“Emily and her husband were so nice and were perfect for my dog, Cassie. I got updates daily about her play and how she was doing along with pictures and videos. Their home is spacious, has a fenced in (good sized) backyard with lots of room for playtime! My girl did great with her dogs who were also very good hosts. I am already in talks with Emily about watching my girl again in a few months for our next trip. Highly recommend.”

“Kelso was absolutely phenomenal!! She is truly an expert on all things related to cats, so my cat was in the best hands and I learned lots of new information on best practices to be a better cat mom :) Kelso gave comprehensive updates on a daily basis and really went above and beyond to make sure my little boy was comfortable and taken care of. I highly recommend Kelso—my cat will definitely be back during my next trip!”

“Ann was great with my little dog. She was easy to communicate with and answered my questions quickly. I was surprised to see Ann had 2 large dogs of her own. That’s on me, I should have asked if she had large dogs. I got really nervous about leaving Scruffy because his back has been injured a couple of times by larger dogs. Ann was very reassuring and took good care of Scruffy. She also sent lots of photos to help easy my mind. I will be using Ann again.”

Thank you so much!”

About: Hi, I'm Brooke! I'm a recent UofL grad and love meeting new kitty friends! I grew up with cats in my home, and always had neighborhood kitties coming by the house to say hello! I began cat sitting for my neighbors at 10 years old, and since then I’ve done numerous of drop-in visits and full time house-sitting for clients. I love getting to know each kitty I take care of and learning their different personalities! One thing that sets me apart is my effort in making sure you and your cats feel comfortable while you're away from home. I love taking pictures of each kitty I sit for, as well as making sure to follow all instructions so you can feel at ease while you're away. I love playing with energetic kitties, but am just as understanding if they are shy and need a gentle approach! I always make sure their environment stays clean and comfortable, which includes making sure their litter boxes are clean and tidying up any messes around the house. I always love meeting new kitty faces, and would love to be your cats next friend!

About: My family has always had cats and I have cared for friends’ and family’s cats for years, so I know firsthand that cats are creatures of habit who do best in their own territory with their routines intact. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter box care, and administering medications, and I always follow your instructions exactly. You’ll get photo updates every visit, even if your cat is playing hard to get!

About: I have been caring for cats for the past three years and have experience with cats of all ages and personalities, from playful kittens to senior cats who need extra patience and attention. “Addelynn was great watching my cats, and would definitely recommend her! Super easy communication to schedule and coordinate keys with her. She took care of both my cats & sent updates and photos for my peace of mind while I was away. It seems like she already became close friends with my cat Ricky who was purring in her lap after only 2 visits, which makes having to be away even easier <3”

I also have experience training puppies, helping them develop good behaviors early on and ensuring they have the structure they need to thrive. I have a park near me and I do take my own dog to the dog park every chance I get via Lyft and plenty of toys for your fur babies!

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my whole life, first with pets growing up, and now as a proud dog mom who works from home full time. That means I can give your pet real attention, not just a quick pop in. I have an anxious dog of my own, so I completely understand how much pets thrive on routine, familiar surroundings, and a calm presence. It’s why I believe in caring for pets in their own space and decided to join Rover. I’ll never rush your pet or force interaction and let them warm up at their own pace. I also have years of experience with the senior dogs in my family, so I’m comfortable with slower walks, medications, and the extra gentleness older pets deserve. I offer drop in visits, dog walking, and overnight house sitting. When I stay overnight, my own dog stays home with my partner so your pet gets my full, undivided attention. My flexible schedule means I can keep your pet’s routine exactly as they know it, with plenty of photo updates along the way! I work from home with a fully flexible schedule, so pet care fits naturally into my day. I can do morning, midday, or evening drop ins and walks, and I’m available for overnight house sitting with plenty of notice or even short notice when my calendar allows. Your pet’s routine stays exactly as they know it. I follow your instructions to the letter: feeding schedules, medications, walking routes, and household rules. I always keep dogs leashed outdoors unless you have a secure fenced yard, double check doors and gates, and send regular photo updates so you have total peace of mind while you’re away :)
“Kara was willing to work with my schedule when I desperately needed her last minute! She detailed what went on during her walk and took great care of my baby.”

“Sincerely appreciate Katherine for being so flexible with the last minute booking. She was excited and caring with Mia, which was reassuring. Kept me informed through the whole process and replied promptly. Would definitely recommend her.”

About: I have taken care of dogs for over 10 years and have vast experience in walking, feeding, administering medications, etc. I even started volunteering at a pet store at the age of 8 and stayed there for many years! I’m working part time so I have quite a lot of time on my hands to give your pups the right amount of attention they need. I have a fenced in yard with a lot of grass that is very dog friendly. I also have two of the sweetest most playful doodles to keep your dog company!!
About: I have always loved animals! Last school year I was a preschool teacher, and over the summer was a nanny! They had a dog and his name was Butters, and I took care of Butters and his 3 human friends. I have always grown up with dogs (specifically the two cutest Rottweilers ever!!) I love long walks just like your dog and I have definitely missed being around furry friends since being at college. I am currently a college student that is home for the summer! My days are flexible and open to you and your pets needs! I love early morning walks and midday tug-of-war with your pets! If you have random hours for work or are gone all day, I can be helpful! I care for your pets with love and care! I know when pavement is too hot to walk, and the signs for a pet that needs to get back inside and hydrate! I do not have a home with crates or a fence, but I am willing to help out however I can!

About: I have grown up with dogs in the house my whole life. I am especially comfortable taking care of older and senior dogs and adapting to their needs (ex. blind/deaf) and have lived with small to medium breeds. However, I am also experienced with taking care of younger and larger breeds (ex. 1 year old English Labs). I have recently graduated from my undergraduate program, and have plenty of free time while looking for full-time employment. I do have a daughter, which may limit certain appointment times but should be flexible as I do have relatives to help, should I need to check on your pets. Experienced with young and elderly dogs, I am always sure to keep an eye on them when they are outside to prevent any escape or injury, regardless of a fence. If needed, I can also sit with special animals on a schedule, to ensure they go to sleep after meals or a walk.
“Addelynn has been great with our new pup. We are gone most of the day for work and she comes on the days when we wont be home until late. She is responsive, walks him 20 minutes and sends pictures as well as how he did and if he went potty. Would recommend! Thanks!”

With a low amount of required activities, I am available to spend more time with your babies! I usually study from home, which means we can both keep each-other company :) I have experience in dog sitting and house sitting. I will be more than happy to spend as much time as possible in your home so that your pets stay on as normal of a routine as possible. I care for pets like I care for my patients- with love, responsibility, and devotion!

About: I have been around pets my whole life, but dogs are my favorite! I love them all, from puppies to the senior friends. I regularly care for my family dogs and I have experience caring for friends dogs and I have several regular clients. I have experience with puppy care and training, bathing, feeding, and administering medication. I also have experience with senior dog care nearing the end of life and all others in between. I have no trouble creating the special bond needed with most dog personalities. Dogs are truly our best friends! I play and exercise my own dogs daily. I understand the importance of keeping dogs engaged, healthy, and active. I do have a part-time job, but schedules are flexible given enough notice. I am so excited to care for your pup! I like to make sure the doggie is a happy, tired doggie when I do have to leave them. They love me and know fun is in store when I’m around. I play fetch and frisbee in the backyard and go on long walks around the neighborhood. If we can’t be outside I’ll play games with them indoors to challenge their minds and keep them occupied. Then of course there’s snuggle time together until they’re ready to nap or go to sleep in their crates or bed.

I am a very active person. I go on runs daily and if you’re dog is less active I can do walks too. I am home most of the day other than my classes during the week which is around 2 hours a day. I have a yard without a fence and a house. For my training depending on what you would like I typically do 2-3 sessions a day during a board and train. If you want a few sessions with you I will walk you through some different training techniques. I can teach a dog anything while making it fun and engaging.
“Jennifer was initially communicative, and took good care of our little Pomeranian while we went away. After being prompted, she did send some sweet photos, which was nice. We were pleased with our decision to choose her as our sitter!”

“Accommodated me on short notice. Nathan has strong attentiveness. Inquired about my preferences and if I had specific requests like wanting photos / my pups schedule in order to provide optimal care to him during their time together.”

“This was an extended stay with Laura with my older girl as well as my spunky young boy. They absolutely adore her and she's so great at communicating and giving updates. She really made it easy being away for the first time in a year. She also was super responsive when I gave her some updates from the vet and super flexible with pickup and drop off time. I'm really glad we connected and my fur pups have a home away from home.”

“Kristin and her family were all so very accommodating of my 12yr old pup's regimen! We received regular updates and pictures of her enjoying cuddles, and walks! Highly recommend Kristin to care for your fur-baby!!”
