About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for many years and have experience pet sitting for multiple families, including drop-in visits and overnight care. I’ve cared for cats regularly over several years, watched dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all kinds. I also volunteer through Doggy Day Out at the shelter, where I help walk and socialize dogs, and I grew up with a family dog, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’m in search for my new study buddy to keep me company while I do my flash cards! I am currently in medical school, and my class schedule is predictable but flexible. With a low amount of required activities, I am available to spend more time with your babies! I usually study from home, which means we can both keep each-other company :) I have experience in dog sitting and house sitting. About: I’ve been providing excellent dog walking/sitting services for 5 years with neighbors and friends. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, throughout all ages. I’ve had over 15 dogs throughout my lifetime and they hold a special place in my heart! I’m currently a student at the University of Kentucky and have classes on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. I’m available all day Monday and Wednesday. I have a loving and friendly Bernese Mountain Dog living with me and a fenced in dog park with obstacles to play on. If your dog requires to be crated I can easily do that too!

About: Hi! I’m the kind of person the animal distribution system always seems to find. I currently have 3 cats and 1 dog of my own, and I’ve spent basically my entire life caring for animals of all kinds. I’m newer to Rover, but not new to pet care. I regularly pet sit for friends, family, coworkers and whoever I’m referred to and can provide reviews/references if desired. I also previously worked as an animal caretaker at PetSmart, where I gained experience caring for a wide variety of personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I’m very intuitive, patient, and nurturing with animals and genuinely try to form bonds with them instead of just “checking a box” during visits. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, clingy, anxious, or just wants someone calm around, I do my best to meet them where they’re at when they’re missing you! I currently offer drop-ins and walks, and I’m big on communication and photo updates. As an amateur animal photographer, there’s a good chance you’ll receive unexpectedly cute pictures while you’re away. I’m currently working as a part-time caretaker with a flexible schedule M-F so I have plenty of times available to walk and play with your fur babies! My home is available for boarding even just a night or long weekends as well if it’s a good fit :) My home is a pet and plant sanctuary! Lots of time is spent cuddling, playing and bonding. I tend to each individual pets needs and routines. I have a fenced in backyard for playtime and a great neighborhood for walks/sniffs. I can crate your dog or continue any training you have going on with them as well. Feline friendly with lots of climbing and toys.

About: I have taken care of pets for friends, family, and my own for over 30 years. I foster for the Cavalier Rescue USA and find fostering very rewarding. I will take care of your pets like they are my own. I work full-time but can do drop-ins in the evening during weekdays, on the weekends my availability is flexible. I do require a meet and greet before confirming a booking. Boarding in my home is possible with cat-friendly dogs. Overnight stays and boarding will be considered upon request. I live in a townhouse with an amazing courtyard. My cat loves to hang out and lay in the sun and relax. She loves to hide in the areas of the courtyard that have large plants. The area in Lexington where I live has great sidewalks and greenspace, thus a great place for exercise for your dog should they board with me.

I have taken care of elderly dogs and raised 3 beautiful pups to wonderful doggos and 3 cats! I often dog/cat sit for friends and family and would happy to help any of you! About: I’m 21 years old and have grown up around animals my entire life. I have hands on experience caring for a wide range of pets, especially dogs of all sizes and breeds. I’ve had dogs my whole life from Chihuahuas and Dachshunds to Pit Bulls and Belgian Shepherds so I’m comfortable with everything from small, high energy pups to large, working breeds. I still care for my childhood Dachshund and currently have a Belgian Shepherd, which has given me strong experience with daily routines, training basics, exercise needs, and attentive care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. Pet care is my full time job, so it’s fully built into my daily and weekly routine. About: In addition to my family's childhood dog Ish, I've owned and cared for two others in my adult life. My wife and I rescued Lily, our 8 year old Beagle mix from the shelter she was born in, at 2 months old. This little girl presented a whole host of challenges we'd never experienced before. I personally took her through group obedience training for several weeks which curbed a good bit of her issues as a young pup. I continued to work with her well after the training, but it was apparent that she needed a bit more enforcement to be the dog we wanted her to be. At that point, she was about 4 years old and she did not completely obey us. So, we signed up for a few months of one on one obedience school with a dedicated trainer who worked with us as owners and of course, Lily. We learned so much valuable information from this professional that we still use daily. In Fall 2018, we fostered Hyde, a sweet 7-8 year old Pit mix who was brought to Vermont from South Carolina via the Passion 4 Paws rescue group. A week into the foster, we adopted him for many reasons. He's the most gentle and easy going older dog who just wants to play, eat and cuddle. This guy integrated nicely into our family and got along well with Lily, and vice versa. We couldn't bear to give him up to another family and make him re-locate once again. We could tell he wanted to stay in our home for his duration. He unfortunately had to be put down November 2022 but we will always feel his presence. We've fostered puppies, dog-sat for multiple dogs at once and provided extra care for senior dogs who required insulin injections, eye/ear meds, etc. Currently, I'm taking classes at home and can easily drop what I'm doing and take your dogs for a walk, drop in for feeding and watering, etc. I'm new to Lexington but have already explored many of the areas dog parks and outdoor areas. Currently I cannot offer in-home boarding due to my dog Lily's unwillingness to share space in her old age. She can be possessive over her food, toys and her owners. In your home, I'm willing to do just about anything your dog or cat needs within reason. Just talk to me beforehand and let me know what's needed.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 8 but began house sitting when I turned 16. I have experienced taking care of dogs, cats , horses and even chickens. while looking after your fur babies they will be given excellent care as if they were my own. A love to photograph animals so with my care come a free mini photoshoot. With your permission of course! My 1 year old black lab absolutely loves to play with others. So if your pup needs a buddy to burn off some energy she’s your pup . I work 6:30am to 2:30pm but I’m free the rest of the time to do pop in or walks. If I’m staying at your house I bring in my own food and drink. And stay with your fur baby the whole time. If I’m in home sitting I do a minimum of 3 30 min walks a day. 1 before work ,after work and before bed. And depending on your fur babies energy I’ll add in extra play time if needed. I’m stuck to strictly feeding schedules so whatever time you have them eat I’ll make sure to do they same. To help keep them in their normal routine. If I’m doing a drop in I can go walks /runs for about an hour unless you need me to take them for more time.
