About: I am currently a small animal veterinarian licensed in both Kentucky and Georgia, but have been in the veterinary medical field since 2009, starting out as a vet assistant. While I have enjoyed helping animals throughout my veterinary career, I have decided to step away from the long, demanding hours of clinical medicine in order to have a better work-life balance so that I can spend more time with my family. Pet sitting allows me to continue doing what I love, which is caring for animals. As a veterinarian, I have worked with all ages and breeds of dogs and cats, and I am comfortable administering medications, caring for senior pets, and supporting animals with special medical needs. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy or a senior with more in depth needs, my goal is to make every pet feel comfortable and loved while you're away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own, providing regular updates, photos, and plenty of attention so you can have peace of mind and enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in experienced, compassionate hands. Whether you need drop-in visits, walks, or help with a pet who needs a little extra time and attention, I'd love to meet you and your best friend! As a veterinarian transitioning away from full-time clinical practice to create more time for my family, I now have the flexibility to provide attentive, reliable care for pets throughout the day. Whether it's walks, drop-in visits, playtime, or medication administration, I can easily build my schedule around each pet's individual needs. Caring for animals has always been more than just my profession, it's something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to every day. When caring for pets in your home, I strive to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and any special needs to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable while you're away.

About: I've had dogs since I was three. I grew up with beagles but have owned a German shepherd, pitties and now an English bulldog. As well as an iguana, frogs, toads, parakeets and hamsters. Oh, and a pigeon. I've always been the one who had to save every living creature. Neighbors have brought me wounded yard creatures to try and save. Saved wild baby bunnies from a bad case of bloat. I've taken first aid/CPCR class. I can trim nails, bathe, walk, run, teach, snuggle and play. I really enjoy brushing them, it strengthens our bond and trust. I will keep them safe and love them like my own. I have cared for puppies to seniors. My animals tend to live long lives. I've never really met an animal I didn't want to kiss. I try to kiss every nose I see. I am a Air Force veteran and no longer work. So I can come to your pet anytime. Kids are grown and don't need me. I can care for your animals in your home. I also provide transportation, if needed. Leashes and car seat belts are a must for me. I have very few limitations, since I don't work a regular job anymore. Feel free to ask me anything. About: Hi, I’m Katie! I’m a college student living in Lexington. I love animals - I have two cats of my own! I have lots of pet care experience, including kitten/puppy and senior pet care. Check out my profile to see if we’d be a good fit! Currently I’m available weekends (Sat+Sun) and on select weekdays (Monday and Friday). I am also available during select hours on Tuesday-Thursday, but please message me before hand as I am working around my student schedule. Trust is important with pets! I always make sure to monitor body language and allow them to take as much time as they need to greet. I also ensure they remain comfortable throughout a visit!

About: I’ve been a pet lover since I was a little girl, I’ve grown up multiple family pets and have watched dogs for family and friends when they are out of town. I am also a proud owner of an extremely playful miniature Bernedoodle. I love getting to meet and spend time with new furry friends and I can’t wait to meet yours! Regularly sending updates, photos, and videos to owners to keep them informed about their dog's well-being. I've done it all! Animals are a passion of mine! I'm a mama to 2 dogs and 1 cat! Their spoiled at their core! Let me spoil your pet too! Tuesdays are my only day of the week im not available. The rest of the week is open to work around my routine. Thank you I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to play and run. I have two pups to keep your pup company. I have a safety fence in my house as well if your needing your pet separated from mine. Your pets safety is my upmost concern! I will keep your pet active by playing outside with them.

About: I have 2 years of experience as a veterinary assistant, and over my life I have had 2 dogs and 2 cats. I currently live with my adorable kitty. I love my cat so much and I would give your dog the same amount of care and love :) I am a college student and have class in the morning. On Wednesday and Fridays my day ends around 3:30 but the other days end between 10-12. Preferred to go into the client's home since I have pets myself. If you have specific requests for your animal, I try to abide by that as best as possible. With dogs, I prefer to always keep them on a leash outside if there is no fenced yard.

About: I have grown up with dogs and puppies my whole life. I take my pets to get groomed and to their vet appointments, make them fun treats, walk them, and make sure their needs are fully met. My dogs have grown up kennel trained so I know how important it is to make the kennel a positive space. I also understand that giving dogs human food can make their stomachs upset and keeping them on their regular diet is imperative. I am currently a student at UK and only have classes on Tuesday and Thursday. My Wednesdays are full with shadowing at Bluegrass Orthopedics. My Mondays, Fridays, and weekends are free typically. I am not allowed to to have dogs in my home because I currently rent. I am willing to drive them places though. I am willing to bring them to my house for short periods of time under certain circumstances.

About: I’ve causally pet sit for my friends plenty of times and I am very comfortable taking care of dogs. I would love to be your pets bestie:) Right as of this moment I’m working part time so most of my shifts are 5hrs. Either 10-3 or 3-8pm. I will try to spend as much time as possible with your pet. I’m going to make sure they get some exercise in before I head off to work. I offer lots of cuddles and play ! I will make sure to keep your pet’s routine intact. I’m available to house sit if needed.

About: I have been caring of a variety fur babies since I was a kid. I have experience with working with both younger and older fur babies. I am currently working full time while coming my masters online in counseling so I do have flexibility with working overnights. If need more availability please contact me. I have a fenced area at my apartment complex for dogs if needed. I have a variety of teats and toys for cats if needed.

About: I’ve grew up on a farm so I’ve always had animals around, and I love animals. When I was little I would find myself picking up a bird because it couldn’t fly. My family has always had a dog, so I know how to take care of them. If they need special attention, or treatment just let me know and I would be more than willing to accommodate and help!! I can’t wait to meet and take care of your fur babies!! I’m currently attending Asbury University in Wilmore KY. Weekdays, I’m available in the mornings, some afternoons, and open again in the evenings. Weekends I am free after 12! I would love to check in on your pets during the day, stay with them, or tale them on walks! I have one senior dog, and a dog that just turned 1 so I have expereince with al the ages in between!

About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They had grandkids to see and wanted to explore as many different countries as they could. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.

About: Hi! I am a traveling healthcare professional working in Lexington looking to care for some fur babies! Depending on the distance I am available for overnight stays. I am available most weekends and some weekdays. I have 2 cats! I’ve had experience with dogs, cats, birds, small animals, fish, and some reptiles. I do work a full time job during the week. 12 hour shifts in Lexington. My weekends are available and weekdays will vary depending on my schedule. My cats are indoor. I do have one leash trained and we do take walks. One requires eye drops daily. 2 pet feedings per day as well.
