About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. Throughout my childhood I’ve had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, parrots and fish in all stages of life. I’ve learned to cater to every need because of this, as every pet needs something specific to their age, size and personality. I can handle pets of all sizes and energy levels, and will treat each just as I would one of my own. I’m a full-time college student home for Summer break, and I have a very open schedule that I would love to fill surrounded by fur babies. I’d like to make pet sitting my full-time job for the season, so I have lots of flexibility and availability. I have a large fully fenced in back yard and live in close proximity to a dog park. I currently have one of my own super friendly dogs at home, and I have plenty of space to welcome yours, and/or separate them comfortably if needed for whatever reason.

About: Hi, I'm Brooke! I'm a recent UofL grad and love meeting new kitty friends! I grew up with cats in my home, and always had neighborhood kitties coming by the house to say hello! I began cat sitting for my neighbors at 10 years old, and since then I’ve done numerous of drop-in visits and full time house-sitting for clients. I love getting to know each kitty I take care of and learning their different personalities! One thing that sets me apart is my effort in making sure you and your cats feel comfortable while you're away from home. I love taking pictures of each kitty I sit for, as well as making sure to follow all instructions so you can feel at ease while you're away. I love playing with energetic kitties, but am just as understanding if they are shy and need a gentle approach! I always make sure their environment stays clean and comfortable, which includes making sure their litter boxes are clean and tidying up any messes around the house. I always love meeting new kitty faces, and would love to be your cats next friend!
“Brooke was an incredibly friendly, responsible and responsive sitter! She made sure my cat Miller was well taken care of and relaxed as possible while getting used to a stranger. When Miller was hesitant to take medication, Brooke helped troubleshoot different delivery methods to make sure he got what he needed. And it worked! My cat was happy and chill when we got home which is a sign of a great visit and sitter. We’d absolutely use Brooke’s services again!”

“Ashtin and Jenison took wonderful care of my cat Milo for a week. They sent me daily updates and photos and arranged to have him in his own room away from their cats as Milo gets anxious around other cats. I will definitely use their services again!”

“Really appreciative of Sara! Our first time having a Rover for our cat, and he loved her instantly. She was very communicative the whole time, and over a holiday, no less. I hope she can be our cat’s regular sitter!”

“Addelynn was great watching my cats, and would definitely recommend her! Super easy communication to schedule and coordinate keys with her. She took care of both my cats & sent updates and photos for my peace of mind while I was away. It seems like she already became close friends with my cat Ricky who was purring in her lap after only 2 visits, which makes having to be away even easier <3”

“Julie did a great job taking care of my cats while I was out of town. She gave great updates and took time to play with them. Everything was in good order when I returned home, and the cats seemed well taken care of. I would highly recommend Julie!”

About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They had grandkids to see and wanted to explore as many different countries as they could. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.
About: After experiencing the tragic loss of my own cats due to a negligent pet sitter, I became deeply committed to providing the highest level of care for all animals. That experience taught me how vital it is to entrust pets to someone who not only understands their needs but treats them like family. I specialize in senior pet care, offering compassionate support for aging pets, including administering medications, managing health conditions, and providing gentle, tailored exercise routines. I also have experience training puppies, helping them develop good behaviors early on and ensuring they have the structure they need to thrive. My focus is always on building trust and creating a safe, loving environment for your pets, so they feel comfortable and secure when you're away. Above all, I aim to offer peace of mind to pet owners, knowing their animals are in caring, responsible hands. Available almost anytime in Lexington and surrounding areas contact in advance is recommended but we can take last-minute calls depending on the situation and what not. Also I work with you budget! I have a park near me and I do take my own dog to the dog park every chance I get via Lyft and plenty of toys for your fur babies!

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for many years and have experience pet sitting for multiple families, including drop-in visits and overnight care. I’ve cared for cats regularly over several years, watched dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all kinds. I also volunteer through Doggy Day Out at the shelter, where I help walk and socialize dogs, and I grew up with a family dog, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I enjoy walks, playtime, cuddles, and making sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I have experience incorporating caregiving and pet care into my daily routine and enjoy creating consistent schedules for feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship. I am organized, dependable, and make it a priority to ensure pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. My schedule allows me to provide regular walks, check-ins, enrichment, and quality time, and I always work to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel at home. I spend a lot of time at home and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and consistency throughout the week. I make sure pets have fresh water, are fed on schedule, and receive plenty of attention, enrichment, playtime, and companionship. About: Hi, I'm Brooke! I'm a recent UofL grad and love meeting new furry friends! I grew up with both cats and dogs, and began caring for neighbors’ pets at 10 years old. Since then, I’ve had years of experience with house sitting, daily walks, and drop-in visits for neighbors and family friends, often working through word of mouth and personal recommendations. I’ve worked as both a stay-in pet sitter and a weekly dog walker, and I love making sure animals feel safe, loved, and well-cared for. I have experience caring for puppies, kittens, high-energy animals, and senior pets with special needs, and am comfortable adapting to a wide range of temperaments and energy levels. What sets me apart is my reliability, communication, and attention to care when it comes to treating animals with the patience, love, and respect they need.🩷 I am currently on my gap year between undergraduate and medical school, so pet care will be my full time job! I am able to stay the majority of the day at client's homes if needed, but may need to step out for an hour or two to get food and/or groceries for my stay. Feel free to discuss your pet's schedule with me, and we can figure out a plan that works for everyone! I always try to meet with the family before sitting or dropping-in so that I understand how any pets are used to their home feeling. I will follow all instructions left by the owners, and try to keep a loving and clean environment for the animals. I also try to be very communicative with owners about any questions or concerns, and will gladly provide daily pictures/videos of animals to the owners. I also love playing with animals and making sure they get enough activity so they can get some fresh air and love! Additionally, I am a pre-medical student and have many hours of emergency experience with basic life support (BLS) and have taken a veterinary BLS course. I know how to administer CPR and perform the Heimlich maneuver on cats and dogs. I also have experience administering injected medication and subcutaneous fluids to cats and dogs. (I do not have experience administering care to additional animals at this time.) I also look up the closest veterinary ER prior to a stay, and am prepared to drive any animals in case of an emergency.
About: We have had pets and been around animals our whole lives. We have years of professional pet sitting experience, and have worked for and volunteered with animal welfare, wildlife rescue, and farm animal rescue organizations. This has included fostering over 100 animals. We lost a beloved 15 year old pup last year who gave us plenty of senior care experience. We have flexible work from home jobs, so we have Monday-Friday availability for pet care services. We have regular evening commitments out of the house, but only for an hour or 2. Our weekends are usually flexible and open as well! We have a secure fenced in yard for your pup to enjoy time outside! We also have a crate available for high-anxiety dogs if needed. Cats staying with us will have their own room. We have two cats in our home that are dog friendly.

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my whole life, first with pets growing up, and now as a proud dog mom who works from home full time. That means I can give your pet real attention, not just a quick pop in. I have an anxious dog of my own, so I completely understand how much pets thrive on routine, familiar surroundings, and a calm presence. It’s why I believe in caring for pets in their own space and decided to join Rover. I’ll never rush your pet or force interaction and let them warm up at their own pace. I also have years of experience with the senior dogs in my family, so I’m comfortable with slower walks, medications, and the extra gentleness older pets deserve. I offer drop in visits, dog walking, and overnight house sitting. When I stay overnight, my own dog stays home with my partner so your pet gets my full, undivided attention. My flexible schedule means I can keep your pet’s routine exactly as they know it, with plenty of photo updates along the way! I work from home with a fully flexible schedule, so pet care fits naturally into my day. I can do morning, midday, or evening drop ins and walks, and I’m available for overnight house sitting with plenty of notice or even short notice when my calendar allows. Your pet’s routine stays exactly as they know it. I follow your instructions to the letter: feeding schedules, medications, walking routes, and household rules. I always keep dogs leashed outdoors unless you have a secure fenced yard, double check doors and gates, and send regular photo updates so you have total peace of mind while you’re away :)
“Sarah was great! She was prompt in her communication and got in a good distance for the walk. I’m sure Mo had a great time! Will be a repeat!”

“Aubrey was great! She took great care of my dog! She is very nice, friendly, and kind! She was great at communicating and always left a detailed description of the walk with lots of pictures!”

“Ariel did a great job! Lots of communication and attention to detail. Plus a get acquainted visit with Waldo to make sure they were a good fit!”

“Brooke was amazing and so accommodating! I will def use her again if she'll have us! Otis was so happy to get outside today! Thank you Brooke!”
“We’re new to Rover and have already had wonderful experiences with Erin. Before booking, she willingly came to our home to meet our playful, 3-year-old German Shepherd, Burt Macklin. He took right to her and we also quickly felt comfortable with her, enough to move forward with trusting someone we didn’t know into our home and to take our furbaby out on walks while we’re at work. Erin is communicative, quick to respond, has helped me through the Rover app which I haven’t quite figured out yet, and already a BFF of Burt’s! Recommend 10/10!”

About: I have had a dog from the time I was 12 until I was 22! I know how to take care of all ages, from puppies to our beloved senior doggies. I’m in search for my new study buddy to keep me company while I do my flash cards! I am currently in medical school, and my class schedule is predictable but flexible. With a low amount of required activities, I am available to spend more time with your babies! I usually study from home, which means we can both keep each-other company :) I have experience in dog sitting and house sitting. I will be more than happy to spend as much time as possible in your home so that your pets stay on as normal of a routine as possible. I care for pets like I care for my patients- with love, responsibility, and devotion!
“Addy has been great with our dog. She comes on schedule and is very responsive. Our dog does not like to be put back into his crate and Addy says she takes great care to guide him back in which we are greatful for (esp when he is being stubborn). Thanks!”

“Lucy does a great job!! She’s taken my dog for multiple walks. Always sends the cutest photos! Does a great job with communication and always remembers to lock up when she leaves. Highly recommend!”

About: I have grown up with dogs in the house my whole life. I am especially comfortable taking care of older and senior dogs and adapting to their needs (ex. blind/deaf) and have lived with small to medium breeds. However, I am also experienced with taking care of younger and larger breeds (ex. 1 year old English Labs). I have recently graduated from my undergraduate program, and have plenty of free time while looking for full-time employment. I do have a daughter, which may limit certain appointment times but should be flexible as I do have relatives to help, should I need to check on your pets. Experienced with young and elderly dogs, I am always sure to keep an eye on them when they are outside to prevent any escape or injury, regardless of a fence. If needed, I can also sit with special animals on a schedule, to ensure they go to sleep after meals or a walk.

I’m also experienced in giving medicine to animals that may need it. grew up around a lot of different animals and I love spending time with new animals and seeing all the different dog and cat breeds. 😁 I stay at home and my schedule is very flexible, so the fur babies will get plenty of attention and love! They will always have me with them for some company and play time. I can take care of pets in any way that their pet owner would like. I don’t have many rules and would just like for the fur babies to be comfortable in the new environment!
About: As a dog owner and foster, I have experience caring for senior dogs, nervous rescues, and multiple dogs at once. I prioritize individualized care, patience, and creating a stress-free environment. I work from home full-time, giving me the flexibility to provide attentive care, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship so pets feel safe and comfortable. I believe consistency is important for pets, so I follow their established routine for meals, walks, exercise, and rest. I provide attentive care, patience, and an stress-free environment while making sure owners stay updated. I have a fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time and two senior dogs who are calm and friendly companions.
“Natasha was a good communicator and sent pictures of our girl while we were away! She took our golden on walks and played with her. She also was a huge help to us by picking up and dropping off our golden when we had early/late flight times. She was a huge help and we felt great about leaving our Honey girl with Natasha!”

“Brian clearly treated our beagle very well! He gave her plenty of exercise (which she needs), and kept us appraised on how she was doing. A very good caregiver, all in all!”

“Went well, my pup seems happy and well taken care of. A little hard to communicate, but they were flexible with my pickup and drop off times. They took him to the dog park and on multiple walks.”

“Nathan is great! He kelp my Pitt Krystee for seven days. Each day he sent videos and pictures of how she was doing! He treated Krystee as if she was his own! I highly recommend Nathan for pet sitting, and will use Nathan again next month when I go out of town again! Thank you Nathan for taking such good care of Krystee!!!”

“Laura was really great and he was super happy when I picked him up. She consistently sent me status and photos of him. She also really enjoyed having him there and that means the world to me. I will always want him to be there first.”

“The communication, photos, and care have been great. We can trust that our dogs will come home happy, which is especially important for our older anxious girl. I’m pretty sure our girls are just as happy and comfortable at their house as they are ours .”

“Jennifer took excellent care of Dolly for the entire week we were on spring break. I was nervous leaving her for so long for the first time, but it helped to know she was getting love and has Jennifer’s pup as a playmate.”

“Kathy was amazing. Our two little monsters felt so loved and cared for when staying with her. She provided updates on how they were doing throughout the week and had a blast playing with her.”
“Excellent!! These are the NICEST people to take care of my dog!!! I will always check with them first! Polite, considerate, accommodating, reliable and professional.”
