About: With a lifetime of experience living with dogs and cats and a year of consistent dogsitting, I’m confident caring for pets of all ages and energy levels. I provide in-home overnight stays, drop-ins, and dog walking to help keep your pet comfortable in their familiar space. As a paraeducator, I’m organized, calm under pressure, and attentive to individual needs. I have a very flexible schedule right now, which allows me to dedicate consistent time and attention to pet care. Before care begins, I like to understand your pet’s routine, preferences, triggers, and any medical or behavioral needs. • Overnight stays: Maintain normal schedule, walks, feedings, playtime, and companionship. • Drop-ins: Bathroom breaks, feeding, fresh water, enrichment/play, and safety check of the home. • Walks: Safe leash handling, appropriate exercise, and attention to weather and surroundings. Clear communication is important to me, so I provide updates and photos during each visit.

I work from home with a fully flexible schedule, so pet care fits naturally into my day. I can do morning, midday, or evening drop ins and walks, and I’m available for overnight house sitting with plenty of notice or even short notice when my calendar allows. Your pet’s routine stays exactly as they know it. I follow your instructions to the letter: feeding schedules, medications, walking routes, and household rules. I always keep dogs leashed outdoors unless you have a secure fenced yard, double check doors and gates, and send regular photo updates so you have total peace of mind while you’re away :)

About: Hi, I'm Brooke! I'm a recent UofL grad and love meeting new furry friends! I grew up with both cats and dogs, and began caring for neighbors’ pets at 10 years old. Since then, I’ve had years of experience with house sitting, daily walks, and drop-in visits for neighbors and family friends, often working through word of mouth and personal recommendations. I’ve worked as both a stay-in pet sitter and a weekly dog walker, and I love making sure animals feel safe, loved, and well-cared for. I have experience caring for puppies, kittens, high-energy animals, and senior pets with special needs, and am comfortable adapting to a wide range of temperaments and energy levels. What sets me apart is my reliability, communication, and attention to care when it comes to treating animals with the patience, love, and respect they need.🩷 I am currently on my gap year between undergraduate and medical school, so pet care will be my full time job! I am able to stay the majority of the day at client's homes if needed, but may need to step out for an hour or two to get food and/or groceries for my stay. I always try to meet with the family before sitting or dropping-in so that I understand how any pets are used to their home feeling. I will follow all instructions left by the owners, and try to keep a loving and clean environment for the animals. I also try to be very communicative with owners about any questions or concerns, and will gladly provide daily pictures/videos of animals to the owners. I also love playing with animals and making sure they get enough activity so they can get some fresh air and love! Additionally, I am a pre-medical student and have many hours of emergency experience with basic life support (BLS) and have taken a veterinary BLS course. I know how to administer CPR and perform the Heimlich maneuver on cats and dogs. I also have experience administering injected medication and subcutaneous fluids to cats and dogs. (I do not have experience administering care to additional animals at this time.) I also look up the closest veterinary ER prior to a stay, and am prepared to drive any animals in case of an emergency.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I've worked on horse farms since I was 16, earned my bachelors in equine science and have a masters of science degree. I currently have two dogs and two cats of my own. I also have a strong understanding of animal behaviors and body language. I am also very passionate in dog training as well. I have experience in administering IM medications and oral medications. I have worked for WAG! which is another walking/boarding platform where I would walk clients dogs on demand and also provided in home boarding. A typical day for me starts between 7-9 am where I immediately let the dogs out to use the bathroom and then back in for breakfast. I occasionally leave the house to run errands but usually not longer than 2 hours. Can tailor to your dogs need if they can't be left alone. Throughout the day I will let the dogs outside as they wish and always with supervision. I feed dinner around 6:30pm. For drop in visits I am able to tailor for whatever your animals needs are and typically available for multiple drop in visits during the day if needed. I have a large fenced in yard. I have two friendly dogs and two friendly cats. I have multiple rooms if your pet needs so quiet time or space from the other animals. I am equipped with multiple crates and baby gates as well if needed. I have a backseat dog hammock and and dog seat belts if needed as well.

About: I've had both dogs and cats. My dog was an 80 pound malamute (the runt of her litter) that I used to walk around my neighborhood--though most of the dogs I have cared for have been much smaller. In the past, I have adopted cats from my friends and taken in a neighbor's cat. I have cared for the pets of my friends and neighbors for work, travel, and illness. I'm retired. I enjoy reading and gardening. I occasionally go out some evenings but otherwise I have plenty of time flexibility for pet sitting. To care for pets in a client's home, I would want to meet with the client and their pet before an assignment. This would be helpful to know the client's expectations and to get acquainted with and build trust with the pet(s). I own a home where I have cared for my friend's pets during emergencies.

About: I've lived in a cat household for 17 years and have loved every second of it! I also have experience doing drop-ins, walks, and overnights with dogs ranging from the puppy stage to senior dogs. I love the snuggles and play time, and would love to help take care of your fur babies whenever needed! I'm currently working part-time and work no later than 4 PM, so I am quite flexible and very dependable when needed! I live in south-central Lexington and am 10-15 minutes away from just about everywhere in town. I understand how important it is to ensure the happiness of your fur babies. I will engage your dog or cat in fun playtime that lets them get their energy out, take them on walks (if applicable), and then top it all off with a good meal and plenty of belly rubs to make any furry friend happy.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and try to keep pets on their normal routine so they feel relaxed and secure. I pay close attention to their behavior, making sure they have enough exercise, playtime, and affection. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. About: I grew up with dogs. As an adult rescued a dog, worked w rescues for over 10 yrs. Fostered rescues, worked at animal shelter. My own dogs I show and personal service train for me. I work full time at night and have time days and evenings for your fur babies. Work anytime around both yours and my schedule too. Because I live in apartment, I have fenced park to play. Play with my dogs too. Can be crated for safety too while I work. I have cameras on my dogs at all times for safety.
