About: Hi! I’m a college student with 7+ years of hands-on animal experience, My family house has 6 dogs and I grew up surrounded by pets my whole life. Dogs and cats have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love giving them attention, care, and comfort while their owners are away. I’m deaf, which has actually made me incredibly observant and attentive with pets. I’m very visually aware, patient, and always present with pets to make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and cared for at all times. Your pets will always have my full attention, love, and supervision! I have references if needed. Taking care of pets is my full-time job as a college student home for the breaks. I enjoy taking care of pets at home, at the dog park, walking around with dogs, and making sure they have a fun time. I care for pets by following their routine and instructions given by owners, ensuring food, water, walks, and playtime, while keeping them safe, calm, and comfortable in my home.

“Thankyou Anne for taking care of my sweet babies Cooper and Ollie. I love that you sent me so many pictures, I can tell that the boys loved you, and were probably so glad to see a familiar face. I will definitely use you again. Thankyou again so much!!”

About: I've had an outdoor sometimes in door cat and shihtzu when I was a kid. Recently I have helped healed my dog's vision with diligent administration of eye drops. I've cared for multiple dogs on ocassion and can stay the whole week. Walking dogs, or feeding pets first thing in the day are what get me up in the morning. I also work out throughout the week so I can include that activity to include the pets. I adhere to schedule and boundaries. I understand that the specific instructions are to make sure the pet is cared the way it needs to be.
About: Growing up, outside of school I spent a good portion of my free time volunteering at a local animal shelter and actively challenging kids around me to help provide care to pets in most need. Over the years, these experiences have translated into a unique skill set of tricks and techniques to provide your pet with the utmost attention and care they deserve. My goal is to offer any pet (cat, dog, any other small animal) under my supervision unparalleled quality of care and a loving home environment. My home is on a 4 Acre plot of land with a fenced yard. The fenced yard allows for free play at least once every 1-2 hours with my supervision. When on leash we can explore the other unfenced portion of the yard or neighborhood. Inside my home my wife and I have partitioned pet safe areas where they can freely roam. I have tons of toys for all sizes and want their stay to be a vacation for them. :) I have two small corgis that are extremely friendly and love to play with new friends. If bringing your animal to my residence is not convenient, I offer a pick up and drop off service for a round trip fee. My goal is to simplify your pet care needs, by providing unparalleled quality care, a loving home environment, and peace of mind that your family member is being taken care of by a loving family I work at home as a front-end software developer, my work schedule is flexible meaning I can provide as much attention as your pet deserves I have a climate controlled room that has doggy doors that allows them to free roam inside and in the yard (with supervision). Most services needed or requested can be accommodated. Pets are allowed to roam inside my home or in my yard with my supervision. I take dogs on at least 3 walks a day if weather permits. I can accommodate most requests I currently work a part-time job from home that allows for a ton of flexibility. That being said I have a ton of time to play with your pups and give them the attention and care they deserve. My schedule is very flexible and I seek to make things as convenient as possible for you. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs that are always looking to make new friends. When boarding I make sure to keep a close eye on any pet in my supervision. I have spare crates, bowls, blankets, and a mountain of toys to play with. In the summertime I have dog pools, sprinklers, and lots of fun

“This was our first experience with Rover and the entire process was perfect. From Tabitha's meet and greet with my cats, I knew we were in good hands. Tabitha worked with our schedule, kept us in the know with texts and pictures, and went above and beyond our expectations. She was not offended by our "skeptical of all new people" Millie and managed the needs and meds of our 22 year old Emi with gentle care and attention. Tabitha is a keeper!!!”
About: I was fortunate enough to be raised in a home with a variety of animals! I have had dogs my entire life, and cats for the last decade, with bunnies, frogs, hamsters, hermit crabs, and more along the way! Anyone who knows me, knows how important my pets are to me. They are more than pets, they are my family! I have had big, medium, and small dog breeds, and worked with cats with all different personality types and backgrounds. I understand how important it is to have peace of mind with the person responsible for your family members when you're away, and with me you will never doubt that your fur babies are being spoiled! Working with me, you'll find that I can accommodate any request or 'weird pet quirk' that you may throw my way. I find that animals respond well to my calm and genuine nature, and it provides enjoyment for me as well! I just recently got engaged and am hoping to help fund my wedding and future home, please reach out if you have any questions or special requests! I am also known to send probably too many pictures while you're gone, for that extra reassurance that all is well! I look forward to becoming a part of your village, please don't hesitate to reach out for all pet and house care needs! I work from home as a mental health professional and create my own schedule, so pet care can fit very easily into my routine. I will be as flexible as possible with the families I work with, and communication will never be a concern! At this time, in order to protect my own fur babies and yours, I will not be bringing client's pets' into my own home. I find that pets are more comfortable in their own environment most of the time, and I would rather keep their comfort a priority. I follow directions provided by the families on how to best keep their pet comfortable with a new person entering their space. Reading their behavior and body language is so important!
“This was my first time using Rover, and Lauran made the entire experience so easy and stress-free. She kept me updated daily with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. She truly went above and beyond when any issues came up. I would absolutely book with her again!”

“Jamie did a great job with our two dogs. She played fetch & spent time with them and she also sent me an update/pictures of the visit. I would not hesitate to book Jamie again - she is a very sweet and animal-friendly person!”
“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mary! She’s super responsible, caring, thoughtful, always on time and my pups absolutely love her. Please give her a call - she’s wonderful!!”

About: I have a strong medical knowledge background, I have cared for sick dogs, cats and rabbits before. I'm very patient with animals. I try my best to give my animals lots of mental stimulations, either a puzzle to work with or a fun catch game to play, there's never a boring day in their life. I look forward to spare the fun and love to your beloved pets too. I'm currently searching for master degree, I have plenty of times in hand to take care of pets. I'm available for boarding anytime, I can do early morning or late night. In my home, there is a fenced backyard, where the dog could play. I have a room dedicated for dog, and a backup room dedicated for dog training. I have all emergency vet number on speed dial, I also know how to perform CPR/ First aid for pets if accident happens, I'm getting my official pet CPR license right now.
“Gabriella was very invested in our cat’s wellbeing while we were gone and went above and beyond. She made sure he had company and got everything he needed. I really appreciated her time investment and transparent, picture-laden updates at every check-in. Definitely recommended to book her!”

About: I am a doctoral candidate in Biology at UofL, so you know I'm good at organization and scheduling! I think my time as a graduate student has sharpened my reasoning and communication skills as well. It's also increased my animal handling experience (mice)! I've had pets my whole life, mostly cats and dogs. My most recent pet is an elderly shi tzu with a surprising amount of energy! Apollo is a very skiddish cat, but we've definitely earned each others' trust. I can drop by to check on your pet, take them out for a walk (if weekday, must be before 10am or after 5pm, can be flexible), check on them periodically to feed them, or house sit (weekends only). I am a grad student, so I'm usually busy during weekdays 10am-5pm. Most of my work now is away from the bench, so I can be a little flexible about those hours Weekends are generally open! I love in an apartment that doesn't allow animals so I can't keep any here. I can however watch your furry friend at your house or take them on walks around the neighborhood!
About: I’ve been caring for pups for over 2 decades; I love any kind of well behaved animal and want the chance to spread that love to other dogs when their families are away. I absolutely hate having to leave my own, so I understand when owners are leery about leaving their precious family in the hands of another, so I do my best to ease that anxiety! I am a nurse, so I am very knowledgeable about medications and administration if necessary for your pet. I am taking some time off work so I will be available to do walks and drop-ins, so the your animals’ routine is changed as little as possible! I am able to send you as many pictures as you desire updating you on how your dog is doing while you are away :) In between work travel assignments so I am free and taking some time off from work. I am flexible so just let me know your needs! I Love running with dogs who are up for it. Happy to take them to nearby parks if the weather is good! I would like to know if your dog has a tendency to tear up household items so I can prepare for it!
“Loura did a great job with my cat Bailey! She’s a pretty chill cat and didn’t need much, but Loura did everything needed and it gave me peace of mind to know Bailey was in good hands with the photo updates.”

About: I’ve had over 20 pets growing up, from dogs, hamsters, ferrets, you name it. I have lots of experience working with animals, including lots of training caring for animals and building fast-strong bonds. Im an educator with early mornings that allow me ample time in the early afternoons and evenings to care for you pet. My schedule is pretty flexible and able to fit around your pet sitting needs when giving proper notice. I can also be available for quick dog walks and check ins everyday of the week. I have my own dog, Onyx who is able to roam free unless I leave the house and will offer the same freedom to your dog. We live in a great neighborhood with other friendly pet owners and provide a great route for nice long walks to enjoy the weather. I can also crate or fence in your pet if needed as well.
About: I am a state certified veterinary technician and also someone who has had a love for all animals since I was a kid. I've been helping all animals personally (and then professionally) for years...actually decades! I treat all fur-babies as I would my own. The unconditional love we receive from our pets is something I treasure and never take for granted. Whether young pups and kittens, or senior dogs and cats, I give them all the attention and love they deserve and crave (especially while their parents/owners are away). My schedule is currently wide open, as I have just moved back to Prospect, KY recently and am looking for the right fit in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital. My schedule is quite flexible, so I can work around yours. With my state certified veterinary technician license I am able to do things that others are not. I can also tell you what may be a start of an ear infection or allergies or nothing at all! I enjoy going to dog parks, taking walks, playing fetch (or keep away haha) but also enjoy the quiet calm time while rubbing bellies and brushing hair. Also dog massages for the senior dogs helps tons with their aches and pains and I more than willing to assist. It actually puts them in a calming trance. Cats and I are a sort of soul mate (maybe it’s the name haha) but I have dealt with watching 5 cats at an owners house and 3 of the 5 had special medical needs that I was more than happy to help! They started booking me a year out ahead of time if they could!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
