“Brent is a good person and a great dog sitter. Maple and Mozzie's (Brent's dog) first meeting went great. They played very well together. The day we dropped off Maple at Brent's home, he and his wife were very friendly and inviting with us and our dog Maple. They explained everything involved with Maple's stay and activities in their home. He kept us updated with pictures and texts. I would definitely recommend Brent and Rover to other pet owners.”

“Ann took excellent care of my dog, Max! She ensured that he got plenty of playtime, and sent me plenty of pictures and updates daily. She even surprised me by giving him a good bath! She also kept him an extra night when I got stranded at the airport. She certainly has a passion for caring for dogs.”

“Erin and family took great care of our Lucy Lu. Our dog is old and takes a bit more care than most dogs, as she is deaf and on medications. Erin kept us up to date on Lucy’s weekend and share pictures. We will definitely be calling again when we need doggie care. Thanks Erin!!!”

About: I’ve owned multiple disabled dogs and can care for them. I’m also experienced in giving medicine to animals that may need it. grew up around a lot of different animals and I love spending time with new animals and seeing all the different dog and cat breeds. 😁 I stay at home and my schedule is very flexible, so the fur babies will get plenty of attention and love! They will always have me with them for some company and play time. I can take care of pets in any way that their pet owner would like. I don’t have many rules and would just like for the fur babies to be comfortable in the new environment!
“Drop off and pick up was so nice and easy. Most of all I appreciated picking up my gal and seeing how relaxed and loved on she'd been. My girl will be anxious for hours if she's been alone or stressed, but she was perfectly relaxed and happy! So thankful!”

“Emily and her husband were so nice and were perfect for my dog, Cassie. I got updates daily about her play and how she was doing along with pictures and videos. Their home is spacious, has a fenced in (good sized) backyard with lots of room for playtime! My girl did great with her dogs who were also very good hosts. I am already in talks with Emily about watching my girl again in a few months for our next trip. Highly recommend.”

“We were visiting from TN, and this was our dog’s first stay with Haley. Nala had a great time and we felt very comfortable leaving her there. Haley kept us updated every day with messages and pictures.”

“Kelsey did an amazing job taking care of our 4 month old kitten, and addressing her needs. Our kitten was able to socialize with other cats and even a dog! Kelsey updated us with photos and messages very frequently, which was very much appreciated! Kelsey has a significant amount of knowledge on cats, and gives them many opportunities to play and enrich their minds, socially and mentally. Thank you so much for looking after our little baby! I can not wait for the next time that she can come over to visit!”

“Megan was great!! She sent regular updates and sent lots of pictures. Bella fit right in with her crew of dogs. I highly recommend if needed a pet sitter!”

About: We came across the Cavapoo breed as our loving Rottweiler was on his journey to his “better place”. We chose the Cavapoo breed as our furry rainbow puppy to help us all with the tough loss. Fast fwd 5 years, and WOW, still can’t believe the journey that was created for us. Dog breeding, training, boarding and grooming just the way I would want my pups taken care of…in a home. Our setup is ready for all stages of dogs and of course, personalities. This is a small family business and we make pet care fit seamlessly into our lives. We’re a party of 4 and all hands are always on deck. 4:00 am wake up call during the week and 6:00 am on weekends. Caring for pets in our home can consist of taking your pets normal routine that’s already established and following it. Help keep your animal on a schedule of food timing to crate or bedroom boarding. We live in a neighborhood with a 6 foot privacy fenced in back yard. A 3,000 gallon Koi pond surrounded by 800 square feet of deck. Nice plush outdoor furniture for the dogs to lounge next to the pond after a drink. We have also built a 200 square foot doggie palace on our property. Full electricity with heating/air and additional ceiling fan. Great for rainy days or dogs who are lone rangers and/or feisty.
“Communication and understanding and ability to accommodate on the fly was outstanding. Nova came back to me happy and relaxed. Would definitely recommend Brian to anyone and will definitely rebook.”
About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They had grandkids to see and wanted to explore as many different countries as they could. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.
“Andrew made our Bear feel welcome right away by playing with him and introducing him to his small dog, Lucky Bear. He had lots of room to play inside and was given regular walks. Andrew sent us pictures throughout Bear’s visit and our boy looked very happy. I appreciate Andrew’s quick and thoughtful responses to my text messages. We’d definitely use him again for watching Bear.”

“Bree did such a great job looking after my little Karma! She looked happier and more at ease than she ever has compared to when I’ve come back from other trips and I think that says a lot about how she was taken care of. I loved all the daily photos with each check in as well. Thank you, Bree!”

“Layla was very reliable in taking care of my puppy! She responded promptly and helped ease my stress with pictures and a sweet note during her drop in visit. My booking was rather last minute so I appreciate her responding quickly and helping me make sure Juni was taken care of.”

From the pictures she sends us, it is clear that our puppy is having a great time and and loves to play with her. We appreciate her very much!”

About: My family has always had cats and I have cared for friends’ and family’s cats for years, so I know firsthand that cats are creatures of habit who do best in their own territory with their routines intact. I respect each cat’s personality, some want play and cuddles, others prefer a quiet presence and space to warm up on their own terms. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter box care, and administering medications, and I always follow your instructions exactly. You’ll get photo updates every visit, even if your cat is playing hard to get!
“Mary was a wonderful sitter, she allowed us to have an stress-free vacation & we are truly thankful. She was communicative, friendly, and provided us nice updates on our kitties. Hope to use Mary again in the future for our vacation needs”

About: My husband and I are experienced pet lovers who would be honored to care for your best friend! We are experienced with dogs, cats, senior dogs, and puppies. Our beloved beagle, Huckleberry, passed away earlier this year - and spent the final years of his life battling a variety of diseases, so we know how stressful it can be finding a sitter you feel confident leaving your fur baby with when their "instruction manual" has grown in size. We have experience with special needs, strict diets, oral medications, SQ fluids, and much more. We treat dogs like human members of the family here, and rest assured we will get them the absolute best care. They deserve it! I work from home, so I am home almost always. My husband is a nurse, and though humans are his expertise, those skills can come in handy! Our home has a fenced in yard for roaming, no kids and no other pets at this time. We have plenty of couches, beds, bean bags, etc. for your dog to relax and unwind. We prefer to take one dog at a time, unless they are from the same family/already know each other. We will follow your dog's instructions thoroughly and keep them on their regular routine. We will be sure to send updates and plenty of photos. Our goal is your peace of mind! I work from home, so rest assured I will be with your pet almost always. I have plenty of time for walks and breaks outside, and will have an eye on your dog all day while I work. We have a fenced in yard and plenty of space in our home. Your pet will get all the attention - we do not have any other pets or children. We will follow your pet's routine - whether that's snuggling in bed with us every night or sleeping in their crate.

About: I’ve always had a love for all animals it doesn’t matter what animal they are. When I was 13 I was put in foster care and my first home was at a horse farm and I absolutely loved it grooming, feeding, and riding the horses. My chores were to walk the dogs, feed the dogs, bath the dogs, and also groom the dogs. I love and enjoy the company of my furry friends. All animals are welcome to stay with me and get the same love and care that they get at home. I’m also willing to travel however far away you are. I also really like it if I have a list of routines that your animal does so I can keep them on schedule. If you have one.
“Excellent service and care of my pup Hope. Gave great insight and wisdom on additional care for her. Definitely feel as if she gave her a great start! Would recommend him for sure!”

About: I absolutely love dogs! Since I can’t have one while in college, pet sitting gives me the perfect opportunity to spend time with them. I have experience caring for my family’s dogs and would love to give your pup plenty of attention, playtime, and care! I am a student at UK so I try to fit it into my schedule when I can! I dog sit on the side because I love it! I am open to caring for the dog however the owner needs me to! I am willing to take them to a park, give meds, go on walks, etc.

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was a kid my family loves animals. I dog sit for family friends and have taken care of animals as veterinarian tech. I’m currently a student at UK and take a mix of online and short in person classes. My schedule is pretty relaxed as I don’t have classes everyday of the week. When I do have class I’m home a lot between classes and have time to check on animals every 2 hours. I live near campus so I can take your pet on walks around campus or to the park. I live in a pet free and smoke free apartment and can easily crate your pet if needed.
“Emily was fantastic again taking care of my pup for daycare. She sent adorable pictures and videos throughout the day and did a report card. She is very reliable and communicative, and I know my pup is loved and safe with her. You can’t put a price on that!”

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life, so I am very comfortable around animals. I have a beagle mix named Ada who is friendly with other dogs as long as they aren’t too big! I have experience with puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats. I would be honored if you entrusted me with your fur babies! I am currently a graduate student at UK with flexibility in my weekday schedule. I have reliable transportation, and I am willing to take care of your fur babies on weekends. I have access to a dog park within walking distance of my apartment. I'm very reliable, and I am more than willing to send you text and picture updates of your pets frequently!
About: My name is Bridget! Ever since I can remember, animals have always been something I love and adore. I have two dogs of my own, who are trained and the sweetest, most playful dogs. I will treat your dog or cat just like it’s my own when taking care of it, by showing them all the love and making sure they get to exercise and play. I treat all dogs and cats almost like they are babies or children, with care and love! They will always get the attention they deserve when under my care, and I will make sure to always try my best to treat them like it’s their home because it is hard for pets to leave their owners and I understand that.
About: My family has had dogs since before I was born. We have had labs, mutts, pitbulls, and any other breed the humane society found for us. We are a family of foster fails, but have so much love for our furry found family. One of our pitbulls at home is a certified therapy dog thanks to countless hours my sister spent at trainings (and I happened to also attend because she needed a ride). I am also lucky enough to have a personal dog-trainer on call if needed, and I have had my fair share of experiences with giving dogs any medications they may need. I am excited to give your pet the love and attention they deserve while you get the time off that you deserve. I have dog-sat for puppy and senior St. Bernard’s as well as sheep dogs, little dogs, and every dog in-between. I am unemployed, so I have plenty of hours in the day to care for your furry friend. I just graduated college with a bachelors in Biology, and am taking a gap year before starting up vet school. When I am not pet-sitting, I am volunteering at Lexington humane society. So my schedule is flexible and I am more than happy to work around what you and your pet need. I have a fenced back yard that I like to let the dogs play in. I’ll usually take the dogs on a walk in the morning and then the evening. In between, if the dog is up to it, we’ll spend some time outside maybe throwing a ball or favorite toy. I usually ask that the owner gets a list together for their dog’s daily schedule, so I can keep the dog’s life as normal and comfortable as possible. The list I ask for usually includes what time meals are, when the dogs go out, how often you want them exercising, what meds are needed, how long you’ll need me, etc. It all just depends on what you as the owner are looking for.
About: My name is Vivi (she/her)! I have been watching, sitting and walking dogs for over four years. I have a keen sense of animal personality and behaviour and have always enjoyed being around them. I've been known by many as *the* dog whisperer--you're in excellent hands here! I live with my friends downtown, but return to my parents house for dog care. Someone's always home for bookings. I work on my own projects between interacting with dogs, and I can take a break at any time. I have a karate class on Mondays and Thursdays, during which I hand off work to one of my parents for just a bit. Your pets are always in good hands here! I believe in being careful with pets and that they should be comfortable with their environment. The best interactions come from mutual trust between pet and caretaker.

“Exceptional Dog Walker Mary has been walking my two dogs (a chocolate lab and a bloodhound) every day and has been an absolute lifesaver. Here’s why she’s great: · Dependable: She is on time and reliable. · Caring & Attentive: She genuinely loves my dogs and pays close attention to their needs and behavior. · Excellent Communication: After every walk, she takes the time to tell me how they did and shares any details. · Handles Large Breeds: She is confident and wonderful with my big, sometimes stubborn, bloodhound and energetic lab. I highly recommend Mary to anyone looking for a first-rate dog walker!”

“Kelli is great with Ranger. I can tell by the photos when she is with him that he is comfortable & at ease with her. We've already rebooked Kelli for another week of care this Fall.”

“We’re so impressed with how attentive Rhianna is to our sweet Barney, a new rescue at 5 years old learning to walk on a leash. He loves her already and comes home happy and tired and satisfied! We just need some temporary help after an injury and hospitalization but I can see this becoming a new part of Barney’s life as it makes him so happy! I definitely recommend Rhianna to anyone who needs a caring, dependable dog walker.”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my whole life, first with pets growing up, and now as a proud dog mom who works from home full time. That means I can give your pet real attention, not just a quick pop in. I have an anxious dog of my own, so I completely understand how much pets thrive on routine, familiar surroundings, and a calm presence. It’s why I believe in caring for pets in their own space and decided to join Rover. I’ll never rush your pet or force interaction and let them warm up at their own pace. I also have years of experience with the senior dogs in my family, so I’m comfortable with slower walks, medications, and the extra gentleness older pets deserve. I offer drop in visits, dog walking, and overnight house sitting. When I stay overnight, my own dog stays home with my partner so your pet gets my full, undivided attention. My flexible schedule means I can keep your pet’s routine exactly as they know it, with plenty of photo updates along the way! I work from home with a fully flexible schedule, so pet care fits naturally into my day. I can do morning, midday, or evening drop ins and walks, and I’m available for overnight house sitting with plenty of notice or even short notice when my calendar allows. Your pet’s routine stays exactly as they know it. I follow your instructions to the letter: feeding schedules, medications, walking routes, and household rules. I always keep dogs leashed outdoors unless you have a secure fenced yard, double check doors and gates, and send regular photo updates so you have total peace of mind while you’re away :)

Because of this flexibility, I can provide reliable, attentive care and adjust to each pet’s unique routine and energy level. My approach to pet care is structured, attentive, and tailored to each individual pet. Before care begins, I like to understand your pet’s routine, preferences, triggers, and any medical or behavioral needs. • Overnight stays: Maintain normal schedule, walks, feedings, playtime, and companionship. • Drop-ins: Bathroom breaks, feeding, fresh water, enrichment/play, and safety check of the home. • Walks: Safe leash handling, appropriate exercise, and attention to weather and surroundings. Clear communication is important to me, so I provide updates and photos during each visit.
“Haley really did me a solid when she let me know that Ryleigh wasn't feeling good. She took the time to find her meds and give them to her. Truly appreciated that.”

“Leslie was wonderful. She made sure our dog, anxious from moving to a new place, was comfortable and relaxed and gave her all the love and pets. She also gave great updates about each visit. Will book 100xs over!”

“Taylor has been taking care of our brand new Coonhound, and she has been so patient and easygoing with our sweet pup who's kinda anxious and settling in. She came over every day this week and we booked her again for the upcoming week! And as a new dog owner, I especially appreciate that she texts me regularly and keeps me updated about how Buster Posey is when she gets there and how did he on his walks.”

About: As a dog owner and foster, I have experience caring for senior dogs, nervous rescues, and multiple dogs at once. I prioritize individualized care, patience, and creating a stress-free environment. I work from home full-time, giving me the flexibility to provide attentive care, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship so pets feel safe and comfortable. I believe consistency is important for pets, so I follow their established routine for meals, walks, exercise, and rest. I provide attentive care, patience, and an stress-free environment while making sure owners stay updated. I have a fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time and two senior dogs who are calm and friendly companions.
“Jennifer was initially communicative, and took good care of our little Pomeranian while we went away. After being prompted, she did send some sweet photos, which was nice. We were pleased with our decision to choose her as our sitter!”

“Kathryn was great with our dogs. We felt comfortable being out of town with them in her care. She sent us photos throughout the stay to keep us updated during the week away. We will be using Kathryn again for any future needs - thank you again!”
“Went well, my pup seems happy and well taken care of. A little hard to communicate, but they were flexible with my pickup and drop off times. They took him to the dog park and on multiple walks.”

“Nathan is great! He kelp my Pitt Krystee for seven days. Each day he sent videos and pictures of how she was doing! He treated Krystee as if she was his own! I highly recommend Nathan for pet sitting, and will use Nathan again next month when I go out of town again! Thank you Nathan for taking such good care of Krystee!!!”

“This was my second time having Kath and Jordan watch Duncan and I have nothing but great things to say! He loves it there and they make him feel super comfortable being away from home. They do a great job with sending me photos so I know he’s doing well. I couldn’t recommend them enough!!”

“Audrey and Samuel are amazing they always take great care of my pups! Our dogs are a handful but they love having them and the dogs always get so excited when we turn down their street!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. Throughout my childhood I’ve had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, parrots and fish in all stages of life. I’ve learned to cater to every need because of this, as every pet needs something specific to their age, size and personality. I can handle pets of all sizes and energy levels, and will treat each just as I would one of my own. I’m a full-time college student home for Summer break, and I have a very open schedule that I would love to fill surrounded by fur babies. I’d like to make pet sitting my full-time job for the season, so I have lots of flexibility and availability. I have a large fully fenced in back yard and live in close proximity to a dog park. I currently have one of my own super friendly dogs at home, and I have plenty of space to welcome yours, and/or separate them comfortably if needed for whatever reason.
“This was the first time I had left my five-year-old corgi since adopting him five months ago. Laura gave him all the attention and walks he needed. My only disappointment was that he wasn’t more excited to see me when I got back! He will definitely remember Laura next time.”
