty of attention and love! They will always have me with them for some company and play time. I can take care of pets in any way that their pet owner would like. I don’t have many rules and would just like for the fur babies to be comfortable in the new environment!

About: I have always had dogs and loved them! I have pet sat anything from dogs to donkeys. I am ok with potty training, as I taught my own puppy!! short drop ins, long hours, overnight, I’ll do it all. About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They had grandkids to see and wanted to explore as many different countries as they could. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. Throughout my childhood I’ve had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, parrots and fish in all stages of life. I’ve learned to cater to every need because of this, as every pet needs something specific to their age, size and personality. I can handle pets of all sizes and energy levels, and will treat each just as I would one of my own. I’m a full-time college student home for Summer break, and I have a very open schedule that I would love to fill surrounded by fur babies. I’d like to make pet sitting my full-time job for the season, so I have lots of flexibility and availability. I have a large fully fenced in back yard and live in close proximity to a dog park. I currently have one of my own super friendly dogs at home, and I have plenty of space to welcome yours, and/or separate them comfortably if needed for whatever reason.
