About: Hi, my name is John and I have loved and cared for dogs and cats since I was 15. I've had several rescue dogs, including a tri-paw Belgian Melanois, who passed away in 2019. I currently live with Max, a beagle rescue. I work five days a week from home, so will be with your dog all day. I'll take your dog and my dog Max on numerous walks throughout the day in downtown Lexington. I'll provide attention and care for your dog. There are are plenty of green space during our walks. About: I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was a kid my family loves animals. I dog sit for family friends and have taken care of animals as veterinarian tech. I’m currently a student at UK and take a mix of online and short in person classes. My schedule is pretty relaxed as I don’t have classes everyday of the week. I know leaving your fur babies is difficult, so I make it a point to respond to all messages almost instantly when I am not working my regular 8:30am-5:30pm job, and within 1-2 hours when I am at work. I am experienced with dogs and cats of all ages and love them as my own! I request detailed instructions on feeding and any other important details to be sent via message or written at your home. My weekends and nights after work stay flexible: sometimes I am gone for a couple hours to visit friends, but if a pre-set plan with my friends is intended to take more than 3 hours, I will ensure you are aware ahead of time so we can determine whether I am the best fit for your pets. I only pet sit in the client's home as I believe animals feel safer in an environment they know and trust. I also live in a small space where I cannot have more than my one dog, so bringing more animals home is not an option.
