I’ve always loved animals, ever since I adopted my first two cats. I also volunteer at the Lexington Humane Society, where I get to work with all kinds of animals. This experience has gives me plenty of hands-on time with both large and small dogs. I understand that some pets take a little time to warm up to new people, and I’m always happy to adjust my approach to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for!

When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep things consistent with their normal schedule and environment. I follow any specific instructions for feeding, walks, medication, or crate time, and I make sure to keep their space tidy and secure. My goal is to make sure every pet feels happy, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away.

A typical day
I love keeping pets active and happy! Depending on their energy level and personality, we might go for walks, play fetch, have some tug-of-war time, or just hang out and cuddle. For dogs that love to explore, I enjoy taking them on safe neighborhood walks or to a nearby park. For pets that are more low-key, I make sure they still get plenty of attention, playtime, and snuggles. My goal is always to make sure they’re having fun and feeling loved while they’re with me!
