“She did wonderful with our pups! She even took our energetic guy on runs in the morning and they were attached to her everywhere she went. The pictures and videos sent gave us great peace of mind while we were away! We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Kayla was great! We came home to happy pups! She was very communicative and helpful with our senior dog and of course our crazy Frenchie Winston! She left our home tidy which isn’t always the case with house-sitters. We will definitely ask Kayla to watch our boys again!”

About: Hi, I’m Esther! I’m a college student who has been on Rover for over a year. Most of my experience is with younger dogs but I love taking care of seniors too. I currently don’t have any pups so I pet-sit to stay active and continue being around animals. I am a student with a lot of mid day and weekend availability. I’m very flexible, especially on holidays and during school breaks. I have a lot of experience house sitting as well and I love overnight visits. When leaving your pets with me, they’ll be treated as my own. I believe in open and transparent communication so I’ll provide lots of updates. I have skills in leash training, crate training, and grooming. I would love to keep your pet company! For safety on house sitting appointments, I plan on meeting clients and their pups before providing services to make sure we’re a good fit.

“Allie, was punctual, contentious, responsive , efficient, caring and honest. BUT, MOST OF ALL she loved OUR DOGS. Our 2 dogs have special medical needs and she gave them their meds on time and let us know it was done. She shared wonderful photos of the dogs on a regular basis. Winnie had a seizure and Allie contacted me and sent a video. In consultation with Winnie’s vet we made a plan for what to do if she had another seizure. I felt confident that Winnie would be well cared for. I have already booked Allie for another vacation.”

“Katey was a wonderful companion for our fur fam while we were away for two weeks. We felt really at ease knowing they were so well loved and getting tons of attention! Katey was super communicative with both texts and photos. We have a high energy/anxious dog that I was honestly worried about leaving for an extended time, and Katey stepped right in and cared for him expertly. Thanks!!!”

“Jimmy was an amazing dog nanny for my pup. I had just moved to Lexington and had a non dog friendly vacation planned. Leaving your pup behind is tough but Jimmy made it so easy. I could tell during our meet and greet that he loves animals and my dog loved him. He sent daily photos and some videos so that I knew my pup was in good hands. Even better when I came home she was exhausted from all the adventures they had. He was courteous to my home and did not leave a mess and no complaints about noise from the neighbors. I would highly recommend Jimmy as a dog nanny!”

“Kat was amazing! She’s not only just a cool person, but our dogs took to her immediately. We appreciate the communication while we were away - including pics of the pups lounging the day away. I will definitely book her again in the future.”

“Ella was so great with my dog while I went out of town. It was my first time using Rover and I feel so lucky to have found her. I will definitely be seeing if she’s available for future needs. 10/10 and a super sweet girl!”

About: I have been pet sitting for 5 years and my friends, family and neighbors all have trusted me to take care of their pets for years. I have experience in basic obedience training with young dogs. I have trained my 2 dogs and have done some work with other puppies. I have experience with administrating medicine to senior animals. I also have experience with reptiles, I used to be a pet keeper at a pet store and picked up many useful skills during that time. I am currently working part time. Shifts are about 4 to 7 hours long but only 3 days a week. Daily walks are no problem, I can fit that into my daily schedule. I usually like to discuss with the clients that have booked with me about my schedule for that week. I usually do not house pets in my home due to the fact that we have many animals and things can get difficult. In a client's home I usually follow the instructions that I am provided for the pets diet and routine. I love playing and spending time with all my clients animals!
“Jordan is truly a hidden gem! We feel so lucky to have found her, as we are new to the area and didn’t have anyone that we trusted to watch our 2 dogs. She agreed to house sit despite us making a last minute request and was so accommodating. She loved on our dogs and they absolutely loved her (which is great since they are cautious small dogs who bark at everyone until they trust them). She left the house cleaner than we left it and communicated the entire stay. She sent us adorable pictures and made us feel comfortable during our time away, and we can’t wait to have her back! Thank you, Jordan!”
