“Emily and her husband were so nice and were perfect for my dog, Cassie. I got updates daily about her play and how she was doing along with pictures and videos. Their home is spacious, has a fenced in (good sized) backyard with lots of room for playtime! My girl did great with her dogs who were also very good hosts. I am already in talks with Emily about watching my girl again in a few months for our next trip. Highly recommend.”

“Brent is a good person and a great dog sitter. Maple and Mozzie's (Brent's dog) first meeting went great. They played very well together. The day we dropped off Maple at Brent's home, he and his wife were very friendly and inviting with us and our dog Maple. They explained everything involved with Maple's stay and activities in their home. He kept us updated with pictures and texts. I would definitely recommend Brent and Rover to other pet owners.”

Kelsey updated us with photos and messages very frequently, which was very much appreciated! Kelsey has a significant amount of knowledge on cats, and gives them many opportunities to play and enrich their minds, socially and mentally. Thank you so much for looking after our little baby! I can not wait for the next time that she can come over to visit!”

He offered Teddy healthy treats on the regular and treated him like his own. Five stars! We will definitely be reaching out to him again for future sitting needs.”

“Ann took excellent care of my dog, Max! She ensured that he got plenty of playtime, and sent me plenty of pictures and updates daily. She even surprised me by giving him a good bath! She also kept him an extra night when I got stranded at the airport. She certainly has a passion for caring for dogs.”

“Went well, my pup seems happy and well taken care of. A little hard to communicate, but they were flexible with my pickup and drop off times. They took him to the dog park and on multiple walks.”

Throughout my childhood I’ve had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, parrots and fish in all stages of life. I’ve learned to cater to every need because of this, as every pet needs something specific to their age, size and personality. I can handle pets of all sizes and energy levels, and will treat each just as I would one of my own. I currently have one of my own super friendly dogs at home, and I have plenty of space to welcome yours, and/or separate them comfortably if needed for whatever reason.

“Catherine was excellent in every way! Had scheduled with her a little over a week in advance and then had my older pet pass away right before the trip—she was incredibly helpful at helping me edit the number of pets scheduled for her to drop-in on via the Rover site and was very kind about my loss. Professional, sent lots of pics, and my slow-to-warm-up cat snuggled with her!”

About: After experiencing the tragic loss of my own cats due to a negligent pet sitter, I became deeply committed to providing the highest level of care for all animals. That experience taught me how vital it is to entrust pets to someone who not only understands their needs but treats them like family. I specialize in senior pet care, offering compassionate support for aging pets, including administering medications, managing health conditions, and providing gentle, tailored exercise routines. I also have experience training puppies, helping them develop good behaviors early on and ensuring they have the structure they need to thrive. My focus is always on building trust and creating a safe, loving environment for your pets, so they feel comfortable and secure when you're away. Above all, I aim to offer peace of mind to pet owners, knowing their animals are in caring, responsible hands. Available almost anytime in Lexington and surrounding areas contact in advance is recommended but we can take last-minute calls depending on the situation and what not. Also I work with you budget! I have a park near me and I do take my own dog to the dog park every chance I get via Lyft and plenty of toys for your fur babies!

Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, medications, or simply providing companionship, I follow each owner's instructions closely and treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would my own. As a pet owner myself to an 11½-year-old Maltipoo, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your furry family member.

About: I have grown up with dogs in the house my whole life. I am especially comfortable taking care of older and senior dogs and adapting to their needs (ex. blind/deaf) and have lived with small to medium breeds. However, I am also experienced with taking care of younger and larger breeds (ex. 1 year old English Labs). I have recently graduated from my undergraduate program, and have plenty of free time while looking for full-time employment. I do have a daughter, which may limit certain appointment times but should be flexible as I do have relatives to help, should I need to check on your pets. Experienced with young and elderly dogs, I am always sure to keep an eye on them when they are outside to prevent any escape or injury, regardless of a fence. If needed, I can also sit with special animals on a schedule, to ensure they go to sleep after meals or a walk.

I like to make sure the doggie is a happy, tired doggie when I do have to leave them. They love me and know fun is in store when I’m around. I play fetch and frisbee in the backyard and go on long walks around the neighborhood. If we can’t be outside I’ll play games with them indoors to challenge their minds and keep them occupied. Then of course there’s snuggle time together until they’re ready to nap or go to sleep in their crates or bed.

If I’m in home sitting I do a minimum of 3 30 min walks a day. 1 before work ,after work and before bed. And depending on your fur babies energy I’ll add in extra play time if needed. “This was my second time having Kath and Jordan watch Duncan and I have nothing but great things to say! He loves it there and they make him feel super comfortable being away from home. They do a great job with sending me photos so I know he’s doing well. I couldn’t recommend them enough!!”

About: As a dog owner and foster, I have experience caring for senior dogs, nervous rescues, and multiple dogs at once. I prioritize individualized care, patience, and creating a stress-free environment. I work from home full-time, giving me the flexibility to provide attentive care, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship so pets feel safe and comfortable. I believe consistency is important for pets, so I follow their established routine for meals, walks, exercise, and rest. I provide attentive care, patience, and an stress-free environment while making sure owners stay updated. I have a fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time and two senior dogs who are calm and friendly companions.
“Communication and understanding and ability to accommodate on the fly was outstanding. Nova came back to me happy and relaxed. Would definitely recommend Brian to anyone and will definitely rebook.”
“Alex and Martha are great! Communication is excellent. They spent a lot of time with our dog and she had a blast playing with their dog. We were worried about leaving her with a sitter for the first time but we had absolutely no issues at all. Will definitely use them again for our next trip!”

“We were very pleased with the care provided for our 2 large dogs by Kristen and her family. Communication was excellent and prompt. Her home was clean and orderly. Pictures were sent several times to assure us that all was well. We have already booked another stay with Kristen.”

“Lauren is great and I highly recommend booking her! I was nervous about leaving my dog for vacation since I had just moved and Lauren was very sympathetic. My dog loved her dog and settled right in. Lauren communicated with me and sent videos and photos of my dog having a blast. I will definitely be booking Lauren again!”

“Nathan is great! He kelp my Pitt Krystee for seven days. Each day he sent videos and pictures of how she was doing! He treated Krystee as if she was his own! I highly recommend Nathan for pet sitting, and will use Nathan again next month when I go out of town again! Thank you Nathan for taking such good care of Krystee!!!”
