About: I’m a certified volunteer handler for service dogs in training at 4 Paws for Ability. Sitters and handlers are trained to train, care for, and accumulate soon to be service dog puppies. I also have have experience as an overnight pet sitter for dogs of all sizes and backgrounds. I am comfortable with any breed and do well with pets suffering from anxiety. I just moved to Lexington to start my PhD program at UK and am excited to get to know the area. A lot of my work and research is done outside of class so little time will be spent away from your pups! It’s totally normal for your pet to get the puppy blues without you there. Some things I do that has often helped ease this anxiety is being available for around the clock care, doing some soothing activities like mat licking, and lots of belly scratches!

About: I have taken care of many dogs ever since I was young, Ive had pet dogs my whole life, and I love loving on them I am a college student, on days I have class, I should be able to take care of the dog in between classes. On days I don't have class, I have much more flexibility to walk dogs and play with them and such. I'm happy to treat your precious pup however you want me to, I love sleeping with dogs in bed at night if that's what they are used to. I love giving them lots of belly rubs (and treats if it's allowed), and taking them on nice long walks.

About: I absolutely love dogsitting! Growing up without any pets of my own, due to an animal allergy that I have outgrown, getting the opportunity to love on your fur babies has been a dream! I work with in a senior citizen home, but I also have taken care of senior dogs before, administering medications, both orally and through an injection. I love treating your fur babies as one of my own and I am more than glad to do whatever you need to make you the most comfortable with me watching your fur babies. I take loads of pictures, videos, etc.! My job is pretty flexible. I can potty your fur babies in the afternoon, if needed. Upon booking, I can provide you my availability! Just ask me, I am more than welcome to let you know when I can pop in to potty your animals during the day :) I love on them, play with them, make sure their water and food bowl is always full when obviously needed. I make sure they are taken outside as often as they need it.

About: I've had at least four dogs as long as I can remember. As a child, they were my first companions and my second caretakers. Even as I grew into an adult, they were always there to comfort me and to brighten the darkest of days. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I am eager to give back what they so willingly give; love, acceptance, understanding, comfort, and joy. In the last two years, I have gone from four dogs to one, due to Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure, and I must admit that their absence has affected me deeply. I miss them so so so much!! I'm one of those people that celebrated their dog's birthdays and bought them copious presents for Christmas. While my friends were pulling out their family pics, I was always pulling out my dog pics. I share this same sentiment towards birds, rabbits, and cats; all of which I had growing up. Being surrounded by animals as a child was a great experience. It even prompted me to volunteer at the ASPCA for almost a year. As I hope you can tell, I will not only provide what your pet needs to survive, but I will also provide him/her with special attention and love. I look forward to meeting with both you and your pet! Until then, take care! I will be able to fulfill any house/pet sitting duties without any issues, as I am able to balance my obligations responsibly and with respect to myself and those that hire me. While pet/house sitting, I will abide the rules given to me. This could include when they play, where they sleep, any medications needed, when to eat, etc.

About: My first job was working at a vet clinic with dogs and 20 years later I’m still passionate about what I do! I am a certified pet care technician with a lifetime of experience working with dogs. Also pet CPR certified. I have a dog grooming area on-site at home as well. Can sent text and photo updates. Professional, experienced, and I love dogs. I Look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I work with dog rescue and dedicate my life to dogs bc it's what I love! I am a current member of APDT Association of professional dog trainers, working towards my dog training certification. I love all breeds but I especially love working with bully breeds. Many boarding facilities do not allow these breeds of dog. Most are just big cuddle bugs, and I am happy to oblige!

About: Ive been taking care of my familys dogs for 6 years, as well as our kittens that turned out to be fully trained cats . I am a full time student at UKy, so ill only be available past 5pm on Tuesday and Thursday, ever other weekday is open. Ill also be available 3pm to 12am on the weekends. I make sure that my animals always get 10ish minutes of out side time every two hours, may it be for a bathroom break or to enjoy outside.

About: I have always had dogs and cats in my life. I have cared for senior animals when it got more difficult and puppies that needed round-the-clock care. I’ve also been trusted by family, neighbors, and friends to care for their homes and pets while they were away. I’m a recent college grad and have not yet found employment, so my schedule is wide open! I will be available Monday through Sunday at all hours. I do not offer boarding in my home, however I can supervise multiple dogs at once, walk dogs, follow specific feeding instructions, and respect the boundaries of your cat. I can also work with security systems and keep your home safe and neat.

About: So I have been taking care of animals for most of my life, but I have been doing it seriously for the past 6 years. I own a horse and a dog of my own, plus reptiles! So I have a well-rounded amount of knowledge! I'm extremely willing to work with the animals that may need more love and attention as well 💙 I currently work part-time as a repair technician for Apple, so this would be another side job for me! I would do any of the walking/house sitting after my job and taking care of my own animals! So I would be taking advantage of any amenities you have for you animal at your home! About: I’ve worked at a doggy daycare for about 2 years now. So I have experience with all breeds and I know how to handle them. I’ve volunteered multiple times at my local animal shelter along with giving dogs medicine including insulin shots! Other than that I’ve grown up with many dogs and cats. So I love animals. I’m currently in college with a major in agriculture hoping to be a vet in the future! I’m currently on summer break so I have a lot of free time at the moment! I can house sit, drop in visits, and do walks in the evening or at whatever time on my days off! I can only care for your pets in your home since I live in a dorm! About: Hi, my name is John and I have loved and cared for dogs and cats since I was 15. I've had several rescue dogs since 2011, including a tri-paw Belgian Melanois, who passed away in 2019. I currently live with Max, a beagle rescue. I mostly work from home so will be with your dog all day. I'll take your dog and my dog Max on a minimum of four walks during the day in downtown Lexington. I'll provide attention and care for your dog. There are are plenty of green space during our walks. Safety, wellness, and happiness for any dog under my care is priority. We have one dog at our house who is smaller, but gets along and plays with other dogs very well. My dog gets excited and barks when he sees other dogs, but will calm down after a couple of minutes. My family and I are all pet lovers and they have had a lot of experience with pets as well. I also go on run and walks daily and would be happy to take your dog or pet along with me!

About: I have experience with many different breeds and temperaments, ranging from puppies to senior dogs, friendly dogs and aggressive dogs. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I owned, cared for, and trained a German Shepherd. I currently own 2 Australian Shepherds, one whom I trained myself. I am very flexible this summer so I can take last minute bookings. I can do any time of day. My weekends are available also for walking, check-ins, or boarding! 30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup the exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day. • 30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away. • My Basic House-Sitting service includes staying overnight with your pup so they have company and comfort in their own home, along with daytime care every 4-6 hours for potty breaks, meals, playtime, and cuddles. I am able to take your dog on walks/runs or play with them inside the house. I can take them outside to the bathroom, feed them, whatever your dog needs!

About: I have dog sat and walked for family and friends for years. I am the mom of a mini schnauzer Loki and cat Sylvie. Animals bring so much joy into the world and I try to bring joy into their days as much as I can! I am an Athletic Trainer at a local high school. I work evenings so have the whole morning free.
