“Joy was awesome! She walked my puppy 5 different nights while my husband and I were taking a class in the evenings. I had total peace of mind knowing my dog was in her care. We were always sent updates and pictures to know what they were up to! I know that Joy treated her just like she would her own dog.”

“Flexible in schedule, dogs love her, highly recommend”

“Elli has done a wonderful job with our high-energy, 1-year-old lab mix. She’s reliable and we’re so happy to have found her.”

“Jordan was great. She was also EXTREMELY accommodating. My other dog walker fell through, so it was very last minute. But she was able to help me out. I will definitely use her again.”

“Julie is the best. She took very good care of our senior dogs, particularly when one was very ill. She understands dog behavior and how to deal with various dog personalities, which is comforting when you are leaving your loved ones with others. My dog gets very excited when she arrives. She had a big heart, and I could not recommend her more.”

About: Over the last 15 years i have cared for a variety of dogs in many locations. Off leash camping and hiking, senior dog care, blindness, and insulin dependant diabetic dogs. My current 2 dogs were raised from puppies and trained by myself and my wife. My household has 2 dogs that i am responsible for. I feed, bathe, and exercise both. Occasionally i also sit for extended family's dogs, since they are less friendly and i do very well with them. My wife and i sont have children, so our dogs fill that role in our lives. In the past, i have cared for my elderly diabetic dog, including insulin injections, oral medication, and blindness support. I have also cared for and am experienced in dogs with epilepsy.

About: I grew up on a farm and cared for animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, mules, goats, and chickens. I also had several small indoor animals, like a frog, bird, and hamsters. I currently have 3 indoor cats and a horse that I board here in Lexington. My husband and I also own a bloodhound, but he is living up north with family due to apartment living and his age-related health complications . I miss having dogs and would love the opportunity to play, walk, and love on your pups. I also love spending time with kitties. My cats are very spoiled, and I also spoil the barn cats at the farm where I board my horse. I joined Rover as a hobby because I genuinely love animals and enjoy spending time with them. I work at the University of Kentucky as a cancer research project manager. I am salary and set my own hours, and work a hybrid schedule. I typically work from 6am-2pm, but this is flexible. I am free most weekends. I genuinely love animals and want to give them all the care, love, cuddles, and playtime that they deserve. Going from a farm to my apartment has made me miss having/ caring for all animals.

“Joni is amazing! My dog has a lot of energy and Joni walks her daily. Joni is fantastic at communicating throughout the day and always makes an effort to ensure that both my dog and I are more than happy with how things are going.”

About: I provide reliable, loving care for both dogs and cats, with several years of hands-on experience. I have experience working with several animals, dogs and cats, that have unique health needs and I tailor my care to each pet’s needs. My goal is to keep your pets happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. I currently work Tuesday- Friday full time and half days on Saturdays. My work is flexible and allows me to leave and check in on pets throughout the day. I also free most nights and can be flexible! My cat is extremely friendly and loves both other cats and dogs. I am also comfortable with crating your dog or making sure they are kept in specific areas of your home!

About: Ask anyone what I love most, aside from my family, and they will tell you animals! I’m a dog fanatic, and all around animal lover! We have one dog and a hedgehog currently! I work full time, but I always take my dog for a walk before school, I’m always home by 4:00 PM and usually the rest of the night! My dog and I go for walks and play and snuggle! I have a huge backyard where dogs can run but I always walk my dog on a leash! We are a very dog friendly neighborhood and usually our dog meets other dogs along the walk! I work full time as an assistant principal at a local high school but 2 of my 3 kids drive, so I have a lot more free time before and after school hours! My dog is literally like a child to me. She sleeps in my bed, gets lots of belly rubs, and your pet will be pampered also!

“Maddie has been amazing since day 1. She responds quickly and is wonderful with my dog. When I book a walk with her I know I can trust that he’ll be well taken care of. It gives me such peace of mind knowing he’s in good hands when I can’t be there.”

“It is my pleasure to recommend Tracy for pet sitting. Tracy recently did pet sitting for my 2 cats. Her passion and love for animals was evident immediately. Pets know who they can trust and who will care for them in a loving and 'family' way. Tracy Kept me updated by sending frequent texts and pictures of my cats which was comforting. Finally, Tracy is confident, independent and trustworthy. Me and my cats would have Tracy to petsit for us again.”
