About: I have over 18 years of hands-on experience working with animals and take pride in providing safe, knowledgeable care for every pet I work with. I’ve trained multiple dogs in behavioral rehabilitation and personal protection, which has given me strong skills in reading body language and handling a wide range of temperaments. I also have experience working as a veterinary technician, so I’m comfortable monitoring pets for health concerns and administering medications if needed. In addition to dogs and cats, I have extensive experience training and handling horses, which has helped me develop patience, consistency, and a deep understanding of animal behavior. I truly care about the animals in my care and believe every pet deserves attentive, reliable, and compassionate treatment while their owners are away. I work from home so I have all the hours to dedicate to your pets and provide the best care possible. Book with me today! I have a full fenced in farm with the ability to keep your furbaby separate from other animals or the ability to let your fur babies play with others. Crates are available as well.
“Joanna had been so nice and loving to our kitties when we were away. She paid attention to every detail and took great care. She spent good time playing with my cats, petting them and giving them lots of love and attention. I was able to put my mind at peace, trusting Joanna with my fur babies. Totally recommend her. ❤️”

“Kyra was awesome with checking in on my cat, Aria. Even though my cat doesn’t love new people sometimes and seemed to be a little angry and sassy during her visits, Kyra still made sure she was well taken care of and did her best to interact/play with her.”

About: I have had dogs all my life. I currently have two golden retrievers who run my world! One is 4 and the other is 8 months old. I am available to stay at your house overnight and during long periods of time. I am a full time ultrasound student in Louisville but my school schedule is very flexible so I can come home to let the pups out multiple times per day! I am currently a full-time sonography student in Louisville, but my class schedule is very flexible. I am also available all weekends. I am able to stay overnight and take your pups out multiple times per day. I have two golden retrievers of my own (they are cared for by my dad when I am gone so they would not be coming with me) and they are SPOILED rotten. I will make sure your pup is the same! I am very active and love going on walks so that would be a part of our daily activities.
“We had booked Jonah to watch our girls on short notice while we had to go out of state for a few days. He had gone out of his way to revisit the pups a few extra times to ensure that they received the care and playtime they needed. Jonah really showed his love for animals when caring for our pups. He made sure that they got more than enough potty breaks and lots of love, attention, and TREATS! Jonah always provided us with updates, along with pictures, during his visits and made us aware of any problems that may have occurred. He would also ask us any questions he had during his visits to ensure that everything was correct. After having Jonah take care of our girls, we can really see that he cares and loves them just as much as we do. We will definitely be contacting Jonah to watch over our fur babies in the future!”

“Janae was great, she checked in on our cats for a couple days while we were out of town. We did an initial visit before the booking just to meet her and see how our cats reacted, they instantly took to her which was a relief. She also very kindly pulled in our trash bins while we were away, we did not expect that but very much appreciated! We would definitely book with Janae again.”

“Jim was so easy to work with when we needed someone to come let Hershey out late at night with little notice. He arrived on time, sent us pictures, and was so sweet to our baby! I would recommend him to anyone and will definitely use him in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. I have over 5 years of experience with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, including puppies and senior dogs. I’m dependable, attentive, and will treat your pets and home like my own! I currently work full-time, which gives me an open schedule after 3:30 pm Sunday-Thursday. I have more than plenty of time to care for pets throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and quality playtime during weekdays and weekends. I always make sure pets get lots of attention, care, and consistency in their routine while their owners are away. I care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable and secure. About: If your dog thinks every walk is an Olympic event, I'm ready for the challenge. I've been walking dogs in my neighborhood for 9 years and have two dogs of my own, so I know that every dog has a different personality. From energetic pullers to squirrel chasers to dogs who get excited when they see other pups, I've learned how to stay calm, patient, and in control while making sure they have fun. I'm comfortable giving medications, providing overnight care, and adapting to each dog's unique personality and needs. At 21, I have the energy for long walks and active dogs, but also the patience and experience to handle more challenging situations safely and calmly. I treat every dog as if they were my own and work hard to make sure they get the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. I’m currently a college student and also working full-time as an intern at a civil engineering firm, so my schedule is pretty structured during the day. The best times for me to care for pets are in the afternoons and evenings. At my home, I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and part of the routine. I stick to their usual schedule as much as possible. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications they need. I also make sure they get plenty of attention and don’t feel stressed while I'm away. In a client’s home, I try to keep things as normal as possible for the pet. I follow all instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding times, walks, meds, or special care. I always make sure they have fresh water, a clean space, and enough exercise and attention. I treat every pet like they’re my own and keep owners updated so they know their pet is doing well!

I am patient, reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. As a professor, I bring professionalism, responsibility, and strong communication to every pet-sitting job. My schedule is especially flexible during evenings, weekends, holidays, and university breaks. About: Hey! My name is Megan. I have had the privilege of working with animals for the past two years. I have a pretty diverse background which includes a year of experience in a veterinary clinic, where I assisted with feeding, walking and companionship with the dogs. In addition, I’ve spent time taking care of horses delving into the equestrian world. Recently, I have been pet sitting and doing drop ins for friends and family, which consists of feeding, walking and playing with the dogs. I have also owned both dogs and cats throughout my entire life! I am currently in school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-12ish. So my schedule is pretty open and flexible. I do work as a pharmacy technician 1-2 days a week sometimes but if I am pet sitting I typically do not do that. While I don’t provide any services in my house I am a very kind and approachable. I feel this creates a safe environment for the pets and a trustworthy environment for the owners.
“Cecelia was great. Jeck and Terra loved her. She was on time and made me feel incredibly comfortable. This was the first time I have used a service to take care of my beasties. I will be using Cecelia whenever I need to travel. Thank you Cecelia!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for as long as I can remember whether it would be my own, friends, or neighbors. I’m willing to do anything with your pet from letting them out at your home, taking them on walks, to a dog park, or the vet if needed. I have an almost 200 pound Great Pyrenees so nothing surprises me. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and especially don’t discriminate on dog breeds. I really hope to be your baby’s second best friend ;) I am a senior at Barton College. I am also on the field hockey team there and majoring in biology. I am HOME FOR THE SUMMER so I would love to come take care of your fur baby. I do work two part-time jobs so I do require at least a week notice for all jobs. Your pet is my number one priority when I am in your home. I want them to feel as comfortable as possible with me so I will follow all instructions faithfully and communicate any issues or questions with you. (and will send you plenty of pictures of your baby)
“Rebecca did an amazing job looking after my two dogs. We hired her for drop ins when we went out of town for the week and came home with my home looking just as I left it- if not better. My dog had a couple of accidents and she made sure to clean it up. She went above and beyond and my dogs felt comfortable with her and warmed right up. One of my dogs is more shy but she did great with her. I loved the pics and my dogs had a great time with her. I would highly recommend!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Crestwood with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
