About: I have been doing drop-in pet sitting since I was 10 years old. I also worked at a Collie breeding facility for two years. I now own my own dog and have trained her and cared for her for 7 years. I have the ability to teach agility as well as basic obedience (sit, lay down, heel, roll over, etc). I am extremely active and love going on walks or runs with pets, but am happy to sit and offer belly rubs too! I am free to take care of your pet wherever and whenever you like, within reason. Unfortunately I cannot have pets at my house. Your dog's happiness and health is of the utmost importance. I am different from other sitters in that I possess extensive dog experience, patience, and an extreme love for animals. I am currently available most days to spend time with your pet. I was also a receptionist and am a vet technician at a local vet clinic and can use my knowledge in the event of an emergency. I fit it in around work and having my own dog. I typically spend a moderate amount of time with your pet, with the ability to conduct check ins as needed. I used to be a part time vet tech so I am very knowledgeable about many different clinical signs of pain or distress as well as any maladies your dog could have.

About: Hi! I’m a 19 year old college student at The University of Kentucky who absolutely loves dogs and would be so happy to help take care of yours! I have two dogs of my own that are my best friends and I treat them as family. I’ve helped friends and family take care of their dogs my whole life! I already love walking and having a buddy to bring with me would be amazing! I currently live in an apartment but there’s plenty of grass to walk around on and i’m very open to going to dog parks, a trail, or anywhere they would want to go! For anyone interested in boarding, your dog is welcome to go on any furniture and cuddle with me in my bed if they’re allowed! I will treat your dogs as if they were my own and i’m excited to hear from you! I am a college student and do have classes but i’m totally available any day and time besides 1pm-4pm Tuesdays-Thursdays! I can walk your dog multiple times a day if needed around those times! About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They had grandkids to see and wanted to explore as many different countries as they could. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.

We set aside time to play with our dogs and take them for walks and hikes. I have a fully-fenced backyard secured with 6 ft privacy fencing. I am confident in reading dog body language and behavior and have no problem stepping in to allow breaks in play time. Our dogs are very friendly with others and are fully vaccinated, and we welcome other vaccinated dogs with regular disinfection between client pups.

For the last 3 years, I have been the sitter of choice for my friends and family looking for pet care while out of town. About: I have been around pets my whole life, but dogs are my favorite! I love them all, from puppies to the senior friends. I regularly care for my family dogs and I have experience caring for friends dogs and I have several regular clients. I have experience with puppy care and training, bathing, feeding, and administering medication. I also have experience with senior dog care nearing the end of life and all others in between. I have no trouble creating the special bond needed with most dog personalities. Dogs are truly our best friends! I play and exercise my own dogs daily. I love my cat so much and I would give your dog the same amount of care and love :) I am a college student and have class in the morning. On Wednesday and Fridays my day ends around 3:30 but the other days end between 10-12. Preferred to go into the client's home since I have pets myself. If you have specific requests for your animal, I try to abide by that as best as possible. With dogs, I prefer to always keep them on a leash outside if there is no fenced yard.

About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by pets of all kinds! I was the neighborhood pet-sitter, and helped care my own families dogs and cats. While in college I worked with a program to train service animals. I’ve had my own dogs for four years now, and have extensive experience caring for giant breeds, rare breeds, and sick animals. I’ve taken care of diabetic cats, pregnant dogs, newborn puppies, and heart-worm positive dogs. I have no issues caring for senior or sick dogs, and I have no breed prejudices. I do live in an apartment without a fenced yard but I regularly take my dogs out on leash to the large back yard, and take them on long walks daily. I have crates for a giant breed, and for a small dog, and can crate your pets at night or leave them loose. Pets are allowed on furniture.
About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 9 years old, from 2 month old puppies to senior dogs, and taking care of them has been the best part of my day! I like to focus on mental stimulation as well as physical with dogs so they have a sound mind and body. I’m familiar with crate training, and puppy care, including a solid understanding of training the basics. I’m used to energetic and fast-paced dogs but I love my older and more mellow dogs as well! I’ve pet sat my fair share of cats and feel comfortable with them too. My Australian shepherd and I just moved out to Lexington recently, but I’m excited to offer my services now including recurring dog walking :) let me know if you have any questions for me! I am a flight student so that is my biggest time commitment which is 4 hours 3-4x a week. I know my schedule far out and can adjust my other responsibilities such as coursework and caring for my own dog and any other that may be in my care. I am never gone for too long and making sure the dogs are doing well is a priority that’s extremely important to me. If there is a yard, that will be utilized to the fullest, but I will take full advantage of what the neighborhood has to offer for fun walks/providing sufficient daily stimulation for the dog. I’m always respectful of the home and the routine the dog had prior to their person being gone. I’m super communicative, especially if things happen that are out of the ordinary, but also when things are normal so you’ll won’t have to wonder too much how your baby is doing!
