About: I've had animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, personalities and needs. I currently have two dogs and three cats of my own, and I also volunteer at an animal shelter so I'm very comfortable with shy pets, seniors, high-energy dogs and everything in between. What sets me apart is my calm, loving, devoted one-on-one approach I bring every service. Whether I'm boarding your dog, stopping in for a potty break or pet sesh, hosting daycare or taking your pup for a walk, your pet gets patience, gentleness, clear communication and genuine love. I'm silly with the dogs, respectful of the cats, recognize boundaries and am always attuned to each animal's comfort level. I currently have a very flexible schedule so I'm available for pet care throughout the week. I'm home most of the day which means plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks and a calm and consistent routine for your pet. I offer walks and drop-ins throughout the week and boarding and daycare on weekends. I love building my schedule around each pet to make sure they feel safe and cared for. My home is calm, clean and pet-friendly, with two gentle resident dogs who are great with visitors. I'm experienced with slow introductions and always prioritize safety, comfort and respecting each pet's boundaries. I can crate your dog if needed, keep close supervision during yard time and follow any routines or rules your pet is used to. In your home I maintain the same level of care - keeping things predictable, secure and tailored to your pet's needs.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who has owned a beagle, golden retriever, and most recently our beloved German shepherd. I’ve been dog sitting and walking for over 20 years and truly enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs. I treat every dog like my own and focus on keeping them safe, happy, and well exercised. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I enjoy getting outside for walks throughout the day, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my schedule. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routine as closely as possible so their pet feels comfortable and secure. I provide plenty of exercise, attention, and affection, while also making sure they have fresh water, food, and a safe environment. I’m happy to send updates and photos so owners know their pet is doing well.

About: Owned dogs since I was young and I’ve sat for dogs for the last 8+ years. Experience with many different breeds, ages and temperaments. Just a girl with a soft spot for every dog! During weekends I am available all day, everyday and ensure to get multiple walks, potty breaks and playtime dates into the day. During the week I do work but am home every 4-6 hours to ensure potty breaks and exercise. I live in an apartment complex that offers multiple dog runs/parks. I also walk my own dog 3-5 times per day outside in the neighborhood. I am open to crating or freedom around the apartment based on what the dog needs.

About: I was a three times a day dog walker for an elderly neighbor. When she passed I took ownership of dog. Now I am looking for some new clients. I work from home and dog walk. I have the time to give to your pup tons of walks, play with them, and give lots of kisses. Fridays are dog park day! I can play with your dog in your home. Give your pup a break from the crate and have me walk and get play with your dog.

About: Comfortable with puppies, dogs, and elder dogs. Pets are your nonbiological children and deserve to be treated as such. Whether it’s playing, walking, or bathing, any way their wellbeing can be enhanced, I will strive to provide it. Because of my experience, I comfortable with dogs of any size and age. Over the years, the understanding that each fur baby is special and has their own speed the give their trust has been the corner stone when interacting with any animal. Whatever you want/need, pet bathing, walking, sitting, nail clipping, I am more than happy to accommodate. If you have multiple dogs, I am comfortable with up to 3 large dogs(100+), 4 medium dogs(50-99), or 6 dogs under 50 pounds at once. Additionally, I understand that life happens, and I am more than happy to ease your pain by offering my services with 0 advanced notice. However, I do have a full-time job so weekday activities after 7 am and before 4:30 pm will not be able to be offered if the care is required outside the hours of 11 am and 1 pm. If there are any questions, please let me know as I am always willing to jump at the opportunity to help any animal to the best of my ability. I have a full time job mon-fri 0730-1600. I can do over nights during weekdays, but will only be able to provide feeding and bathroom breaks around noon. My weekends are pretty open and I will be able to provide full time care and everything that entails It takes a lot to scare me off. I spent 3 years caring for an 80 pound dog aggressive dog and 1 year caring for a 100 pound dog aggressive dog. I am also comfortable around dogs that are aggressive/territorial as I understand the extra level of respect, prep, and understanding they require. It’s not their fault and often times it’s a symptom that can be fixed through gaining their trust

About: I've had dogs and cats in my house practically my entire life and have had the opportunity to watch friends' pets on multiple occasions. I have now been a part of the Rover Community for about 3 years. I am comfortable walking dogs, feeding and bathing and cleaning up after pets, as needed. I have a full-time job working 7 hours/day Monday-Friday so I am only available for weekend sitting services, unless your pet can be alone for long periods of time. Please feel free to reach out with any questions/concerns. I am available for house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking in client's home after 3pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. These would include potty breaks, feeding, walking and bathing client's pets as needed. I am willing to stay overnight as well. I can not watch pets at my own house as my own cat does not do well with other animals.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with years of experience caring for dogs with very different breeds, personalities, energy levels, ages, and needs. I’ve grown up around pit bulls and retrievers and am currently a proud Chiweenie owner. One thing I’ve learned from caring for dogs is that understanding their behavior is just as important as feeding them and taking them for walks. I’ve had experience recognizing when a dog is frightened or overstimulated and giving them the space and reassurance they need. For example, when my childhood dog became overwhelmed after a stressful interaction, I took him somewhere quiet so he could calm down. During thunderstorms and fireworks, when he would tremble with fear, I would bring him somewhere comfortable and stay with him until he settled. I’m also the person at family gatherings who naturally ends up keeping an eye on the dogs—making sure they’re getting enough exercise and attention while also making sure younger kids give them appropriate space and treat them respectfully. I’m comfortable with walks, playtime, bathing, and overnight care. I enjoy both tiring out an energetic dog and providing a calm presence for a nervous one. I’ve also cared for cats and generally find that they warm up to me pretty quickly. Most importantly, I will enjoy taking the time to learn your pet’s individual personality, routines, and boundaries. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re with me. I am available throughout the day. I wake up early and care for my own dog before 8 AM every day. I can come by whenever is needed or stick around if that is preferred! I start by taking any instruction from you to heart regarding your pet's personality and habits. Outside of that, I generally would like to start by having a joint meeting between me, your furry friend, and their best friend: you! That way, they can establish a level of trust for when I come by on my own. I follow the routine that you would like me to follow while remaining alert to your pet in the present, just like with my own pup.

About: I grew up with multiple pets, we often called it the "Cook Family Zoo". I've helped take care of many cats, dogs, turtles, fish and even ferrets at one point! I currently have two dogs a terrier/cattle dog mix and a German shepherd/lab mix puppy! They both are rescues and love to cuddle. I volunteer with a local dog rescue and am a proud foster fail. :) I’m passionate about protecting all furry friends and finding the perfect home for each loving animal. I love all animals, big or small, and do my best to be flexible and communicate with you quickly and thoroughly. About: As someone who regularly helps care for a German Shepherd-Husky mix, I’m comfortable with large energetic dogs and the responsibility that comes with them. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, keeping them active, and making sure they feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners by treating every dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and staying active. I make time for walks, playtime, feeding, and giving pets the attention they need. My schedule is flexible, and I do my best to accommodate each pet’s routine so they can feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a clients home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I carefully follow feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions provided by the owner. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. About: I've been around dogs since the day I was born. My Father was the K9 officer throughout middle school and high school so I learned how to train and handle dogs from watching and attending the police training programs. I've had dogs of my own for the last 17 years, and am currently a proud dog mom to an amazing 5 year old Sheltie and 9 year old Labrador, who get along very well with other dogs. I work from home, so I'm able to be around to monitor your pup while at my place constantly. If I do head out while sitting at my house, it's usually only for a few hours at a time and the dogs will remain separated. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of room for the dogs to run, play and just be dogs. I'm adaptable to your dogs needs for food, sleep, and play time. I'm able to take the dogs on extended walks around the neighborhood, and also make sure they get ample exercise running around the back yard during their stay. Lots of pictures can be provided, as I know it's a comfort knowing your dog is loved when you're not around! :) The goal is to have your pup feel like they are at home away from home, so we'll stick to your schedule and rules as close as we can! I work from home so I have an incredibly flexible schedule and am always around. If I do leave the house, the dogs will be separated and never left alone together. For first time visitors, pets are slowly introduced to both my dogs and children. They are constantly monitored and will always have a set of eyeballs on them. At any slight sign of issues our dogs/kids will be separated.

About: My love for dogs started in third grade when I wrote a persuasive essay to my parents about why I want a dog. I grew up with two mini Australian Shepherds (yes, because of my essay) and to this day, my enthusiasm for dogs still grows. I work full time in the office. I can accommodate check ins and walks in the evenings Monday - Friday. Depending on location, I can also check in before work. Before I come take care of your dog, I will make sure that any of your questions and concerns are answered as well as any questions I may have.

Let me know what treats your pup prefers (or any allergies, special diets) so I can come equipped. I have dogs, cats, and exotic pets of my own. I love animals have dedicated my life to their wellbeing. I’m a skilled handler, my own dogs all present their own challenges (especially on walks). Experienced in administering medications, including injectables. I run with my dogs and would love to run with a client’s dog who is up for it! I’m also up for hikes, long walks, or just a slow stroll for my senior dog friends. Cannot accept client where I will need to use a shock collar, sorry. I work from home and have a lot of flexibility to be home or check in on animals. I love to walk and be outside, so if you pets enjoy sunbathing while I'm on zoom calls, they'll love my set up! I have a fully-fenced half acre yard and friendly animals. For drop ins and services in your home, I will follow your instructions to a tee!

About: Hi! My name is Alex and I'm a lifelong animal lover! I’ve had dogs all my life but learned so much more when I started fostering in 2014. Over the years, I’ve raised four dogs of my own, fostered 8 dogs for three different rescue organizations in Kentucky and Ohio, and continue to volunteer with local rescues. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet as an individual—whether they’re energetic puppies, mellow seniors, or anywhere in between. I work second shift during the week and occasional Saturday’s. This gives me time in the morning to work with the pups and get them nice and tired for an afternoon nap! Crate training is an important part of my philosophy with dogs and I try to make sure they’re comfortable and safe. Your pet will stay in a safe, loving home that has a fully fenced back yard for secure outdoor time. I also have spare rooms if your pup needs space and time away from others when in new environment is needed or if they do not do well with stairs. We have three friendly resident dogs: Auggie (12 years old Staffy mix) Sgetti (5 years old husky/shepard mix), and Fern (7 months old rough coat American hunt terrier). I carefully manage interactions to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe, and I will always prioritize your pet’s routine and needs.
