âOur medium-sized, older dog has stayed with Rachel a couple times while we are out-of-town and always enjoys her âvacationâ too. Rachel communicates frequently with pictures and video. Highly recommend.â

âWe highly recommend Sarah and Daniel to board your furry family member. Our pup Freddie stayed a few days and they kept contact and sent photos daily which was awesome. We will definitely be boarding Freddie with Sarah and Daniel and family again! đâ¤ď¸đâ

âRobin took great care of my girls. She took special care to be sure she had all the details to make them feel right at home. She communicated and sent pictures both days I was gone. I am very pleased with their stay and will definitely use her again.â

âMy wife and I had a weekend trip planned and the person that was set to watch our dog had a last minute emergency. I sent a message to Elizabeth and Phillip and they responded within minutes. Our dog is 7 months old and it is only the second time we have left him. The first time was at a kennel and we really wanted a home environment for him. Elizabeth and Phillip provided great care. They sent daily pictures and updates. He must have had a great time because after picking him up he slept most of the day. We will definitely be calling them again the next time we need a sitter.â

âI seriously couldnât have asked for a better dog sitter! Amanda sent us pictures and videos every day, which made being away from our boys so much easier. It was obvious they were having the best time and I honestly think they had just as much fun at her house as we did on vacation! Weâre so thankful for everything she did while we were gone, and I wouldnât hesitate to leave our dogs with her again. Highly, highly recommend!â

âSarah sis really great with our dogs. They came home happy, healthy, and well-cared for. Sarah took they on walks and allowed them on couches and beds. We are so appreciate of her and the positive stay had by our pups! Would recommend and book again.â

âWeâve used Julie twice now and she is nothing short of amazing. Our little girl loves it there and I know she is well taken care of. Julie is super easy to communicate with and very responsive! If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy sitter, book her now!â

About: I have loved and cared for animals all my life. Most recently I began regularly fostering dogs with LMAS. I have fostered over a dozen dogs of all ages but I specialize with puppies. I focus on house and crate training with puppies and I enjoy multiple daily walks through my neighborhood park. I currently work from home from 9-5 and I am free on weekends. In my spare time I enjoy running and riding my bike. I believe in the more the merrier so if your pup is up to join I'm all for it! My home has a moderately sized fenced in backyard and a screened in patio that is very popular with my foster puppies. I enjoy house and crate training and I have had a lot of success through threshold training. I have a Siberian Husky and a Tabby Cat that get along with each other and they also love making new friends.
About: Growing up, my family would foster a lot of dogs so I have a lot of experience with different breeds and different ages and different backgrounds. Nowadays, I just have my dog Daisy and cat mango who are very friendly to other pets. I am available throughout the entire week. On Monday Wednesday and Friday I work but can work from home as needed. I am available to take care of your babies whenever they need. I have a fenced in yard and very safe and friendly neighborhood. I give lots of quality time to the pets that are in my care.
âOutstanding!! I was very very last minute and Ebony still took our dog in for the day! He came back so happy and looked as if he had a great stay! Thank you again! Will use you again!!â

âSimba enjoyed his time with Carrie so much that I was worried he wouldnât want to come home! Knowing he was well cared for allowed me to relax and enjoy my vacation!â

âI was so anxious about leaving Lucy overnight with someone new. Oliver really seemed to understand and appreciate that. I got nice photos of Lucy hanging out and when I picked her up they invited her back even though she stole a hamburger. Oilver did a great job with Lucy who tends to be scared of new people but I could tell Lucy got great outside time, played with other dogs and was tired when she got home. I Wil Def. Recommend and bring Lucy back when I need someone again.â

âTina was great with our dog! Sent pictures and updates of our pet every day. Super flexible with our times of drop off & pick up. Highly recommend and will definitely use again!â

âStephanie was accommodating, responsive, and just sweet in general. She sent us updates pretty much every day, which we absolutely loved! Felt as if we left our pup with family. đâ

âShunita boarded my puppy and helped nurse him back to health in a time where he needed extra loving, and care just like he was her own! Takes great care and pride in the babies she keeps.â

About: We believe every dog deserves individualized care, which is why we only board one familyâs dog(s) at a time. This allows us to provide a calm, low-stress environment where your pup receives plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. Our family genuinely enjoys having dogs in our home. Our friendly Siberian Husky loves canine companionship, and our three children enjoy playing fetch, exploring the backyard, and giving our guests lots of love and attention. We tailor each stay to your dogâs personality and needsâwhether that means long walks and outdoor adventures or a quiet day relaxing inside. We understand how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone else because weâve boarded our own dog, too. Thatâs why communication is one of our priorities. Youâll receive regular photo and video updates along with messages so you can relax knowing exactly how your pup is doing. Safety is equally important to us. We have a large, securely fenced backyard, require current vaccinations, and carefully introduce dogs to ensure everyone is comfortable. We also keep our schedule flexible so your dog isnât left alone for long periods and receives the care and attention they deserve. Our goal is simple: to make your dog feel like part of our family while giving you complete peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into our familyâs daily routine. We work from home and have flexible schedules, allowing us to provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, walks, and lots of attention throughout the day. Because we only care for one familyâs pet(s) at a time, we can tailor our routine to meet your dogâs individual needs and help them feel right at home. Our pets are part of the family! Our friendly Siberian Husky loves to play and enjoys the company of other dogs. We provide daily walks, playtime, plenty of outdoor time in our securely fenced yard, and lots of love and attention. We can accommodate crate-trained dogs and tailor each stay to your petâs individual routine, personality, and needs, so theyâll feel safe, comfortable, and right at home.
âIan was amazing! He stayed in contact with us so we knew our baby was comfortable and happy. She is older, deaf, and not used to being alone since I work from home. He dealt with her laundry list of specific needs and never missed a beat. She made a new friend and we will be using him again if we ever have another need for extended care.â

SO happy to have found Waverly and Jared! They took great care of my dog and she came home so happy. They are great communicators sending daily pictures and updates. I highly recommend them and we will definitely use them again! Gems including their sweet dog Topper! I canât thank them enough for their wonderful care!

Carrie was absolutely amazing. Super sweet and caring for my pup, Carl while we were gone for the weekend. She kept me update on what he was doing and how he was doing. Her home is very clean and comfortable. Her yard is big and perfect for the animals. Will definitely be using her services again!!

Kelsey took amazing care of my dog, Katai, while I was away. From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely loves animals, and that gave me so much peace of mind. She kept me updated with messages and photos, and Katai looked happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. When I picked him up, he was relaxed, healthy, and clearly had been treated like family. Itâs not easy trusting someone with your dog, but Kelsey exceeded every expectation. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, caring, and attentive. Thank you, Kelsey, for taking such great care of KataiâI wouldnât hesitate to book with you again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in KY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Roverâs reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
