“Emily and her husband were so nice and were perfect for my dog, Cassie. I got updates daily about her play and how she was doing along with pictures and videos. Their home is spacious, has a fenced in (good sized) backyard with lots of room for playtime! My girl did great with her dogs who were also very good hosts. I am already in talks with Emily about watching my girl again in a few months for our next trip. Highly recommend.”

“Ashton & Jenison were great!! They took daily pictures of Boomer and let me know how he was doing. Responsive to all my messages and were concerned immediately when Boomer was being picky with his food. Will definitely book again. He came back a very happy pup. And they were accommodating when our flight was delayed.”

“Loved Voss and his family Artic felt right at home I think and they were patient and kind to my little baby stitch. Thanks guys for helping even though it was only a few days notice!”

“Brent is a good person and a great dog sitter. Maple and Mozzie's (Brent's dog) first meeting went great. They played very well together. The day we dropped off Maple at Brent's home, he and his wife were very friendly and inviting with us and our dog Maple. They explained everything involved with Maple's stay and activities in their home. He kept us updated with pictures and texts. I would definitely recommend Brent and Rover to other pet owners.”

“Excellent people who are dog lovers that took great care of my girl. Sent pictures and videos and I had great piece of mind on my trip. Will book with Allison again!”

“Tania was great with our dogs! She sent us updates and photos, one of our dogs especially enjoyed the dog door and the backyard. She was careful and gentle with our older dog too. She responded pleasantly and quickly to any/all questions. Great dog sitter!”

“Erin was great and her family was great as well. Leila seemed as if she was fitting right in with no hassle. Having a puppy, Erin and her family attentiveness was great for Leila still being potty trained. Erin sent a lot of pictures and updates and was very flexible with our travel plans.”

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was a kid my family loves animals. I dog sit for family friends and have taken care of pets at veterinary clinics. I’m currently a student at UK and take a mix of online and short in person classes. My schedule is pretty relaxed as I don’t have classes everyday of the week. When I do have class I’m home a lot between classes and have time to check on animals every 2 hours. I live near campus so I can take your pet on walks around campus or to the park. I live in a pet free and smoke free apartment and can easily crate your pet if needed.
“Martha did such a wonderful job looking after our little Gumbo! There was great communication and she clearly loves and has great experience with taking care of pups! Gumbo was extremely relaxed and happy when we picked him up after a long stay. We are so grateful to have found such a great boarding option!!”

“Ann was great with my little dog. She was easy to communicate with and answered my questions quickly. I was surprised to see Ann had 2 large dogs of her own. That’s on me, I should have asked if she had large dogs. I got really nervous about leaving Scruffy because his back has been injured a couple of times by larger dogs. Ann was very reassuring and took good care of Scruffy. She also sent lots of photos to help easy my mind. I will be using Ann again.”

“Valerie and Brian have a peaceful and clean home. They were kind and communicative. I appreciated the pics of our dog during his stay. He gets nervous around other dogs and did very well with their sweet dog Ollie! Wonderful sitters! Highly recommend!”

“Kirsten was amazing! She offered a meet and greet before my dog’s boarding. A very sweet person. And I was able to tell my dog would be in great hands. Awesome communication and I received plenty of updates including pictures and videos. I have an Aussie, and he has a lot of energy and Kirsten matches it perfectly.”

“Kelsey was awesome with my Great Dane zeke. He usually has a rough time at boarders when he’s in a crate and won’t eat, drink etc. Kelsey went above and beyond to make sure my big guy was taken care of and comfortable. He went on walks, car rides and even had a heated mattress cover on him.he is worn out.i would use her again and advise anyone to use her. She will go above and beyond to make sure your pets are comfortable.”

“Jessica is a fantastic host who truly loves animals! Her home is well-equipped for dogs and cats, and she is incredibly caring. My shy dog, Yogurt, instantly warmed up to her! During their four days together, Jessica took Yogurt on frequent walks and sent me regular photos, knowing how much I missed Yogurt. She was also very understanding when our late flight delayed pickup. I highly recommend Jessica and will definitely book with her again!”

“Kath & Jordan were so great!! This was my first time booking with Rover and they made the process so easy with almost immediate responses and lots of pictures! They made me feel very comfortable leaving my pup with them, and she came home worn out after having the best time! I would definitely recommend them!!!”

“Dana is awesome! Our pup loves spending time with her while we love knowing she is taken care of! Dana is quick to respond, flexible, and communicates well!”

University Of Kentucky dog parents share their Rover experiences
I found Kelsey E. going crazy over any means available to find a siter to take care of my diabetic dog Sammie. Once we agreed on planning his treatment. She went beyond to accommodate our needs and Sammie’s needs when we were in a stressful situation. No one wanted to take care of him until we came across her name. What a life saver! She kept his strict schedule, sent great updates, and returned a happy, healthy pup to us. If you need a trustworthy, skilled sitter for a special-needs dog, This is the one to keep!" Thank you, Kelsey! Sincerely we will use you again if you are available when he need arises again.
Ava did a phenomenal job caring for my two pups, Trooper & Shaiya. We scheduled a meet and greet the evening before boarding and Ava kindly came to my residence to meet the dogs and ensure everything would work well with her dog as well. My dogs are young (8 and 6 months), and have a lot of play energy. Ava did a great job caring for them and provided me with pictures/videos along the way. Given her success with this challenge, I'm highly confident she will take excellent care of your dog as well! 10/10 recommend!
