“Mikayla has been/is exactly what we needed for our furkids! She obviously cares about what she does and takes her job seriously, in the same way I would. We have a large Newfoundland and she handles her perfectly! Moreover, she handles the environment perfectly, too. Since our dog is a big, furry Newfoundland, many people want to let her, interact with her, etc. However, since she is still a puppy, and a 100 lb puppy, she still can excited and occasionally jump, etc. While these are getting far less frequent, it still is a possibility and one I'm very aware of when it comes to other people. Twice now, Mikayla has told me about strangers approaching her wanting to pet our Newfoundland and Mikayla handled it perfectly. Right now, for several reasons, I prefer strange people, particularly, strange children, not interact with her on a walk. (Not only for obvious reasons, but I want to get her CGC and we want her to ignore things like that.). Dealing with people, I think, requires as much, if not more, ability when caring for pets as does the pet care itself. Mikayla has both skills in abundance and we couldn't be happier!”

I have a safety fence in my house as well if your needing your pet separated from mine. Your pets safety is my upmost concern! I will keep your pet active by playing outside with them.

About: Hi, I’m Esther! My family has experience training service dogs so I’m passionate about teaching good behaviors to make everyone’s lives easier. Most of my experience is with younger dogs but I love taking care of seniors too. I currently don’t have any pups so I pet-sit to stay active and continue being around animals. I am a student with a lot of mid day and weekend availability. I’m very flexible, especially on holidays and during school breaks. 12pm-2pm on weekdays are great times for me to do drop in visits or walks. When leaving your pets with me, they’ll be treated as my own. I believe in open and transparent communication so I’ll provide lots of updates. I have skills in leash training, crate training, and grooming. I would love to keep your pet company!
