About: I grew up on a farm, where caring for animals of all kinds—including dogs, cats, and livestock—was part of everyday life. I have 5+ years of experience raising dogs and 3 years working in a dog boarding facility, caring for multiple dogs with different needs, routines, and temperaments. I also worked for a veterinarian, gaining experience with safe handling, health awareness, and attentive care. In addition, I have 3 years of experience training puppies starting as young as 3 days old, focusing on early socialization, routine building, and positive reinforcement. Whether I’m caring for puppies, adult dogs, senior pets, cats, or farm animals, I provide dependable, loving, and detail-oriented care. I treat every animal like family and prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness while you’re away. I am a full time chiropractic student, so I will have time in the early morning and late evening on weekdays. I will also be available all day during the weekends! I care for pets by following their normal routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. I take time to understand each pet’s needs, including feeding, exercise, medications, and preferences. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, enrichment, and lots of affection. Safety and comfort are always my priorities, and I closely monitor behavior and health. I’m experienced with puppies, senior pets, cats, and farm animals, and I adjust my care to fit each pet. I also send regular updates and photos so owners can feel at ease while away.

About: Hi there! Thanks so much you for checking out my profile ☺️ A bit about me: I recently moved to Cincy with my kitty Dany (full name: Daenerys Stormborn Targaryen). She’s a sociable and classically talkative Tortoiseshell (pictured above) and I love her to pieces! I’m a dietitian and health-tech professional by trade looking for some supplemental work while I hunt for full time position. I've grown up with dogs, cats, fish, and hamsters in my home and have had many sitting jobs for family and friends throughout the years. I promise to be the loving and reliable caretaker you're searching for to provide the best care for your pet. Past sitter-seekers have described me as dependable, attentive, and great with communication. If this sounds like what you're looking for, please don’t hesitate to message me or send a request my way! I do not currently have a full time job, so my schedule is wide open! Give me a reason to stay busy please and thanks 🙏🏻 My apartment complex is gated and I’m right next to the Wasson Trail, so your boarded pup will be going on my daily walks (as able, of course!). My home is a quiet and calm ground floor unit perfect for easy potty breaks with great windows for people watching (just ask my cat). I am tidy, especially at other folks’ homes, so you can expect a mess-free drop-in visit and/or sitting experience.

I’m currently in college with a major in agriculture hoping to be a vet in the future! I’m currently on summer break so I have a lot of free time at the moment! I can house sit, drop in visits, and do walks in the evening or at whatever time on my days off! I can only care for your pets in your home since I live in a dorm! About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience dog sitting and dog walking for family, friends, and others. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies to senior dogs. I have experience providing senior pets with the extra patience, attention, and care they may need, including helping maintain their regular routines. I’m also comfortable administering medications, including oral medicine, pills, eye drops, and other medications as directed by the owner. I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention and work around their usual routines. I’m respectful of each home and pay close attention to doors, gates, leashes, medications, and anything else that helps keep pets safe. I want owners to feel confident knowing their pets are in loving and responsible hands, and I’ll treat every pet like my own!

About: I have been raised around animals and pets(livestock, dogs, cats, birds, etc.) ever since I could remember. I lived in a farm town with a wide variety of animals. My mother also owned a boarding and grooming facility that I was raised at feeding, watering, and walking the animals. I’m a senior at Lindsey Wilson University, I graduate in December ‘26. During the summer, May 19th through August 25th I’ll be available! After August 25th, I will still be available. However, I do need to be on campus in Columbia, KY every Tuesday & Thursday from 8am-12:30pm Central Time. I would love to come spend some time with your pet! Please reach out with any questions! I have had two dogs in my lifetime that were my sole responsibility. I have had one cat that I shared with my mother. I love to play fetch with my own pup and go on hikes with him as well. I had a lop-eared bunny I rescued as well, during my move to Kentucky I had to give him to my best friend.

About: I was born into an animal-loving family and I have continued to instill this love for animals in my own children. I have had a menagerie of animals all of my life. At the young age of 12, I started walking the neighbors' dogs and going to their houses when they were out of town to feed, water, and walk their pets. In college, I worked part-time in several different veterinary clinics. I am still very well connected to the veterinary world so if I am unsure of something involving my pets, I am able to reach out to get an answer pretty quickly. Over my lifetime of 40 yrs. I have had at least 20 dogs, 10 cats, several rabbits, horses, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and a few reptiles (but no snakes). In my full-time job, I have a hybrid work schedule. Some days I am in the office and some days I work from home. This allows some flexibility when caring for fur babies. My family also helps care for our "animal guests". It is a group effort! I have a 1/2 acre that is fenced. I have 3 dogs- a Newfoundland, Black Lab, and a Beagle. All of my dogs are rescues. I know that I rescued them but as cheesy as it sounds, most days I feel like they rescued me. Each of them has their own personality, which I love. My dogs are usually always by my side when I am home. My dogs love to jump on the bed or couch and get snuggles. I also have 3 cats. All of them found us. They were all dumped on us and of course, I couldn't turn them away. :) I would treat your animals the same way I treat mine- with love and snuggles.

About: I have been around pets my whole life, but dogs are my favorite! I love them all, from puppies to the senior friends. I regularly care for my family dogs and I have experience caring for friends dogs and I have several regular clients. I have experience with puppy care and training, bathing, feeding, and administering medication. I also have experience with senior dog care nearing the end of life and all others in between. I have no trouble creating the special bond needed with most dog personalities. Dogs are truly our best friends! I play and exercise my own dogs daily. I understand the importance of keeping dogs engaged, healthy, and active. I do have a part-time job, but schedules are flexible given enough notice. I am so excited to care for your pup! I like to make sure the doggie is a happy, tired doggie when I do have to leave them. They love me and know fun is in store when I’m around. I play fetch and frisbee in the backyard and go on long walks around the neighborhood. If we can’t be outside I’ll play games with them indoors to challenge their minds and keep them occupied. Then of course there’s snuggle time together until they’re ready to nap or go to sleep in their crates or bed.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Shakertown. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Shakertown.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Shakertown. On Rover:

  • 100% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
