Grad student needing puppy love
I have had family dogs my whole life and have helped in caring for them in all stages of their lives, from puppy to 18 years old. I currently have a 9 year old havanese-bichon mix, who I refuse to call a senior, but have raised him from a pup. I have taken care of pets for neighbors, including larger dogs and cats, and although those pets can’t leave me reviews, they do come RUNNING with tails wagging when they see me. Additionally, I am experienced with animals that need a bit of extra care. My current dog, Theo, has some pretty severe anxiety, so I have navigated that with him his whole little life and am experienced with separation anxiety and those who despise the crate. This also includes medicine administration.

Bella had a great time at Haley’s. We got regular reports and pictures. Bella interfaced well with Haley’s dog Theo. We would definitely book with Haley again. We were lucky to find her.
Haley is a great cat sitter—reliable, caring, and attentive. We appreciated the updates and came home to happy, well-cared-for cats. Highly recommend!
Haley is wonderful. She took great care of our 2 Shi Tzus and always kept us updated on them with an note and photos each day. I can’t thank her enough and she is our go to for any boarding and day care from now on.
Haley did a terrific job taking care of our two "kids" (Amber and Mo)! We were in Italy, 6 hours ahead of Haley's time zone, and she managed to keep us well-informed despite the time difference. We received texts, pictures, and videos that eased our concerns about leaving our pups. We will highly recommend Haley and will book her again without hesitation!
I cannot imagine a better person to care for our dog. Haley took such good care of our little guy while we were away. She was unfailingly professional and compassionate, always responsive and quick to understand the needs of both owner and dog! It was a delight to work with her. I never for one moment worried about our (usually anxious) dog. He settled right in, seemed to enjoy Haley's dog, Theo, and never missed a beat. We knew our dog was in good hands from the moment we met Haley. He came home relaxed and happy. We feel so lucky to have found her and Riley.
Haley was great with our 2 Shi Tzus. This was the second time they were in daycare and loved it. We really appreciated that she sent us pictures and gave us updates since they were not used to being away from home. We liked here so well we have already booked her for 2 longer boarding periods.

Zeitplan
I’m in the fourth year of my PhD, so I’m at the point where most of my work is self scheduled and self paced! I work from home regularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays but am never gone for more than 6 hours on other weekdays.

I have a small fenced yard for going potty throughout the day, and will use a harness/collar and leash for any walks outside of the yard. Please provide a secure harness or collar and leash for your dog as well as a crate if needed.

We will absolutely go on big walks and visit any nearby parks! If they’re staying with me, I have plenty of fun toys and a small neighborhood park we can take a walk to!
